I have seen every Disney princess movie known to exist (the sequels are an exception), and during all my time of watching I noticed a couple patterns.
For instance, a princess`s hair color most often tells what kind of person they are:

Brown- the artistic type, who often gets Lost in livres and has a number of hobbies.
·Belle
·Repunzel

Blonde- with Elsa and Repunzel as the only exceptions, these princesses are an icone of beauty and nothing else. Their only goal in life is to marry Prince charming and are the reason plus feminist icons, like Merida from Rebelle need to be created.
·Cinderella
·Aurora

Dark brown/black- with Snow White as the only exception, these are powerful, rebellious women with intent on protecting not only their true l’amour but plus their family. They would even sacrifice their l’amour for the protection of their family. They are hard workers and would stop at nothing to finish what they started.
·Pocahontas
·Jasmine
·Tiana
·Mulan

Red- They are rebellious, adventurous, but still have hint, if not a lot of quirkiness to them. They are interesting characters and a ton of fun.
·Merida
·Ariel

However, whatever color toi have there are always cliches.

#1: Orphans. This cliche is not just referring to the main character, in every story there will be that one guy that either has no backstory, ou they do and it`s a tragic one.

#2: Magic! Now don't get me wrong, that stuff is awesome. Although for Disney it has been severely overused. It seems to me like the writers were too lazy to make an actual solution to the hero`s conflict. "Oh, I know how to solve this problem--POOF!"

#3: True wuvs kiss......nomnomnom. Yeah... only the films like Mulan and Pocahontas have never had the s’embrasser scene. I think we can skip over this one but seriously, toi princesses need to Slowwww down. Geez.

#4: The animal companion. Yes, little children prefer chiots over bébés and toi animators know that. Honestly though, every movie animaux have been there. I would be less exasperated if toi took the time to not make them all have the same personality.

#5: Evil has no backstory--`tis a fact my good sir, of course we never actually took time to talk to the guy.... . Yup. Every villain is pretty much evil because ...they're evil. I think the story would be nicer if toi explains where in heck the antagonist came from.

#6: Princesses have no flaws. Yes, the Beauty and the Beast a dit that Belle was strange, but the story makes it seem like she is in fact, flawless. Apparently it is against Disney way to make the protagonist plus of a human and less of a... uh ... princess. I think I just answered my own question there.

#7: Where did the dragons go? It`s hard to believe but barely any Disney princess stories have dragons. (Score one for Shrek) I still don`t know why-- Hold on, I have just been told that Maleficent and Mushu definitely are dragons. Well....I stand corrected.... still, there is a definite lack of dragons, and having the dragons not eat people is a travesty! >: )

#8: The male counterparts (princes) are either stupid ou lack substance. There is also the stereotype that men are liars (Aladdin) and women are jealous (the ugly stepsisters) continues to spread throughout each movie.

#9:Talking Animal Sidekick= only entertaining character. This is true for everything; characters like Mushu and Eago are the best form of comic relief-- and the only good type may I add. Yes, Maximus and Pascel were awesome, but come on, if they could speak and were voice acted par a well-known actors the movie would`'ve been hilarious.

#10: A group of talking sidekicks= evil twins!
·Timon and Pumba (The Lion King)
·Pain and Panic (Hercules)
·Gargoyles (The Hunchback of Notre Dame)

Do these sound familiar? Each of these have the same personalities.

That`s it. I actually did this for research for a movie I`d like to make for my college portfolio. It is supposed to make fun of the cliches in Disney movies. I hope toi liked this.

Moo.

I dedicate this poem to all of you, who like myself, still believe. I l’amour toi all!

We’ve been fascinated with them since we were little girls.
Back when we wore our hair in ribbons and curls.
We longed to go to a fancy ball and wear a pretty dress.
Now our lives are full of worry and stress.
All we wanted was to be like the Princess in our favori story,
A place filled with nothing but glory.
A place where true loves Kiss can break the most evil of spells.
A land of happily ever afters and wedding bells.
Where the glass slipper always fits,
And a handsome Prince who finds it easy to commit.
It’s...

Sleeping Beauty was released on January 29, 1959 and was made due to the overwhelming success of Cinderella. Therefor the Disney Studios got right to work revisiting the fairy tale formula and developing a new version of the classic story. It was decided early on that this film would have to surpass its predecessing fairy tale films.

Snow White

■In The Muppets at Walt Disney World, Snow White was the Disney character who had the biggest part in the story, besides Mickey Mouse.

■In 1988, Snow White was awarded a étoile, star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

■Snow White is the first Disney Princess, being the main character of Disney's...

Another fun idea that came to mind, we take two princesses see just how much they have in common. I wanted Pocahontas and Rapunzel first because Punz is a pretty good balance of qualities found in the classic, renaissance and revival princesses so it's easy to do this with her. Plus, it's a very common misconception that Poca is just this peaceful spiritual wise soul, and that's only half of her personality. What better way to debunk that than to compare her to the one of the bubbliest princesses

At first glance because Pocahontas looks mature and Rapunzel looks youthful, some would assume...

I was in a mood to do a ranking list, so I thought I should make a liste of my haut, retour au début 10 scenes from DP movies. So, here we go.

10. Cendrillon - waking up
Have toi ever seen anyone waking up so gorgeous. Her elegance is to die for. She's looking adorable and elegant all at once, with her piggytails. I l’amour how she flips over and puts oreiller overhead, not wanting to wake up from the dream. And isn't she cute, not telling the dream to the birdie friends. I like how she was so much in the moment, holding a pillow. And then, old killjoy strikes, haha! I l’amour how she gave us a peak into her other side,...

So I really, really, really l’amour the Disney Princess dance sequences, particularly with the waltz, as I find it to be so sweepingly romantic! The animation of the dance, the way the dress twirls with the women, the romantic and powerful score in the background, the gorgeous scenery in the background and the usually gorgeous dress worn par the princess... I l’amour everything about these sequences! That's not to mention the montrer of romantic l’amour developing. I am very much an old soul so I really l’amour the process of "courting" which often included the man taking the woman out to dance ou dancing...
