It's a few minutes past midnight here, but I felt like écriture this since the liste has been changing a bit since last time and also this time I'll add in Anna and Elsa too. Also this will be both a ranking of their chant voices aswell as their speaking voices, however as I am a bit lazy I won't add liens in this article, but toi can always chercher up the songs and a few scenes on YouTube, use the chercher word "disney songs swedish" and there toi go
And for the same reason I won't add in pictures either, but I hope you'll like this article despite that

Singing voices:

13. Tiana
Don't get me wrong, I do think Tiana has a lovely chant voice, but it's a slight bit annoying to listen to and it also doesn't really live up to the original

12. Cinderella
Now I can't remember the exact date, but sometime last an Cinderella's voice actress (Alice Babs) passed away at the age of around 90 ou something, anyway this dub is very old, it's from 1967 which is only 17 years after the movie was released (sadly the original dub is lost), anyway once again she has a lovely voice, but it can't compete with the original

11. Mulan
Once again lovely voice, but it's a bit too girly for Mulan, however I find her voice to be slightly plus emotional than the original, but still I prefer the original version

10. Jasmine
The actress behind Jasmine's voice (Myrra Malmberg) is kind of our version of Jodi Benson, basically she has voiced many animated characters, other than jasmin she has also done the voice to Ariel in the two sequels, Meg from Hercules and Kayely from Quest Of Camelot just to name a few, anyway I think her voice is lovely, but like the précédant ones a slight bit annoying, but I prefer this one over the original

9. Pocahontas
Another amazing voice, this actress (Helené Lundström) also did the voice of Ariel in The Little Mermaid TV-series, anyway this one is also better than the original

8. Rapunzel
This one reminds me a bit of the original, it's almost as good as the original although I prefer the original, anyway fantastic voice, but again has a few moments where she can sound a little annoying

7. Snow White (original 1938 dub)
This is the only original dub of the princess films to actually be quite easy to find, at the current moment there are 4 songs avaliable I think, anyway this one reminds me of the original version, but to be honest this one isn't as good, but still it's a version that has grown on me, for a while I found this version to be very annoying, but now I've realised that it isn't that bad, it's the poor audio that makes the voice sound weird

6. Ariel
I l’amour this one very much, like I stated in a précédant article this voice actress not only did the voice of Ariel in Swedish, but also in Norwegian (she's from Norway) and Danish (only the chant voice), the swedish version is probably the weakest one of the three, but it's still an amazing version

5. Anna
My haut, retour au début 5 are almost tied so these can change at any time, anyway Anna's voice reminds me a bit of Rapunzel's swedish voice, but there's an explanation behind it, the actrices behind the two voices happen to be sisters, but for some reason I prefer Anna's voice a little more, probably it's because I think this one lives up to the original and because I find her voice slightly less annoying

4. Elsa
This is one of few lists of mine where I have Elsa higher than Anna, but anyway this voice is way better than the original, Suits – Avocats sur Mesure the character plus and is far less annoying

3. Belle
Another voice that I find much better than the original and this voice is the reason why Belle (Reprise) is one of my favori DP Songs, anyway not only is her voice beautiful, but it also Suits – Avocats sur Mesure the character really well, this actress (Sofia Källgren) also did the voice of Odette from The cygne Princess (only in the 1st movie though)

2. Aurora
This one is also better than the original, very beautiful voice that Suits – Avocats sur Mesure the character perfectly

1. Snow White (1982 redub)
As I mentioned in my last wallpost I watched Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs in Swedish for the first time in 3 years and I instantly fell in l’amour with Snow White's chant voice, it's maybe a little too old for the character, but it's such a lovely voice that I could listen to all day. My only complaint is that sometimes she sings a little too fast (most notably during I'm Wishing), but at the same time I can understand why because she holds longer notes than the original which I find sort of impressive. Also she doesn't have a very clear voice so I've only managed to learn the lyrics to two of the songs she sings (I'm Wishing and Someday My Prince Will Come)
This voice actress (Anna Lotta Larsson) also did the voice of Vixie from The renard and The Hound and if toi want look for a scene from the movie with Vixie in it and you'll notice that she sounds exactly like Snow White, but that's not all, she also did the voice to Nani from Lilo & Stitch

Speaking voices:

13. Tiana
For pretty much the same reasons that I stated on the chant voice department, lovely voice, but also a bit annoying

12. Mulan
Once again the voice is a little too girly for Mulan, but still a lovely voice

11. Pocahontas
Here I prefer the original, her speaking voice is a bit too soft for Pocahontas, but like I a dit before great voice

10. Jasmine
I'm not sure if I prefer this one ou the original, but for now I'll say that I prefer the original, but this version is great too, a bit too soft to suit Jasmine, but still a fantastic version

9. Anna
Her chant voice is to be honest better, the speaking voice is great too, but a bit plus annoying

8. Rapunzel
Just a slight bit better than Anna, again you'll notice that these two sounds similar to each other, but this one is a little less annoying I guess

7. Elsa
Nowhere near as good as her chant voice, but still great, I don't know why I don't like it as much as her chant voice though

6. Cinderella
Much better than her chant voice, it's such a soft and lovely voice, a little old fashioned, but considering the fact that this dub is from 1967 it's totally understandable

