So, I just finished watching Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, because I plan in rewatching all Disney Princess films in order. I'll also write a review for each after I watch it - except Frozen, maybe, since I already did, but I may write a comparision about what changed in my opinions.

I'll also try giving each part (plot, music, etc.) a score, but I warn toi I can't be too harsh.

Without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, the fairest one of all: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

The Plot:

I see almost no problems with the plot. in addition to being concise, it's charming and captures the viewer's attention. It's just like a fairytale coming alive in the screen. Of course, I a dit "I see almost no problems with the plot".

There are filler scenes. But they aren't bad. I thought I would be bored and annoyed when the dwarfs enter the house, but it kept my attention in the screen - it's very funny. I also like the washing scene, except the thing with Dopey swallowing the soap - but gladly that was short. But the fact I like then don't stop it from making them what they are: filler scenes.

I also wished they had kept link scene. Sorry, but it would teach some people plus about Snow White's nature, since she is obviously (and delightfully) manipulative in this scene - and it's obvious that's the reason Walt cut it, just like he cut the scene with Cendrillon laughing of her sisters. He prefered to keep their, ah, "imperfections" to only the most open-minded ones.

I also wish, to a lesser extent, he would've kept the link scene. It's cute and I like Snow White's attitude in this scene. And, really, if I could travel back to that time, I would have told Walt to make a short film of that deleted scene where the Dwarfs build a lit for Snow White. I can't find it in good quality in Youtube, so I'm not passing a link, but toi can easily find it.

Also, this has some of the "best" Disney scenes, in my opinion: Best Cleaning Scene ("Whistle While toi Work"), Best Baking Scene ("Someday My Prince Will Come (reprise)") and one of the best Disney's Happy Endings.

So, for the captivating fairytale-like story and the entertaining filler scenes, I give the plot a score of 9,1.

The Characters:

Snow White: I know some people see Snow White as bland and stupid and passive, but I cannot see it, really. She's so interesting and an over-layered character, with many different traits - she can be cheerful, childlike, wise, motherly, bossy, sassy, flirty and even manipulative. I l’amour how unrealistic she is, the perfect example of a fairy-tale princess, and I watch Disney films to flee from my somewhat depressing reality (not that I don't l’amour my life).

She is sooo cute and I l’amour how she knows she has everyone wrapped around her little finger - the searching Prince, the house-cleaning animals, the welcoming dwarfs - and is still so truly joyful and sweet. I also don't think she is a stereotypical housewife ou any of that, well, crap (pardon my language). She was smart to offer her domestic help, ou the dwarfs wouldn't let her stay. And her life DOESN'T revolves arround the Prince. I was observing that today - she's the only princess whose life doesn't revolves arround something. She is in the dwarfs' cottage, thinking she's sûr, sans danger and living her life like another ordinary day.

And to be honest, I think she dealt with the old lady the right way. Really, she was obviously reluctant to give information to the woman, but when she saw the animaux attacking her and the woman having a heart-attack, she acted the role of the good samaritan and let her inside. Also, she was right in accepting the pomme - old people are REALLY difficult to deal with. I should know.

Sorry for the rant, but I think that was needed. Moving on!

The Seven Dwarfs: They're some of Disney's best sidekicks. Like Snow White, they're multi-layered, because they seem gruff and rough man at first, but they're really sweethearts at heart. They're also really funny. My favoris are Doc, Bashful and Grumpy. I l’amour how much of a bumbling leader Doc is and Bashful is the cutest, with his platonic l’amour for Snow White. And Grumpy... well, need I explain? One of the best Disney grumpy characters, right there with Donald Duck.

Actually, I think all dwarfs have some degree of platonic l’amour for Snow White, but the thing is - not even them know it is love, because they're so clueless.

The Evil Queen: Evil Ruler passing throught! That woman is just pure wickedness. She's so vain and bloodlusting. I l’amour her cold, regal behavior and I find her really funny as the Hag. Of course, I only think that now. As a child, I was scared to death of her! When she popped up in that window - Oh My Gosh! That never failed to scare me!

In short, one of the best Disney villains.

