I have seen every Disney princess movie known to exist (the sequels are an exception), and during all my time of watching I noticed a couple patterns.
For instance, a princess`s hair color most often tells what kind of person they are:

Brown- the artistic type, who often gets Lost in livres and has a number of hobbies.
·Belle
·Repunzel

Blonde- with Elsa and Repunzel as the only exceptions, these princesses are an icone of beauty and nothing else. Their only goal in life is to marry Prince charming and are the reason plus feminist icons, like Merida from Rebelle need to be created.
·Cinderella
·Aurora

Dark brown/black- with Snow White as the only exception, these are powerful, rebellious women with intent on protecting not only their true l’amour but plus their family. They would even sacrifice their l’amour for the protection of their family. They are hard workers and would stop at nothing to finish what they started.
·Pocahontas
·Jasmine
·Tiana
·Mulan

Red- They are rebellious, adventurous, but still have hint, if not a lot of quirkiness to them. They are interesting characters and a ton of fun.
·Merida
·Ariel

However, whatever color toi have there are always cliches.

#1: Orphans. This cliche is not just referring to the main character, in every story there will be that one guy that either has no backstory, ou they do and it`s a tragic one.

#2: Magic! Now don't get me wrong, that stuff is awesome. Although for Disney it has been severely overused. It seems to me like the writers were too lazy to make an actual solution to the hero`s conflict. "Oh, I know how to solve this problem--POOF!"

#3: True wuvs kiss......nomnomnom. Yeah... only the films like Mulan and Pocahontas have never had the s’embrasser scene. I think we can skip over this one but seriously, toi princesses need to Slowwww down. Geez.

#4: The animal companion. Yes, little children prefer chiots over bébés and toi animators know that. Honestly though, every movie animaux have been there. I would be less exasperated if toi took the time to not make them all have the same personality.

#5: Evil has no backstory--`tis a fact my good sir, of course we never actually took time to talk to the guy.... . Yup. Every villain is pretty much evil because ...they're evil. I think the story would be nicer if toi explains where in heck the antagonist came from.

#6: Princesses have no flaws. Yes, the Beauty and the Beast a dit that Belle was strange, but the story makes it seem like she is in fact, flawless. Apparently it is against Disney way to make the protagonist plus of a human and less of a... uh ... princess. I think I just answered my own question there.

#7: Where did the dragons go? It`s hard to believe but barely any Disney princess stories have dragons. (Score one for Shrek) I still don`t know why-- Hold on, I have just been told that Maleficent and Mushu definitely are dragons. Well....I stand corrected.... still, there is a definite lack of dragons, and having the dragons not eat people is a travesty! >: )

#8: The male counterparts (princes) are either stupid ou lack substance. There is also the stereotype that men are liars (Aladdin) and women are jealous (the ugly stepsisters) continues to spread throughout each movie.

#9:Talking Animal Sidekick= only entertaining character. This is true for everything; characters like Mushu and Eago are the best form of comic relief-- and the only good type may I add. Yes, Maximus and Pascel were awesome, but come on, if they could speak and were voice acted par a well-known actors the movie would`'ve been hilarious.

#10: A group of talking sidekicks= evil twins!
·Timon and Pumba (The Lion King)
·Pain and Panic (Hercules)
·Gargoyles (The Hunchback of Notre Dame)

Do these sound familiar? Each of these have the same personalities.

That`s it. I actually did this for research for a movie I`d like to make for my college portfolio. It is supposed to make fun of the cliches in Disney movies. I hope toi liked this.

Moo.

The countdown is over and the results are in! DP club fans have voted for their favori landscapes in DP movies. Surprisingly fans were plus divided for choosing the lower ranks and had almost a united say about the haut, retour au début ones. Here are the results. Hope you'll enjoy.

11. Princess and The Frog
I was a little surprised to see it leave first. I know its not much liked around here but I thought having Cendrillon and Snow White and Seven Dwarfs around, this might just skip being eliminated first. Well, I was wrong. fans didn't really find the bayou magical and swamps looked garish and dull to them....

Hi everyone!

So I thought that since toi often hear a lot of negative things about the Disney Princesses from people on fanpop that it'd be cool to hear some positive opinions that other Fanpoppers hold.

Maybe it could change a view of yours. Who knows?

Why We l’amour Snow White:

MaidofOrleans:
I l’amour Snow White for her unending optimism. I would argue that she is the most optimistic of the DPs, and I l’amour her message that "you're the one who can fill the world with sunshine." It's very true and is applicable to every situation in life. I also l’amour how she bosses around the dwarfs. It's super...

5. Mulan's green, black, and brown armor

I was so sad that this was the first outfit to be eliminated. I think Mulan looks so badass in it! However, I can see why users didn't like it since it is an outfit that was made to be functional, not fashionable.

this is not supposed to flatter Mulan, but still a very boring dress if were to wear separately. ~anukriti2409
Well it's a man's armor so...it...

Here's how fans have chosen the favori wedding dress among Disney princesses.

9. Mulan's Official Wedding Dress (with Prince Jeeki):
In initial round, it was tied with Jasmine's and her wedding dress with Shang. It was surprising to note that while it was a tie, there were hardly any commentaires for Jasmine's dress.
Finally the tiebreaker results determined the first elimination with Mulan's official wedding dress. Most fans were put off with its unusually big headgear.

SarahCorine: It's definitely cute. I like the colors. But she looks cuter in her other wedding dress. And the hat does...

Okay so I really want to do this, but I really am not going to explain why. Because, well, I believe there is plus to liking a princess than just looks. But other than that, I just feel like I'm just going to keep saying "oh she's so pretty" ou "I just never found her attractive" over and over again in different words. So, I'm sorry for not leaving a description.

I probably should've put this article on the fanpop fan club, but this club has been my accueil for years. It's where I've made a lot of memories, have been part of a community that talks about plus than just Disney Princesses, has felt like a family, and has helped me A LOT through the years. So this article being published anywhere else on fanpop won't do any justice if it's not on this club. So without further delay, here is what being on fanpop has meant to me.

First of all, it's only fair to say that I did NOT get off to a good start when I first came here. It's embarrassing to talk about...

Nothing on Earth Could Ever Come Between Them!
Hi everyone, for those of toi who don't know, both films share a common theme with each other that I notice! Aside from being the most highest grossing films ever, here's my review base on my observations.

Titanic

In case toi guys might be watching the movie, during the scene where Jack and Fabrizio are playing poker just moments before the ship takes off. The 2 characters to whom they challenge are 2 Swedes name Olaf and Sven, when I watch this scene for the first time in many years. I keep thinking that the 2 Swedes are going to transform into a snowman and reindeer respectively!
The music...
