The results are in! So which château is the most beautiful among all? I recently conducted a vote to figure which castles are seen as the most beautiful castles from DP films par fans, and here's what the Disney Princess fans have to say about each and how they have ranked it.
Special thanks to tiffany88, who has generously contributed not only with her commentaires but also with phenomenal collages to help the fans choose better! Thank toi so much for your generous help! <3

12. DunBroch château from Brave:
fans voted out this one the first considering the château as least beautiful of all. It looked ugly to them. I'm guessing because it is just stones and no pretty things adorn the château as such, that's why it's low on liste of fans. Though some appreciated how realistic it looked.

AudreyFreak: "the scenery is gorgeous, and the château is very realistic looking, much plus so than the others, but maybe that's why I find it the least pretty."

tiffany88: "I hate the style of this castle, ugly."

Sparklefairy375: "This one is so least beautiful castle. "

11. Ice château from Frozen:
fans felt it wasn't beautiful just because it was made par ice. It felt cold, blank and also practically unliveable.

wavesurf:: "Never liked this one. And didn't appreciate that Elsa was abandoning every responsibility she had to build it. Plus it's cold-looking and even Jadis's had plus decor."

anukriti2409: "except for the chandelier, it wasn't even beautiful, leave alone the practicality of its existence and someone living in it."

laylastepford: "Could never live in a place like this and it doesn't make much sense. This could never really be made out of ice and even if it was made of glass ou something else instead, I don't like the lack of privacy and stability that a château should have."

AudreyBrooke: "i like others better"

10. King Stefan and Queen Leah's château from Sleeping Beauty:
Consent was that the château in Sleeping Beauty was too dark and colorless and gave off a cold feeling. Since it was also one of the stone castles, so it was quite low on the choice, perhaps lack of decor put fans off from finding a château beautiful.

NCISLuverjk93: "Boring"

anukriti2409: "dark, cold and empty-ish. Yea, don't like this one much"

tiffany88: "the interior of this château is just disgusting, I'm absolutely not a fan of this era. Dark, color-less and cold."

9. Arendelle's château from Frozen:
Not sure how fans voted this one out as there were no supporting arguments. Few felt it wasn't just nice from interior and less beautiful of the remaining. While some did feel it was too soon it was voted out as it had many beautiful interior sections with paintings and ballroom etc.

wavesurf: "i really don't like the interiors of this"

anukriti2409: "What a pity that Arendelle château was voted out, it has such beautiful paintings, and hallway and rooms, and ballroom"

laylastepford: "^ I feel the same. Arendelle château was beautiful with many nice rooms. "

8. Evil Queen's château from Snow White and Seven Dwarfs:
fans strongly felt that it's interior were rather shady and filled with cold, dark dungeons in the basement. The cellar was dusty and while we saw outside of castle, there were hardly glimpses of its interior shown. Interesting point to note here, though this château is also of stones but Sleeping Beauty château felt plus dark and cold than this to many fans.

dancing_dear: "we don't see much of the inside only the queens dusty evil dungeon. It is dusty, has a cellar for brewing potions so surprised other castles have gone before this!"

laylastepford: " I have never liked the way this château looks. I don't like the construction of it at all and it has a much darker and colder feel to me than King Stefan and Queen Leah's Castle. "

tiffany88: "We've never saw the interior of this castle. Nothing special, not memorable at all."

wavesurf: "We saw the outside of this place...mainly the courtyard area. Not much going on, except the "wishing well."

anukriti2409: "i like the gardens with a well, the porch, the balcony of the Snow White's castle"

7. Corona's château from Tangled:
fans felt it was just a generic representation of a château and never got to see anything in detail. It also made a difference as to what place it was situated in.

 collage credit to tiffany88

AudreyFreak: "Standard and in an overcrowded city."

anukriti2409: "very generic...and we don't get to see much of inside as well"

wavesurf: "what Anukriti said"

laylastepford: "Not a fan of these kinds of construction."