The Prince:

Yes, the Prince is underdeveloped, but I think he is not bland. For a character with his amount of screentime, he sure shows how much of a romantic, sensible, dedicated guy he is. One of my favori Disney Princes.

Forest Animals:

I looooooooove the Forest Animals! They're SO cute! And so useful - cleaning the whole cottage and bringing the dwarfs to the rescue! Their cutest moment is helping Snow White bake the gooseberry pie for Grumpy. ^^ AND THAT TURTLE, OH MY GOD, I l’amour THAT TURTLE! BEST Disney CAMEO ANIMAL EVER!

The Huntsman:

Well, I think it was really kind and human of him to let Snow go, but there isn't a lot else to say. But I still like you, Huntsman.

So, for some multi-layered characters, entertaining characters and some underdeveloped ones, I give the characters a score of 8,7.

The Music:

The musique of this movie is really charming and memorable. It's also catchy, in a good way. I'm Wishing is a really sweet and dreamy song and One Love is one of Disney's best l’amour songs. With a Smile and a Song is a bright and inspiring song, that fills your cœur, coeur with sunshine when toi hear it. Whistle While toi Work is probably my favori of the soundtrack and the best Disney's house-cleaning song. Heigh-Ho is a classic and catchy tune and The Washing Song is simply fun. I may say The Silly Song is Disney's best nonsensical song. The princess' theme song, Someday My Prince Will Come is not the best "I Want" song, but it's still great and charming and dreamy. The Finale, which is a reprise of One Song and Someday, is full of joy and has the great power to leave everyone full of happiness inside.

So, the songs I really love are: I'm Wishing, One Song, With a Smile and a Song, Whistle While toi Work, The Silly Song and the Finale.

And the songs I love/like are: Heigh-Ho, The Washing Song and Someday My Prince Will Come.

That's right! There's not a single song I dislike in this movie!

So, for its memorable and charming songs, I give the musique a score of 9,8.

The Score:

The score is simply great! It's one of the most memorable ones and does anyone else feels like it can tell a story in its own?

So, for its memorability and uniqueness, I give the score a score of 10

The Animation:

So, this section wasn't in the original article, because I was sleepy and forgot to add.

As the first full feature-lenght made par Walt and his team, it's obvious that they were still learning. But I don't think the animation is as bad as some people like to say. The backgrounds and the coloring are beautiful and the characters' movements seem realistic to me.

The only complain I have is that I don't like how Snow White looks from far (for an example, when she is picking fleurs - her beautiful lips look ugly and messed up) ou how she looks in some sequences - when she tells the Dwarfs they have to wash and when she sings Someday My Prince Will Come - her forehead seems disproportionately big in these scenes.

However, I want to say I l’amour how she looks in the other scenes, in particular when she enter the dwarfs' house for the first time and clean it.

So, for the generally good animation, but for some inconsistencies in the main character's animation, I give the animation a score of b]8,0[/b].

Overview

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is just like a fairytale - timeless and an essential part of every kid's happy childhood. It's one of my favori films ever and it keeps my full attention. I give it a general score of 9,7.

So, I thank toi for taking the time to read this quite long review and I hope that, even if toi don't agree with me, toi have enjoyed hearing my opinion.

Bye bye and 'till suivant time!

Since most of the Disney princesses are derived from fairy tales they have gone through many transformations before Disney took their stab at it. I’m going to use the stories I grew up on as “the original”.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)
In the original Brothers Grimm story the evil Queen tries three times before the poisoned pomme to kill Snow White and fails, ones with a poison comb, once with a murderously tight hair ribbon and another time with a similarly tight corset. Each time she is saved par the dwarves. Disney also gets rid of the queens violent smashing of the magic...

Okay so me and Aurora are walking through the woods trying to get as far away from the cottage as possible. We came par the arbre where Aurora goes par to look at the kingdom.