5. Ariel
This voice is just amazing, so well suited for the character and just lovely to listen to everytime

4. Snow White (1938 dub)
This one along with the original are the most adorable voices I've ever heard, but this one is just slightly plus adorable, it can be a slight bit annoying at times, but global, ensemble very adorable voice :D

3. Aurora
Like the chant voice her speaking voice is amazing, a little plus annoying, but still beautiful and also quite emotional, maybe even plus so than the original

2. Belle
This voice is pretty much flawless, not at all annoying and it really Suits – Avocats sur Mesure the character, even plus so than the chant voice, but that's just me. Anyway lovely voice

1. Snow White (1982 redub)
Like I a dit in the chant voices part I watched this movie in Swedish for the first time in 3 years and I instantly fell in l’amour with Snow White's voice, even though in the speaking voice it wasn't actually until the following scene that I really started to l’amour her voice, in that scene her voice is actually even better than in the original version of the scene, much softer and also way plus emotional (too bad that particular scene is SO hard to find in Swedish on YouTube)
But like I also a dit in the chant voice part she speaks a little too fast in some scenes, but it doesn't bother me that much

On the eighth jour of Princess Walt Disney gave to me

Eight mice a-sewing

seven dwarves dancing
six sisters singing
five cursed friend

four braiding girls
three fairy spells
two lucky pals
and the wisdom of an old tree.

I guess I have to apologize...I did my best to create pages featuring the princesses as the sole centre of attraction, but with jasmin that is a little bit difficult because she is usually featured with Aladdin, rarely alone. I could have either found ou created a picture of jasmin if I really wanted to, but I really liked this one and it just seemed to fit her the best. So I made...

On the Third jour of Princess Walt Disney gave to me,

Three fairy spells,
Two lucky pals,
and the wisdom of an old tree.

Another day, another page for the calendar. And unlike the last one, this one was kind of a headache for me. Remember a while back when I asked toi which princess fits which months? Most of toi felt that Merida belongs into autumn because of her red hair. Thing is: I already had three princesses for autumn. In addition, I don't think that Rebelle is actually set in fall, I think it is either spring ou summer during the movie. So I hope that toi are not too disappointed that I ended...

On the seconde jour of Princess Walt Disney gave to me,
Two Lucky pals,
and the Wisdom of an old Tree

So as promised the seconde jour of goodies with a new page for the calendar. I will, btw, mettre en ligne all the calendar pages separately in the image section of the spot once my 12 days of princesses are done, and all of them have been revealed. I am pondering if I should also create a version which has all pages on one big sheet. If there is any interest in this, please comment. Also, if someone wants a different seize for the fonds d’écran then the three I am already offering, I am open for request. Speaking...

Out of the entire princess lineup, only three of them were the biggest part of my childhood. Cendrillon was sorta part of my childhood but mainly the Brandi Norwood version because I preferred that one over the animated version. And I’m not counting Rapunzel because her movie came out when I was almost an adult.

3. Mulan

A lot of toi might know that Mulan is my favori princess and she’s been number 1 on my liste for years. I was 5 years old when I watched her movie on tape and I remember being so in l’amour with her and the movie immediately. Mulan was one of the biggest feminist icones in my...

This is a movie I'm really not looking vers l'avant, vers l’avant to watching. I don't mind watching sequels because I used to l’amour them so much when I was a kid but Mulan is one of my all-time favori films ever and this sequel is like on a Maleficent level of ruining original characters.

Tonight's rewatch: Mulan 2
Last time watched: 2005-2006

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
I saw the commercial for this movie when I was 11 and I was excited because, again, Mulan is one of my all-time favori movies. I didn't actually watch the movie until I was 13 ou 14 because I was starting middle school when this...

I'm really looking vers l'avant, vers l’avant to watching this one. Mulan was one of my favori films growing up!

Tonight's rewatch: Mulan

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
I loved this movie when I was a kid! Mulan, both the movie and the character, was actually one of the reasons I became a feminist and why I l’amour badass women (kinda why I don't 100% blame the revival era for people hating princesses who find l’amour ou aren't "kickass"). I used to sing the songs all the time when I was a kid and I loved any merch I could get (which wasn't a lot). I still have my stuffed Cri-Kee that...

Hello everyone! This is the first of many articles soon to come and I hope toi enjoy lire this just as much as I did écriture it :)

For each article I will write about;

1. How much I enjoyed/disliked the movie as a child

2. How much I have forgotten

3. Princess (will she be higher on my liste ou lower?)

4. Movie (will the movie be higher on my liste ou lower?)

5. Rating

6. How much has my opinion changed?

7. Would I watch it again?

Tonight's rewatch: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Last time watched: 2001 (seriously, how can I consider myself a Disney Princess fan if I waited THIS LONG to watch this...

This review was originally posté months il y a but I deleted it because......I was gonna use it for a school assignment and I didn't wanna leave this up so my lecturer could chercher and accuse me of plagiarism. lmao

Anyway, I ended up not using it and I decided to put it back up.

So right off the bat, I have to say that this movie is very.....average. It honestly feels like a tv episode padded out with songs to make it feature length. Moana is a likable enough character, I can almost pinpoint exact moments where she's like précédant Disney female protagonists like Ariel, Pocahontas, Mulan and Rapunzel...
