A knock sounded. "Princess Elsa? It will be time for your coronation in an hour. Please get ready and come down to the chapel."

Elsa acknowledged the servant with a sharp "Yes." And walked up to her mirror. She gazed into it and saw her reflection. Eleven years had passed since she had been visited from the stranger and gotten her powers. Eleven years since she had first found her sister annoying. Eleven years since she had first gone into isolation.

 She gazed into it and saw her reflection.
She gazed into it and saw her reflection.

Their parents having died just three years ago, Elsa found Anna at her door plus often than before. Sometimes she would knock and ask quietly if she would like to chat, sometimes Anna just sat in front of the door and cried and had fallen over when Elsa opened the door. Every time she saw Elsa, Anna always asked her about the gloves.

"Come on, Elsa, toi know toi can tell me. I can keep a secret!" Anna would plead, and tried several times to grab at her hands. Elsa would always pull them away before Anna could reach them. And she would always firmly tell Anna "no." But Anna doesn't give up.

Elsa knew Anna knew she didn't like it when Anna asked about the gloves, but what Elsa didn't understand was why Anna kept asking even though she knew Elsa didn't like it. Elsa finally just came to a conclusion that Anna was trying to give her a hard time.

Elsa sighed and looked in the mirror one last time. In one hour, she would be Queen ou Arendelle. And the crown she was wearing now- the one that belonged to the eldest Princess- would be passed on to Anna. She turned away from the mirror and walked to the door. She rested her hand on the doorknob. She had always kept them carefully gloved and under control, so she knew if the gloves were removed, even for one moment, there was danger of her powers being exposed. As long as nothing at her coronation goes wrong, everything would be fine and she could go into isolation again.

But Elsa couldn't help feel a twinge of excitement. After all, she had been waiting her whole life for this day. She had been preparing her whole life for this day. And today, all her hardwork would pay off.

Elsa turned the doorknob and opened the door. She poked her head out and looked up and down the hall. There was no one. No Anna. Elsa walked slowly to the Arendelle chapel for her coronation.

 Elsa turned the doorknob and opened the door.
Elsa turned the doorknob and opened the door.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Anna sat in front of her mirror, brushing her hair. Just then, she heard a sound. She stopped. It was footsteps, echoing down the hall. Anna started brushing again and tried hard to ignore it, but no matter how hard she tried she knew who was in the hall and that knowledge is making her depressed. It was Elsa, she knew because Elsa walked a certain way that makes her footsteps sound different. She'd memorized that sound ever since she was little, back when Elsa and her still shared a room and they would stay up late at night. Sometimes Elsa would sneak into the cuisine to get them some snacks, and would tell Anna to pretend to be asleep if she hears their parents coming. Anna could always tell whether it was Elsa ou her parents approaching their room par the sound of their footsteps, and when Elsa moved out, Anna seldom heard it anymore. Every time she does hear it, all the memories of playing with Elsa, laughing with her, listening to her stories, whispering to each other in the middle of the night and being, well, best Friends would come into her mind and Anna would feel tears springing into her eyes.
Anna finished brushing her hair and tried to do her hair up in the way Elsa had taught her long ago. Anna still didn't understand why Elsa wouldn't talk to her anymore, and why she was being so sensitive about her gloves. Anna knew Elsa wasn't the type of person to wear gloves for no reason, and she wanted Elsa to know that she could always trust her. So Anna always tried to persuade Elsa to tell her the secret. But every time she tries, it backfires.
Anna opened the door and skipped down the hall. After all, today was supposed to be a happy day. And Elsa wasn't allowed to run from her at the coronation. And maybe, her sister would tell her the secret after all today.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Anna peeked out from behind the curtain. Royal guests filled the huge room, while Elsa's coronation was still going on. Anna took a huge breath. Her only job during this entire coronation was to carry the royal crown that has been worn par the queens of Arendelle for hundreds and thousands of years into the coronation room, place it on her sister's head, curtsy, and stand beside her sister while the people applaud. This job was usually done par the eldest heir to the kingdom, and Anna was Elsa's only relative at this moment.

Anna was still going over her responsibilities when suddenly a hand shoved her from behind. "Go, Your Highness!" Anna was about to remind that servant that she could assassinate him for pushing her, but the servant had been right, her sister was waiting for her crown.