ntmfan0707: "Nothing special"

6. The Atlantica City château from TLM:
fans appreciated its outside but felt inside was again dark, cold and empty. People felt uncomfortable with its structure and were not much swayed with its development. Overall, this château was voted out in lieu of other castles being much plus beautiful and developed.
However, some fans appreciated that the construction reflected that it was for the purpose of merpeople and not humans, and therefore quite unique and looked magnificent.

tiffany88: "I'm not a fan of this under water castle. the inside of it isn't nice either. Compared to the others this one is really not fancy and spectacular. Too dark, cold and somehow not really comfortable. "

Anii147 "The area is not as developed as the others. We do not really see the inside of it, and all of the others look plus interesting inside and out."

Night_Hunter: "It's not the best but it's still pretty good. :D"

Sparklefairy375: "I don't like the structure of the castle. I even heard that the castle's shape give a subliminal sexual message."

anukriti2409: "As beautiful it looks from outside, with bright illumination effect, it looks blank and colorless from inside."

laylastepford: "I l’amour the Atlantica château as it always stood out in my brain as very magnificent. I think the purple dressing room is gorgeous and I l’amour all of the shapes and architecture in the construction all around. It's a château for merpeople not humans so I definitely expect it to reflect that with it's construction and colors."

wavesurf: "i wasn't impressed with the insides"

5. Emperor's château from Mulan:
As much as fans loved the outside of this château with big staircase and structure and balcony, people were torn that they didn't really get o see inside. What was shown was kind of boring and plain, and a bit too simple. So this was voted next

PrincessAyeka12: "Its nothing special"

tiffany88: " Compared to the others this one is a little bit too simple. Thought I l’amour the huge stairs and balconies all over the palace. "

Sparklefairy375: "I feel confuse to pick one, know that all of them are beautiful. But I am going to choose this one. I actually like how they still keep Chinese culture in the architecture but, sometimes it was kinda plain to me. "

laylastepford: "Love the outside but l’amour the inside of all of the other ones more."

anukriti2409: "a little boring and uninteresting, we see quite less of this château actually"

4. Beast's château from BATB:
The ugly gargoyles, the isolated location, the scary figurines and its cold, dark atmosphere all contributed in making fans choose this as their suivant option. fans appreciated that it has certain beautiful parts like ballroom and bibliothèque but apart from that, it looked grotesque because of the spell changing its outside look. Also, being under dark spell contributed to its selection.

made par me, inspired from collage par tiffany88
made par me, inspired from collage par tiffany88

pureheroine: "I like them all but the inside of the other castles are so beautiful while the rooms in the beast château aren't that great."

tiffany88: "Compared to the others this one is not that special, only the ballroom and the giant bibliothèque looks great in it.
Most of the château is full with empty spaces, big rooms without furnitures and other decorations and the west wing is completely destroyed so, this one has to go now. "

Diamela: "i like that the others are suivant to the towns and not isolated like Beast castle"

MaidofOrleans: "It is beautiful, but in a grotesque way. It is falling into ruin and has terrifying gargoyles and carvings on the roofs and walls. I prefer the other three castles."

dancing_dear: "It is very isolated and quite dark and scary until the spell breaks."

AudreyFreak: "No! The Beast has the nicest château besides Charming's!"

anukriti2409: "^ i so agree(with AudreyFreak), the ballroom, kitchen, hallways, library, terrace, snow-covered grounds, the gardens, belle's bedroom, dining table, fireplace...everything is so beautifully detailed!"

wavesurf: "^I'm so surprised Adam's château is gone! I thought it would be one of the haut, retour au début two, gargoyles notwithstanding .... "

THE haut, retour au début THREE
fans found it hard to choose from remaining options as there was little to differentiate and all options has something ou the other beautiful to see and appreciate. Some fans were surprised to find Beast's château gone so early.

