So, I made my "Favorite DP List". I know it's a mess but I'm not good at écriture these kind of stuff and my liste changes quite often. Hope toi won't find it boring.
This are just my opinions and everyone is free to agree ou disagree with them.
BTW I know that the photos with the captions sound stupid, but I added them because this liste without photos would be even plus boring to you.
13.Snow White
Poor Snow! She made it to the bottom of my list. I'm not being biased. I like her I really do but I like the other princesses more.
I like that she is an optimist, cheerful, and cares about people and animaux and even that she is bossy but there are a lot of things about her that I don't quite like.
I have to say that I don't find her that interesting and relatable. I can't really relate to her except that I l’amour animaux too (and that I'm a bit bossy at times bossy, I guess).
I don't like how she seems to trust strangers plus than her friends. The woodland creatures tried to warn her and she still believed the old hag, even after the dwarfs told her that her stepmother could even be invisible and disguise as anything. She is really naive (but that doesn't mean that she isn't smart).
And I must say that she is quite stereotypical but knowing the time that the movie was released, she's quite good.
12.Aurora
It was hard to choose between her and Snow White but I think I like her a bit more. I like how she's elegant, graceful, a hopeless romantic, and a daydreamer. I also like how she act sassy and how much she listens to her aunts, even thought she doesn't know why they are protecting her.
But she doesn't have much screen time. One of the fées should've donné her the gift of screen time, seriously. :P Most of the times she is seen crying, dancing, chant and sleeping.
I can relate to her for being pessimistic but she could've tried to do something instead of crying.
Well, at least she didn't know that she was going to fall asleep for her whole life and Maleficent kind of hypnotized her.
11.Anna
Anna annoys me quite a lot. The only reason why I didn't put her in the 13th place is because she punched Hans, because she is adventurous and also not stereotypical.
I really like how determined she is and that nothing can scare her. It's good that she is optimistic but her optimism seems to get in her way and even make her "blind" at times. Most of the time she acts without thinking, making me think she isn't that smart and that all the other princesses are smarter than her. Actually, there are some moments that prove that she has a brain, but those moments are really few.
And the same thing as with Snow White, I don't really agree with the actions she makes. Plus, why did she want to invite all of Hans's brothers to live in Arendelle when her sister didn't even talk to her? And why did she leave him in charge and trust him?
10.Jasmine
Oh, Jasmine! How did toi end down here? She was close to my favori princess when I was little, but now I don't really like her. I always thought that she was a tough and Rebelle girl and loved her because she" fought" for herself and it seemed like she was a feminist but now I realized that she does nothing but complain.Talking gets toi nowhere Jasmine! Not to mention that Aladin had to save her many times. I can't believe I'm saying this but now I agree that she is spoiled. Her father tries to give her everything and she doesn't even respect him. It's like she doesn't even care about him. She runs away from her accueil without thinking that his father could be sad and worried about her.
And I don't know if it's just me but that moment when she's shown for the first time and she's talking with her father and then she "slaps" the water was always kinda painful for me. It's like she's slapping her father.
Disney, why make a Rebelle girl if her boyfriend is going to save her all the time?? I don't know why but I'm starting to dislike Aladin as a movie too (Aladdin himself is my least favori Disney Prince).
9.Ariel
People call her selfish and the worst role model. I call her the perfect representation of a teenager. Doesn't she do what all teenagers would do? As a teenager I can really relate to her now.
Yeah, she does make a lot of mistakes but that's what makes her plus relatable. The problem is that we're not sure if she learned anything from her mistakes. But she's the first Disney Princess who tried to fight against the villain and that's a plus for her.
I wish she could be higher in my liste but I simply like the other ones more.
8.Cinderella
I wish I could put her higher on my list, since the other two Classic Princesses are my least favorites.
I feel like Cendrillon is different from the other Classic princesses. Sure, she cleans and does stuff like that but that's because she's forced to. toi can clearly see that she hates doing that.
I also find her smarter that the other princesses.
She is the only Classic princesses that did contribute something about her happily ever after. Sure she had many Friends to help her but she also believed them and I really like how in the end she thinks and tells her Friends to call Bruno and scare Lucifer away so she could get the key.
She is also not afraid to argue with her Stepmother at times and she even speaks her own mind when she gets the courage.
I like the other princesses a bit more. That's why she is the 8th.
7.Pocahontas.
Pocahontas is a really great role model. I find her personality to be one of the bests and I appreciate how in the end she knew that she should stay there with her father and her people, even thought she loved John Smith.
What I dislike about her is how she needs a lot of help from Grandmother Willow because she can't make up her mind. But it happens to all of us at times.
6 and 5. Rapunzel and Merida
It's a tie between Rapunzel and Merida. They're both awesome in their own way.
Just like Ariel, these two represent teenagers really well.
I l’amour how both of them develop a lot I also l’amour Merida's relationship with her parents, especially her mother. Both of them want their freedom and both of them get it in their own way.
Some people consider Rapunzel a damsel in distress because she couldn't leave the tower on her own. She was scared, people! But when she found out that she could hit some with her frying pan and hide him in her closet, she knew that she was ready to leave. She is so selfless, that she wanted to make a deal with Mother Gothel just so she could save Flynn, even thought she a dit to her that she would fight for the rest of her life. And people still think she is a damsel in distress?
Some even say she is perfect because she has many hobbies. If toi were locked in a tower, what would toi do?
4.Tiana
I wish I could be a hard worker like she is. Except for that, Tiana and I have a lot of things in common, and that's why I l’amour her. I l’amour how she wants to make her dreams come true and then get married.
3 and 2. Belle and Mulan
Belle and Mulan are tied for me. I l’amour them both a lot. I relate to them a lot and l’amour their personalities.
Belle loves reading, is curious, wants adventure just like me. I have never agreed with people who say she has Stockholm Syndrome ou that she is a Mary sue (well maybe she is a little bit but it doesn't matter for me).
Mulan can't be what her family wants her to be, but in the end she shows that girls can go to war too, which would be really difficult to do in the time the movie is set in.
1.Elsa
A princess (Queen) who thinks toi can't marry a man toi just met, a princess who defends herself and is not afraid to montrer her "bad" side sometimes.
I l’amour her because she is so selfless. She's rather be called a "Monster" than do any harm to her sister ou anybody else. I can also relate to her a lot, even thought my family thinks I'm like Anna because I'm the little sister and I talk a bit plus that my elder sister.
Finally Disney made a princess relatable for those who have anxiety ou other issues like that. :)
Plus, I know this one doesn't count but she's voiced par Idina Menzel and that says a lot to me.

I feel that Sleeping Beauty is overlooked on this website. It is not the best Disney movie in my opinion but one of the best Disney films from the Walt era. There a def some flaws in the movie, like Aurora doesn't talk much for most of the movie and there is a reason, the backgrounds interfered w/ the characters so that's why there is no talking during parts of the movie. I do l’amour the backgrounds tho. This movie was ahead of its time. Considering how the technology wasn't as good back then there were still able to make these gorgeous backgrounds. Maleficent is another reason why this is one of the best Dinsey films from the Walt era. global, ensemble Sleeping Beauty is not the greatest Disney movie but its not the worst.