"Why" asked Aurora

"It's complicated" I said

"But I've always wanted to go there" a dit Aurora

"You have" I asked

"Yes I've been looking at the kingdom ever since I was eight wanting to go" a dit Aurora

"You will go tonight" I said

"Why not now" asked Aurora

"But....." started Aurora

9. Tiana
A lot of people who have Tiana this low think that she’s too serious. Well, I don’t know about that but I think her world is too concentrated on the restaurant and that she’s too narrow-minded. Sure, I like her as a human a little but when she turns into a frog… I don’t know. Her personality changes too much in my opinion. Plus, in my opinion she’s the only princess who is only a little dreamy. I think the rest of them are really dreamy in their own ways...

ppv and I decided to collaborate together on an article. Here are our favori Princesses!

9. (DG) Aurora, (ppv) Ariel

DG: Just because Aurora is last on my liste doesn’t mean I don’t like her. It all boils down to the fact that she’s not in her film for very long, and I just felt like I didn’t get to know her as well as some of the others on my list. She’s pretty, but in a generic way. My favori thing about Aurora is that she’s a hopeless romantic.

ppv: Ariel is a childish and funny girl with fantastic voice (one of best voices among Disney Princesses, no doubt), she's...

NUMBER NINE: Meeko
I think a lot of people think he's really cute and everything, but I kinda just kind him annoying.. and I haven't seen Pocahontas in a while, so this is just going par memory, but I don't really remember him doing much in the movie, other than eating John's nourriture :P

“Puhlease,” she whispered. “Can’t we just sabotage this bit?”
“Think of how to do it and you’re welcome,” Esmeralda replied.
Meg looked around her for something to jog her mind when she saw a man walking along the plage towards them.

Yes, my liste changed again. Please don't be too shocked when toi read the results. I worked hard on this article, and plus importantly, I worked hard on deciding. 9. Ariel
Even if toi tried to come find me, I lock my windows and doors at night, and I have an attack dog, so yea. Ariel is my least favori for many reasons. She's selfish, makes stupid decisions, leaves her family for a guy at 16, and a lot more. Sorry Ariel fans. 8. Tiana
Sorry Tiana, toi just didn't impress me. She just doesn't know how to have fun, and she falls in l’amour with Naveen out of the blue. It doesn't seem like she has...

Everyone else was doing it, so I decided to make one of my own. Please keep in mind I like all of the princesses, just some plus than others. So scroll down and enjoy my article!!!! 9. Aurora
I do like Aurora! Honest! It's just that I don't get to see much of her. I like it when characters montrer a lot of personality on the big screen, and Aurora did montrer some, but not much. We see she likes animaux and dreams about true love, but that's about it. She could've been higher on my liste if she showed plus personality. 8. jasmin
I know know, most of toi are probably wondering: "Why is jasmin so...

9. Snow White's Castle
I'm sorry, but the only thing that seems good about this place is that it has a few nice balconies that toi can stand on while your man serenades you. Other than that, it's a very dark, eerie castle. Of course it's ran par an evil Queen so that makes perfect sense.

8. Prince's Castle (Snow White)
The scene with the Prince's château is one of the most beautiful scenes in all Disney films however, we can't really see it. It seems plus like a mirage made of light in the clouds if toi ask me. It's obviously beautiful, but we have no idea what it actually looks like inside....

salut i'm new here so I just want to say that I will give my honest opinion and I probably don't swear half as much as the average teenage girl. I think. Just a little uh...preview of me there hehe.

Moving on, I will evaluate the princes on not only looks but what I found hot about their personalities too since I believe in all that "looks aren't everything" crap. Also keep in mind that this is just MY opinion, some may agree some may not that's your prerogative just please don't fight me about this.

PS: I know I should've put images but I just found out how and will probably add them later.

1. Aurora/Jasmine

My haut, retour au début is a tie between two differently gorgeous girls. Aurora is generically pretty like Cinderella, but she can pull it off with the slightly different hair color, the style of her hair, and her body. She's gorgeous in every way. jasmin is incredibly exotic. She has skin somewhere between Tiana and Belle, and it basically is a beautiful, year-round tan. Her hair is silkily black like Pocahontas's, and her body is fantastic. Her eyes are giant, sexy, and brown with thick lashes. She is every Project piste contestant's dream.