3. Prince Charming's château from Cinderella:
fans really appreciated the grounds with beautiful gardens, cascading fountains and shimmering water with bridge under moonlight. They appreciated it had a magical feel to it, but in comparison to others, they felt inside was a little too monotonous, gloomy and gave off a cold feeling.

 collage credit to tiffany88
collage credit to tiffany88

wavesurf: "As for Prince Charming's castle, there's carpet on the inside... and drapes, and marble flooring. But that's it. I definitely like the "grounds" though! There are glades, and fountains of cascading water, and the moonlight shimmer on the bridge.... and the setup is "magical" because of all of the tranquility around. But the château itself leaves much to be desired. "

tiffany88: "It's really hard to pick now, but maybe the other two is a little bit plus special, detailed and unique. I l’amour the style and feeling in Cinderella's château but sometimes a little too cold and empty. "

anukriti2409: "It is too sophisticated, polished and stately for my taste. It sometimes gives me a cold feeling. I loved the gardens though, with moonlight and bridge over stream and beautiful fountain. But insides were too monotonous and gloomy for me. "

NCISLuverjk93 : "too grand yet plain."

Sparklefairy375:" I admit, the rooms in the château are beautiful, but from the outside the structure of the château is too plain."

Anaswill: "i don't like this one"

2. Agrabah's château from Aladdin:
fans truly appreciated its unique beauty and mostly it Lost to Eric's château for being "not as beautiful as Eric's castle". some fans pointed out few details like top-heavy structure, too many columns, large and empty rooms but other than that they really loved its unique things like Jasmine's bedroom, large balcony, lovely fontaine etc.

 collage credit to tiffany88
collage credit to tiffany88

wavesurf: "I don't exactly like the huge columns of Agrabah's castle. I was not impressed with Jasmine's bedroom alone. The éléphant trône looks weird, as the sultan is sitting in his lap. And while the gardens are kind of nice, the whole château just sits back from a very busy town area. And it's located in the Middle East, where it is hot! "

laylastepford: "I really l’amour the courtyard, balcony and Jasmine's room in Agrabah's castle. I also really like the way the red and bluish couleurs all blend together in the art inside as I think it's really beautiful. However I adore just about everything about Eric's castle."

tiffany88: "the Agrabah palace in the other hand, unique, charming, detailed and put together nicely. I l’amour the shape of the towers and the whole palace's mood. I l’amour the interior in the rooms, especially that all of the rooms represents their owners. Jasmine's bird cage bedroom, the Sultan's toy room and Jafar's red private room.
And my personal favorite, after Jasmine's gorgeous bedroom, is the garden with the enormous marble fontaine <333 Seriously, that's the most beautiful thing in the animated world XD "

MaidofOrleans: "I picked this not because I dislike Agrabah's château but because I ADORE Eric's castle. This is so hard to pick. This one (Agrabah's castle) looks a little haut, retour au début heavy though..."

dancing_dear: "Its absolutely gorgeous and spacious but Eric's château is right on the ocean and toi can't beat a plage front view."

NCISLuverjk93: "it's nice but Eric's is my favoritei"

anukriti2409: "I l’amour the outside structure of Agrabah's château and the gardens. Inside, it is again too royal and stately. It definitely has its wow elements like Jasmine's bedroom with a super huge balcony where i could imagine looking upto moon. I don't really like the trône room much, too huge and too empty."

AND THE WINNER IS...

1. Eric's château from TLM:
And the Eric's won the hearts of fans with its undeniable charm and beauty, its stunning location and amazing touches throughout the castle.

