Princesses Disney Article: Is the name Gaston, Gaston's last name?

As an adult, I viewed the name Gaston of Beauty and the Beast's villian, Gaston, as Gaston's last name. I only assume its his last name because 1)the triplet girls call him "Monsieur Gaston" which is basically saying "Mr. Gaston" in the opening song called "Belle" in the reprise that Belle sings par herself the line "Madame Gaston, his little wife?" Most of the time saying "Madame (name" would be like saying Mrs. Gaston. And there's the fact Gaston is a first name but it could also be a last name as well. The name of Phantom of the Opera's author.

Digoenes Interesting idea. Although it's weird how every one calls him by "Gaston," even Le Fou and the guys at the tavern. I think that like many animated characters, he just has one name (does Belle have a last name? Jasmine? Aladdin? Alice?) It seems to be a common trope in fairy tales/movies inspired by fairy tales for the characters to just have one name.

MadameLee With the exception of the live-action Cinderella, some people think Cinderella's last name might be Treamine in the animated movie. Alice's last name might be Liddel, since the girl Alice was based on (also named alice) family name was Liddel

324anna Wow, I had never thought of that. It may be true, although what Digoenes said about everyone -even Le Fou- calling him Gaston is true as well, so I guess it could be either way.

Why Rapunzel is one of my favori princesses

1 = Rapunzel makes the best out of living in a tower with her pet chameleon. She has no internet, no phone, nothing. Which is why I don't like it when people say she can do too many positive things, ou she has too many positive traits. Her step-mother probably taught them to her so that she wouldn't be bored everyday while she's stuck up there.

2 = Rapunzel doesn't rebel the first time. She listens to Mother Gothel, and stays put. When she see's Flynn, she doesn't welcome him in. And when she does knock him out, she's proud to tell Mother Gothel.

I already made one on chant so I thought I'd déplacer on to speaking..sooo yeah..This will probably be really short since I can't say much other than "ew toi suck" ou "you're pretty cool", so I decided to just do descriptions under the pictures because it's so much easier that way. Oh yeah and I'm not including Anna/Elsa since sorting out eleven voices is hard enough and I can't figure out where I'd place them. If I had to choose Anna would probably be around seventh and Elsa would be around tenth. Tell me what your liste would look like in the comments! Thanks for lire :)