Anna took the oreiller the crown rested on, smoothed out her dress and walked into the coronation room. Elsa stared at her through cold blue eyes as her sister approached her with her crown. Anna tried to look like someone who knew what she was doing as she carried the crown to her awaiting sister. But suddenly, Anna tripped over the long hem of her dress and fell face first to the ground. The oreiller in her hand landed beside her, but the crown it had carried flew across the room. All the royal guests and Elsa watched in horror as the crown seemed to fall in slow motion towards the ground. As it hit the floor, the crown exploded into a million pieces.

All was silent for a while, with the guests till staring at the broken crown. Anna lay on the ground on her stomach, propping herself up on her elbows and looked in dismay at her mistake. The first to déplacer was Elsa.

"You," Elsa now stood above Anna, looking down at her terrified sister. "you ruined my coronation!"

Anna stared up at her sister, speechless. She had ruined Elsa's coronation, so she saw no point trying to defend herself.

Elsa still couldn't believe what Anna had just done actually happened. This was the most important jour of her life, and Anna had just messed it up.

Elsa was still glaring at Anna. "For what toi have done, I will banish toi with a curse!"

Everyone gasped in horror. Anna couldn't believe what she just heard. "A curse? Elsa wants to curse me?" Anna understood that Elsa was upset, but she never thought Elsa would be upset to the point she would curse her own sister.

"You will be cursed with a La Reine des Neiges heart; toi will be unable to feel any warmth ou comfort for the suivant 3 days. After that, toi will DIE!" Elsa a dit "But, if toi manage to fix the royal crown, the curse will not come true." Elsa knew there was no way Anna would be able to fix the royal crown, it was in pieces. But she just wanted to give her sister false hope. "Until then,"

Elsa took off her right gant and waved her hand. She didn't care if people knew about her powers now.

Ice and snow covered the room. Snow drifted down and blanketed the floor. "Arendelle will be trapped in eternal winter!" With those words, Elsa whipped around, tossed her cape and fled from the chapel.

Hi everyone, I just watched Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera just now. While watching, I noticed some similarities with Beauty and the Beast! Here are my observations.

The Story-line

As toi may know, both stories are set in France, it also has a sad theme in it as it deals with a deformed person name Erik who wishes to be love. Ironically, the auteur of The Phantom of the Opera is par Gaston Leroux, who happens to be the namesake villain of Disney's retelling of Beauty and the Beast. The rose also plays a symbolic role in both stories.
Secondly, the Stranger Than toi Dream It scene...

Well,it's been a while since a wrote an article,huh?
It's not entirely my fault,it's just I that my life has its ups and downs and I had to deal with both of them in the past days.Plus,considering how long my précédant article was that I had to divisé, split it into two parts,I needed some break from that.
But enough talk,let's get into the article itself.
toi may not have known this,but I'm also a big Steven Universe fan.Most of that has to do with the fact of,you guessed it,how much it resembles Frozen.
Now technically,Steven Universe aired about one week before La Reine des Neiges came out,but the similarities...

I haven't done a ranking in a while, so here ya go. This article is dedicated to the amazing animators of Disney who gave us wonderful character designs and, sadly, unrealistic hair expectations! (*cries because my hair will never be as cool as DP hair*)

That being said, although every princess has beautiful hair, some manes are better than others. This is my opinion of their hairstyles, ranked worst to best.

12. Tiana

I find Tiana's hairstyles quite disappointing. As the first black princess, and being absolutely gorgeous at that, the animators could have done lots of cool things with letting...

Hello, everyone! This is the first installment of my new series analyzing the DPs' personalities according to the Enneagram system.

Introduction: Understanding the Enneagram

So, the Enneagram is a pretty complicated system of classifying personalities. Basically, everyone has a core type, expressed as a number of One through Nine. This is the most straightforward description of someone’s personality.

Here’s a basic rundown of each type:
1: perfectionistic, rational, idealistic
2: generous, warm-hearted, nurturing
3: ambitious, image-conscious, charming
4: sensitive, dreamy, moody
5: cerebral,...

I know she's always typed as an Intuitive, especially an ENFP, and it's understandable why; I had once typed her as an ENFJ myself. She does, after all, just "know" the lights are "meant for me!" But is that really indicative of someone with strong intuitive preference? I think it's because this tendency for people to type nerdy/quirky/silly ESFJs as ENFPs, not only Rapunzel but characters like Steven Universe. It gets frustrating because that just implies only intuitives are inherently imaginative.