 collage credit to tiffany88
collage credit to tiffany88

wavesurf: "I would like to be near the ocean. And I adore the dining room with its floor to ceiling windows which let in a lot of natural light. Everywhere, from the bathroom to the bedroom, to the dining room and hallway has the ocean motif. It's beautiful, and I l’amour beaches, and the smell of the ocean. I adored the floor to ceiling windows in the dining room to watch the sunset, and the cuteness of the guest room where Ariel sleeps. "

laylastepford: "I adore just about everything about Eric's castle. I l’amour all of the artwork and plant life used in the decoration throughout. I l’amour the global, ensemble architecture of Eric's château plus than Agrabah's. I l’amour that it's right on the ocean and they can watch the sunset with dinner. How serene and peaceful! I also l’amour the big balcony that Eric plays with Max on, especially at night underneath the stars. It's gorgeous! I l’amour that it has such a huge cuisine and I adore the unique bathroom that is the most perfect bubble bath looking tub! <3 I also l’amour the many windows which allows for much plus natural light to come in. I also l’amour that it's on the edge of the town so they are just a quick ride away from any town entertainment. :)"

MaidofOrleans: "I ADORE Eric's castle. The seaside setting is just so perfect! What a beautiful place to live."

dancing_dear: "Eric's château is right on the ocean and toi can't beat a plage front view.."

anukriti2409: "I simply l’amour Eric's castle, the location right suivant to a lovely beach, the rooms have that beautiful warm light, not overly royal and have elegance yet personal at the same time. The small balconies, such a unique bathroom, i l’amour it <3 "

Many people think Mulan (the movie) has the best citations of all princess movie, that and the fact it is Mulan mois gave me idea to start such countdown. In the beginning, there were about 70 citations I thought are important , I included about 40 in countdown and here are the best ten.

Out of these ten:
2 are from Shang
2 are from Fa Zhou
2 are from Emperor
and 4 are from Mulan

10. "Ping, toi are the craziest man I've ever met, and for that I owe toi my life. From now on, toi have my trust" by Shang

Aladdin: So here we were, early 1990's, and the Disney Renaissance was at its peek. The studios had produced two of the highest grossing animated films of all time and still were pushing on. However the team suffered a tragic loss with the death of lyricist Howard Ashman who surprisingly had had a large amount of creative input on the précédant two films. (He named Ariel) It was even his idea to make the suivant Disney animated feature, Aladdin released on November 25, 1992. However, much to the disappointment of many, this would be the last picture to showcase a royal fairytale princess for the...

#14 Merida

“I’m a boy with long hair.”
“I’m a boy with long hair.”

Merida is one of the most hideous animated females ever. She just screams ugly, unfeminine and manliness. She is the epitome of what’s wrong with strong female characters (or just females in general). Her head shape is hideous and makes her look...

Hi!
I'm a huge fan of Rick Riordan's books, and I thought this would be an interesting idea! First of all, let me explain toi a bit: there are 20 cabins in Camp Half-Blood, each of them belongs to a god, and their demigod children live in their respective cabins. For example, Percy Jackson belongs in cabine #3 because he's a son of Poseidon, and Annabeth Chase belongs to cabine #6 since her mother is Athena. The 20 cabins are:
#1 – Zeus (king of the gods)
#2 – Hera (goddess of marriage and fidelity)
#3 – Poseidon (god of the sea)
#4 – Demeter (goddess of nature)
#5 – Ares (god of war)
#6 –...

A fair number of Disney Princess DVDs were released in the early 2000's, and the series I'm most familiar with is the Princess Party line. To my knowledge, there were just two installments, both of which I apparently still own! These DVDs feature Disney Princess-related games, activities, and stories with the goal of helping to create a memorable DP-themed party for young girls. I first rented this disk from Blockbuster about a decade il y a just to check out the games, so I have a bit of nostalgia for it. But how well does the content on the DVD hold up? Let's take a look!

Look down there! It's a song analysis!
Greetings! I'm ApplesauceDoctr, and today I present my fourth song analysis. This time though (somewhat similar to my "Reflection" analysis), I'll be comparing two songs -- "So This is Love" and "Dancing on a Cloud," both of which come from Disney's Cinderella. "Dancing on a Cloud," the deleted song, was written with the intent of doing what "So This is Love" later did -- to montrer how Cendrillon and the prince fell in l’amour with each other at the ball. While the two seem similar at first, further examination shows that the two are a bit different, and it gives a better understanding of why "Dancing...
