Hi, y'all! I hope toi enjoyed the article I posté last, and I hope you'll enjoy plus in the future!

Today's article will be about both versions of Beauty And The Beast.

The characters:

(Before I begin, I just want to say as much as I l’amour the characters, I might not be able to include them all, but, I'll try my best to give them a mention ou two. If I leave out a character toi love, my sincerest apologies in advance.)

Belle:

I have to be honest, I thought both versions were just outstanding. One thing I liked about the live-action Belle, though, is her bravery. (I.E. When she tried to escape after being imprisoned/before escaping the first time.) I'm not saying the original Belle isn't brave, because she is, but toi can see that trait plus in the live-action movie. Another thing I like about the live-action Belle is she's so eager to find out what happened to her mother, and as she does, it's heartbreaking. My cœur, coeur broke into tiny little pieces for her in that moment. I'll get to plus of that part of the story later on in the article, but for now, I'd like to point out is that she isn't afraid to go out of her way to help others. Teaching a little girl to read is a perfect example. Yeah, Gaston gave her some crap for it, but I liked how she defended herself against him during that sequence. I think they pulled off the bravery factor with her perfectly. They knocked it out of the park.

I want to talk about the original Belle for a second. While I loved Emma Watson's performance as the live-action one, there's no better version than the original one. The original one has that warm, comforting, and motherly like feel about her. Every time she walks into a room in the castle, it's like everyone feels at ease. She's practically adored when everyone gets to know her. While the live-action Belle has those traits, too, they're just plus evident in the original one. They certainly knew what to do on both versions, that's for sure.

Beast:

Now that I think about it, both Beasts are very similar to one another. They're both rough, angry, hotheaded, and impatient. Actually, the liste goes on, but my point is they have similar characteristics, and the way they evolve is very similar, too. Slowly starting to soften up, becoming nicer, enjoying things, that liste also goes on. One thing I liked about the live-action Beast, though, is he took Belle to where everything all came about. Another thing is where he had his own song when Belle is set free. I'll get to the rest of that in a minute. One other thing I liked is he tries to take on reading. I have to admit, it was kinda funny how he strongly disliked the romantic stories! As I was saying, they did a really good job in keeping both Beasts similar to each other. I was a big fan of that there.

Maurice:

Both versions are lovable without a doubt, but what I like about the live-action one is he tries to do what's best for Belle, even if he has to go out on a limb ou two. He also lets his bravery shine later on in the movie. The emotion of seeing that quality in him just felt so real and so raw. The original Maurice has that trait, also, but it shows up plus in the live-action Maurice. I don't know if it's just me ou they try to comply plus with the actual story. Either or, both Maurice's are fantastic. One may differ from the other in afew ways, but they're still terrific characters.

Gaston:

Before I get started with THIS comparison, I'm just going to go ahead and say the original Gaston has the best damn chant voice out of any DP villain! toi don't even have to ask me twice about that. The live-action Gaston has a good voice, too, but nothing the original Gaston's! I could go on and on about how badass it is! But, I need to déplacer it along, haha. The original Gaston is just trying to get at Belle for his own gain. He gets WAY in over his head in certain moments when it comes to her. (Think about his "proposal" and that front yard wedding!) Yeah. What I found interesting about the live-action Gaston is he was in the war. Something else I'd like to mention is how he tries to maneuver himself into Maurice's plan to rescue Belle from the tower. Talk about a conniving and manipulative little worm! Had Maurice not seen right through that, I would've added sneaky, but I'm glad that sequence happened! I personally think the live-action Gaston is 5 times plus villain like as the film progresses. Don't get me wrong, the original Gaston is very much a villain, but he comes across as plus full of himself at times, especially during the beginning of the film. I think they improved Gaston's villain qualities in the live-action movie. They're both great villains, but at the same time, they were spot on with adding those tweaks to the live-action one. Seeing that was a plus.