Anyway, to the typing:

Extroverted Feeling (Fe): Rapunzel is very warm to everyone she meets....

 I really think he loses it, here... Raging at a person is not explaining to a person your personal view.

Triton is one of those dads in Disney that absolutely makes me squirm. I don’t l’amour him, and I don’t hate him. But I do find him extremely unnerving, and on the same plane of Mother Gothel upsetting. He clearly alternates between being “nice” only sometimes, and then being really “explosively nasty” at other periods. King Triton’s rule is a patriarchy. I think his abusive tendencies, though, stem from insecurities he has within himself. Triton is afraid of the unknown. He's also afraid of not appearing “manly” enough. ( Bizarrely, this also makes me think of Prince Adam and...

I got inspired par laylastepford's link about which American Cities the Disney Princesses would live in and as I'm from Sweden I decided to write an article about which Swedish Towns (since most falls into that category, only a few falls into the "city" category) each Disney Princesses would live in, it's hard to identify each town's personality so I based it on mostly other aspects. I haven't been to all these towns so I'm just basing on what I know about each town

Snow White: Alingsås

This town lays only about 30 minutes train ride from Gothenburg and from what I've read and seen off...

Hello there! I'm ApplesauceDoctr here today with my third DP Song Analysis article. I've forgotten how much I enjoy écriture these, and since I re-watched Rebelle a few days ago, I thought I'd analyze one of its most notable songs -- "Into the Open Air".

Before we begin, thought I'd mention this -- the chorus occurs twice in the real song (the one toi can purchase from the soundtrack), but only occurs once in the actual movie. The lyrics for the two are quite different, but because we only hear one version in the movie, I'll only discuss that one we hear. :D

This love, it is a distant star...

Ah yes. Merchandise. Money, in other words. I adore the Disney princesses. They are all unique, and have good qualities. Some are even a little complex and the majority are at least decent role models. That's not how Disney markets them. Well, unless their name is Anna ou Elsa. For the first 11 princess, they are downgraded into sparkle obsessed girls that look nothing like they did in their original film. Great princesses are forgotten in merchandise as well. The whole system is downright awful. For the La Reine des Neiges sisters, Disney markets them as "I don't need a man". They tried that with Merida...

I realized that I've never written an article with any of my liste in this club; so I wanna start with something that I really love: Disney Princesses' Outfits! I'm a big fan of Disney dresses, here's why I l’amour cosplayers and to cosplay so much. It's wonderful to see an animated dress in person.
Well, about my article: I included just complete outfits, for example I kept out Ariel's rags because, in my opinion, this isn't even an outfit, ou Mulan's white dress she wears under her Matchmaker visit dress because they are part of the same outfit. So, I hope you'll enjoy my liste and tell me with...

I'm not doing it with the CGI Princesses because I don't particularly like any of their smiles. I mean... they look like real teeth Dx Anyway, here's my list...

9. Pocahontas
As some may know, I think Pocahontas is a really beautiful human being, in and out. But what I don't find beautiful about her is her ways of expression. When she speaks, it sounds like she's faking every type of emotion she's trying to express and the same goes to when she smiles.

8. Mulan
Mulan's smile feels held back so that's why she is in this placement. But I do think it's warm and natural, maybe not as ''impressive''...

13. Snow White
Snow would definitely be higher on my liste if her curls were plus defined. I like the idea of her hair styled in a bob with a red bow. Unfortunately, that idea didn't come out too nicely to me.

12. Cinderella
Strawberry blonde is my favori hair color and Cinderella's burnt orange hair color is no doubt uniquely gorgeous. Speaking of unique, so are her bangs but I can't say I really like them as they look like plastic to me.

11. Tiana
The little strands of curls that hang down are pretty cute. Although it doesn't look like toi can do much with Tiana's hair but tie it...

Just a quick article to compare Gaston to the Beast and decide who is really the villain...

Similarities:
Gaston: Vain, selfish and doesn't really care about anyone else.
VS
Beast: Spoiled, selfish, cursed for not having any l’amour in his heart.
xxxx
Gaston: Only wants Belle because she's beautiful.
VS
Beast: Only wants Belle because she's the first girl who's come along since the curse.
xxxx
Gaston: Locks up Belle and her father.
VS
Beast: Locks up Maurice and keeps Belle prisoner.
xxxx
Differences:
Gaston: Relatively level-headed. Acts plus out of jealousy than anger.
VS
Beast: Quick temper. Yells a lot for...
