I always wanted to make some countdown here. I mean I made some in different spots, but this Disney Princess spot is one of my favourite clubs, so I have been thinking of the theme for some time. And at last - it was the Disney Couples mois - I realized that the Best Parents Countdown could be fun! I knew I should have done something before my vacation in August, so I estimated all, prepared icones and began all this thing.
Well, the first two rounds were good, but then... I don't know how it's happened! I forgot to add one couple, moreover they are my third favourite couple, Tiana & Naveen. I don't know how I could forget them. Well, I redid those rounds, but the results were completely different, so I was so sad. I began to think, that maybe I shouldn't have begun it at all.
Anyway, now the countdown is over, and here are results. Sorry for messing all this up. Don't judge me please.

9. POCAHONTAS & JOHN

My opinion: Well, this couple is the last in the list. And I must admit that I understand why they are so low. Different countries, even continents, different customs, religion, absolutely different cultures - all these factors are rather bad combination for raising children.

And it doesn't mean one culture is worse ou something, of course no. It just means that they couldn't raise them in both at once, and the fact that both are stubborn only makes it all even plus difficult. Plus, they didn't end up together, so... Which children are we talking about?!?

Your opinion:
~ "...the main thing that may effect Pocahontas & John's parenting would be the conflict between their two races, for years after the events of the film they where practically at war and a child caught in the middle would be hectic, the other question would be all the travelling..." (disney_prince)
~ "...If it was raised with Pocahontas' tribe & John stayed there, I think he would probably make his child read and do a lot of hunting & inventing, while Pocahontas would be plus trying to get their kid to be in tune with nature, etc. They would have different priorities and I could see John feeling alienated. If the child was raised in England, and Pocahontas came over, it would basically lose all touch with its Native American roots and I can't imagine Pocahontas being too happy in England, and I'm betting that would have a negative affect on the kid." 8. SNOW WHITE AND the PRINCE

My opinion: I think they are kinds themselves for raising children, but who a dit they would ours children immediately!? I think they have some of the necessary prerequisites for being good parents. And especially I think so about Snow White.

She treated all dwarfs as they deserved, treated them all in different way. She is nice and affectionate. She could be very good mom.

~ "They'd have their child grow up to think that the world is a beautiful, lovely place where nothing bad happens, and if it does, someone else will always get toi out of it. There's also the issue of the lessons they'd be taught par their father and naive mother, like, "It's perfectly fine to let aléatoire strangers serenade you/serenade a aléatoire stranger", "Breaking and entering is okay when you're desperate" and "having a dude Kiss toi when you're dead isn't creepy at all" (seriously Snow, I don't care how in l’amour toi are. And from this place problems have began. I discovered that I forgot Tiana & Naveen in this round. Well, I montrer toi all the results connected with three couples, Belle & the Beast, Ariel & Eric, Mulan & Shang.
The results were different every time, but I decided to order these couples as they were ordered in first picks.
But it doesn't mean it was an easy decision, because I'm kinda biased. Anyway here are the 7th, the 6th and the 5th places.



7. BEAUTY & the BEAST
My opinion: It makes me very sad, this place is so unfair in my opinion. And it's not because they're my faovurite couple, I can be objective. I tried to understand what makes most of fans to choose rhis couple so soon, but I failed. I still wonder. Well, the whole point of the movie was about the importance of l’amour and inner beauty. Let's admit, not all Disney Princess films can brag of having this moral. So what? Both Belle and the Beast learned this lesson, they would teach their children according to it. Besides the Beast had known all about responsibility, and Belle - about affectionate relationship between parents and children. Just perfect situation for bringing up a child. And the point that he was rude and evil and so on doesn't work. The enchantress knew it, because he realized all his problems and became human again.

6. Mulan & SHANG
My opinion: Hmmm, I can't see them being over-sweet with their babies. I know, people change, but I don't think Mulan would l’amour to raise children. I even don't think what to say because I just can't imagine them having babies. It's bad.

5. ARIEL & ERIC
My opinion:
Ariel needs to learn a lot of things, she knows almost nothing about human life. Plus, she's irresponsible, immature. It's not that she's a bad person, but she's definitely not good mother. What about Eric, I'm not sure. But probably he wouldn't strict. But Sebastian would help him, just kidding.

Your opinion:

4. jasmin & ALADDIN

My opinion: First of all, it is one of my favourite couples. BUT they wouldn't be that good parents in my opinion. Why could they? He's a thief (by the way I'm sure there was someone's commentaire about it, but now I can't find it...), he would be at least strange dad.

And what about her, I personally don't think she's spoiled, but something like that. She's a princess, she has all (well, except mom) and she is rather lucky. She only says she would like to live outside her house, but does she realize what it means - to live ordinary life!? I don't mean she should, ou she couldn't be good mom, I just say that she's not that ready for it. Maybe Aladin would help her. It's strange but there are only few commentaires about them. Maybe we can't imagine them as parents!? ou just don't know.

3. Cendrillon & the PRINCE

My opinion: The fact that we don't know a lot about the Prince means that we can only assume how good he would be as dad. But I'm pretty sure Cendrillon would be very good mom. Maybe the best out of all princesses.

Her attitude to her pets - sounds silly I know - reminds me relationship with kids. All l’amour her, but also they respect her, so if she a dit something, they would obey. Besides she's hard-working and just sweet and nice. Perfect mom. Let's hope she chose the best man for being dad of her children.

2. TIANA & NAVEEN

My opinion: They are lovely, I l’amour them so much together, but I'm really surprised they're so high! Tiana would be good mom, but she loved her career so much, that maybe at first she would believed them to be kind of burden. My guess only though.

Naveen (oh girls, take a deep breath!) would be amazing husband, no doubt. But dad!? He would definitely adore them, maybe even plus than Tiana, but raise them... teach them... Do toi really think so? I don't. But they would look lovely together. Aww!

~ "This was hard, because they both make great parents, but I think even though Tiana learned to have plus fun and Naveen to work, they might slip back into their own ways, every once in awhile, they might slightly forget about their kids every once in awhile." (VGfan30)

1. AURORA & PHILLIP
My opinion: Do toi know that it's my seconde favourite couple? But I'm shocked, not to say more, that they are the first couple here! I mean I'm glad and agree, but I didn't expect at all!
They both are smart, kind, brave, reliable, and so on (I did say that I l’amour them!), sure they would have amazing kids, not only beautiful as their parents, but also well-educated, polite, gallant - deserved to be princes and princesses.
Besides they think alike, I mean they would probably have no argues about how to bring up children.
In short Aurora and Phillip are the first today and we can only imagine how lovely their family would be!