LeFou:

The original Lefou is annoying. He gets under my skin, his character traits are boring, and he was just global, ensemble a pretty crappy sidekick. He basically wanted to be Gaston throughout the entire movie! He drove me insane. I hate to sound bitter, but, I just didn't like him. At all. The live-action LeFou is a VERY different story, though. He was funny as hell, and later became one of the good guys. In fact, toi could see a bit of that before the change of cœur, coeur even happened. (I.E. trying to make Gaston come to his senses.) Let me just say Josh Gad did a hell of a job as Lefou! If toi ask me, I think they gave him some redemption in the live-action movie.

The objects:

(Because there are alot of these, I'm actually going to be talking about them as a group. Some characters may get an individual mention, but I'll still be talking about them in this group like fashion.)

I thought the live-action objects were fairly close to the original ones. My only complaint is the about the live-action dresser. She's only awake for about a couple minutes, then falls asleep again. The original dresser never had that issue. I DO get the reason behind this because they're running out of time to find someone for Beast. This brings me to what I'd like to talk about next. I liked how the live-action objects briefly turned into legit objects when the last petal fell. They did a good job with that effect. As much as the live-action characters were close to the original ones, I have to admit I l’amour the original Mrs. Potts. She has something so iconic about her I can't put my finger on it. There's nothing else like her. RIP Angela Lansbury.

The music:

I was surprised to hear about afew new songs being added into the live-action adaptation, but when I heard about Celine Dion coming back to one for it, I was over the moon. Now, my only other complaint is when I heard about Ariana Grande chant the titre song with John Legend, that turned me off. Mainly because no one can out-do Angela ou Celine. (The other reasons I'm gonna keep to myself.) How Does A Moment Last Forever can actually be three different versions if toi think about it. toi have Maurice's version at the beginning, toi have Belle's version when she and Beast visit visit her old childhood home, and toi have Celine's version being played at the end of the movie. From what I heard of Celine's version, I thought it was beautiful. Her voice is still as powerful when she did the original titre song. On a personal note, Forevermore has made me cry. Beast's voice is so powerful and bold, it sends chills down your spine. It's such a beautiful song. As for the other original songs, I liked how they stayed true to them. The actors and actrices really stayed close to the magic they had all those years ago.

The setting:

The village seemed, in my opinion, crammed. Everything almost looked squashed together, and it even looked like some people couldn't even get around. Keep in mind this is the live-action village. Yes, the original village was small, too, but at least everything had l’espace in between and the people could still get around. The live-action château had an interesting feel at times. Some rooms were light, and others were dark, but that's just ME. I have a weird habit about noticing how the lighting is in some of these live-action adaptations.

Before we go any further, I HAVE to talk about the live-action ballroom. It had all this beautiful effect when Belle and Beast danced. When the lights got dimmed, it was like stars were surrounding them as the other lights had begun to shine. That was something I felt the original ballroom kind of lacked. Hey, I still thought it was just as gorgeous, but they knocked it out of the park with adding those effects to the live-action one.

Another thing I'd like to mention is the bar room scene. (Excuse me for calling that. I have deep southern roots.) What I found odd was the live-action bar room had what almost looked like picnic tables. Really long picnic tables from what it looked like to me. The original bar room had alittle plus l’espace and individual tables. Both still had a bar, which is typical for a pub, but that isn't my point. I'm no history specialist because I'm not sure if those types of rooms looked like that way, way back in the day. But I think the original bar room felt plus like an actual place. Again, that's just me.

The story:

Let's face it, we all l’amour the original story, but when it comes to the live-action one, talk about good twists and turns. First, I'd like to get to the part we've all been trying to find réponses for. Belle's mother. I was so impressed with the way they put that in. It was sad, but at the same time, impressive. In fact, I remember a friend saying we now know what happened to her. And this was like afew minutes after we left my local theater! Yes, some people may think it's just apart of another version of a move, but for others, it's the answer to the question we've had for almost half our lives, and we finally have the answer.

Another thing I'd like to touch on is Agathe being the enchantress. I loved how they had her walk in at the end to revive the rose. It was incredible. Before that, we saw her as this townswoman who isolated herself from the rest of the people. I also liked how she helped Maurice when he was stranded in the woods. That turn at the end of the movie, though, talk about amazing! That was such an amazing twist!

global, ensemble review:

The original: 10/10

The live-action: 10/10

I know this movie caused some controversial moments, but I'm not here to talk about those. I'm here to SOLELY talk about the performances. Trust me, this live-action performance blew me away!

That's it for this article. My suivant one will be on both versions of Cinderella. My apologies for taking so long on this one! I promise the suivant one won't take as long.

Thanks for reading! Much l’amour y'all! <3

salut guys, what's up? I'm doing this cause I feel like hardcore ratings. So here is a rule, no redesigns. All they truly do is fuck up the hairstyles. I'm not listing them. I'm just rating, so it doesn't go like that. Also, I joke a lot. Those who know me well know I joke a lot. So the first princess on the liste is:

Snow White:

We saved the first for first! Snow White does have nice hair, I like it, But I feel it's too short. Perhaps if it was longer I'd like it more. The bow is very cute and adds to her unbearable cuteness.

6/10 tops :3

Cinderella:
She had three hairstyles. And it's now against...

"Well, I hope that we're not in trouble!" a dit Cendrillon nervously. "Now, now why are the both of us in trouble? We didn't do anything wrong, she just wants to talk to us." a dit Prince Charming calmly.
After dinner, Both Cendrillon and Prince Charming go to Dee Dee's room alone. All of the princesses, Ella, Prince Kit and Dee Dee are also in the room too. 1) During the song, "I See The Light," the lantern Rapunzel lifts up into the sky is actually the lantern her mother and father sent out. Also, they used 45,000 lanterns in the scene of the movie!

2) Raiponce is the longest Disney animated film since Fantasia.

3) Animators say Rapunzel's hair is approximately 70 feet long, and holds about 100,00 strands,

4) Mother Gothel's dress is from the Renaissance period, during the 1780's. Raiponce takes place afterwards, thus montrer how old Mother Gothel really is.

5) To come up with Flynn Rider's design, male animators asked female animators what...

Rapunzel woke up.

She was laying in the grass, and she did not see the years that she had cried..

I cried my cœur, coeur out.. Why are they gone?

How long was I asleep?

Rapunzel tried to figure out how long she had been asleep.

Then she remembered..

The Knife!

But.. That's only if I have no one left..

And I have no one..

"Maybe later.. I have to figure out.. How long I was asleep."

She walked around.

She saw footsteps.

But they were faint, very faint. She wasn't even sure if they were footsteps..

I'll follow them.. Maybe they'll lead somewhere.

Then she kept walking.

And then.. She found..

Hair?

It was red hair,...

Hi! I'm @arendelle and this is my list, least to favorite. Enjoy!

11: Beauty and The Beast

This movie, I simply found boring. It reminds me of most films where a girl looks inside of the man and he saves her. The end. To me, it was a very cliche modern fairy tale, one I'd probably make up as a child to tell an adult. I feel like Beauty and The Beast scores better with a younger audience than an older one, since it teaches good moral values that maybe little one's don't know but we do.
Music: I found the musique poorly written and rushed. Even though I do like the chorus in the song Belle a lot,...

Ever since I've been out of that tower and crowned princess, I've dreamed of marrying Eugene. Well, I asked my parents about it, and they a dit I can marry him only if I get educated. I had servants look for colleges and private schools that I might be interested in. The one that I picked was Disney Academy. It had great classes and I heard it was a lot of fun. I applied right away.
About two months later, I got a letter saying that I was accepted in Disney Academy and they suggested I apply in their art classes too. I was so excited that I ran to my room to pack my things. I passed par mother...

"Maybe we should give up. It's getting late." Ben suggested. The sun had already begun to set. Lizzie looked up at him sadly. Ben and Lizzie had been searching for the fleur for two hours and hadn't even come close. Lizzie turned around to keep looking, when she heard a thud behind her. She turned around to see Ben on the ground. He was a bit clumsy but Lizzie found it cute. Now she could see a faint glowing coming out of the corner of her eye.
"Ben, we found it!" Lizzie shrieked. She ran over to him, put her arms around his neck, and kissed him. Then she ran over to the flower. Ben looked...

Following the phenomenal The Princess and the Frog (which also set the return of glourious hand-drawn animation into the studio), Raiponce became Disney's 50th Animated film and I'm happy to rapporter that is a sensational film that proudly fits that milestone.
