10. Aurora
Aurora was donné the gift of beauty and the gift of voice. She has classic beauty and I l’amour her chant voice but I feel like that's all she's got.

9. Snow White
Snow White and the seven dwarves is the most classic and original Disney princess movie in my opinion but Snow White lacks character. At least she cooks and clean.

8. Ariel
Ariel is curious, adventurous and romantic. Sure she was stubborn for making the deal but we all made the same mistake she did. The movie just over exaggerated the situation of girls doing something completely stupid for some guy. Nobody's perfect.

7. Tiana
Tiana loves cooking, now that's a woman to keep. She's one of the best role models, she's hardworking and didn't lose sight of doing what's right towards the end. Though the ending was a bit rushed and she's not the most memorable princess.

6. Pocahontas
Pocahontas is athletic, exotic, spiritual and I l’amour when she sings "Colors of the wind". However, the movie didn't do it for me because everything happened without reason. Plus, I think Pocahontas should have married Kocoum and friendzoned John Smith.

5. Cinderella
Cendrillon always appreciates what she has because she's a sweetheart. If I were Cinderella, I would probably commit suicide.

4. Rapunzel
Rapunzel is curious, creative and adventurous. I l’amour how she's kind of like a child, I think I'm most like her. She's just adorable and she has a cute voice to go with it.

3. Belle
Belle is smart, odd and a people's person, there's no one like her really. Most people who say they don't care about looks actually do. I like how she wouldn't give "handsome" but obnoxious Gaston the time of day.

2. Jasmine
jasmin is a seductive, bright and confident princess who stands up for herself. She wants to be married for l’amour and may I add that she has good taste in men. She's the whole package, that's why I've always loved her.

1. Mulan
Mulan doesn't need a prince to save her, she saved China, yeah Mulan kicks ass! She's my all-time favori Disney princess and I can relate to her. She is brave, selfless and funny. We can see how flawed she is at the beginning but she managed to persevere. She went to war as a man to first save her father's life and then to prove everyone wrong.

POTM Hairstyles Countdown: ~*Pocahontas*~ (May 2013)

Since I am trying to make the Princess Of The mois plus popular, this is another one of my ideas. In the end of each mois I'll post articles, based on the countdowns for songs, hairstyles and outfits. There everybody will have the chance to discuss whether they agree with the results, what corresponded to their expectations, and what they wish would have been different!

I was recently informed that the problem with the pictures in the articles is gone, and now the pictures can be put inside the text. However, I'm going to continue using mainly pictures for my articles, because first of all, that's what I've been doing for the rest of the articles from these series, and second, I like this way of doing articles! So maybe at some point I will switch back to the explanatory and sophisticated words articles, but for the time being I will stick to my picture articles!

I don't know if I'm alone on this, but I've become quite tired of everyone bashing the earlier princesses and saying they're bad role mannequins for girls. Personally, I think parents shouldn't be relying on fictional, animated characters to be the role models... but that's a whole different issue altogether. In this article I want to address the common complaints towards the princesses: waiting around for/needing a man, not being independent, etc...

Snow White:

I want to start with a reminder that Snow White is only 14-years-old. Face it, her story is no different than any other 14-year-old...

1) How does it feel to be fan of the month?

Those of toi using the word selfish still do not see that toi are using this word the wrong way, and frankly seem like fake Ariel fans. Cause no Ariel fan would call her such a hateful, negative word. The definition of selfish is : "devoted to caring for oneself and ones interests only, greedy. Regardless of others". the words that can be used in place of of Selfish are : narcissistic, greedy, hoggish, mean, narrow-minded, out for number one, narcissistic, prejudiced, wrapped in oneself. 1 = Rapunzel makes the best out of living in a tower with her pet chameleon. She has no internet, no phone, nothing. Which is why I don't like it when people say she can do too many positive things, ou she has too many positive traits. Her step-mother probably taught them to her so that she wouldn't be bored everyday while she's stuck up there.

2 = Rapunzel doesn't rebel the first time. She listens to Mother Gothel, and stays put. When she see's Flynn, she doesn't welcome him in. And when she does knock him out, she's proud to tell Mother Gothel.

3 = After she's out of the tower, she keeps thinking...

1 - Elsa is born with ice powers and we don't know how she got them

2 - If Anna was so worried about Elsa why was she wasting her time on Hans when she could be talking to her sister?

3 - Anna's main goal is to get her sister out of her room and when she does come out Anna doesn't give her plus than a minute of attention aside from asking the blessing of her to marry someone.

4 - Anna wants to marry a guy she hasn't even know for 20 minutes.

5 - Couldn't of Elsa just froze the peoples feet so they would stop chasing her?

15. Peter Pan- I find him to be plus cute than hot. He reminds me of a little boy and I find that so cute. When I was younger I wanted him to be my boyfriend though. I guess since I'm older I'm into the plus manlier men in Disney.

14. Hercules- I don't know what it is.. but I just don't find him all that hot. Sure, he's manly and strong but when he was skinny and weak I prefer him. They made him too strong and his body was weird to me.

I can't see many similarities between the two, but to be fair she was animated par Pixar and not Disney. They both seem like strong independent women though :). And I found a picture where they have similar hair!

I can see similarities in face shape. Also their eyes are both curvy. I have to admit that Kristen looks plus like the original concept to the actual one. I Believe it was changed possibly to the complaints of fans that she looked too much like Rapunzel.

So as the titre states, I recently started a countdown to see what fanpop thinks is the Best DP Ending, and to be honest, I am shocked that some made it as far as it did and etc. For the countdown, I practically considered everything that happened right after the Villain's passing ou defeat.

11. Raiponce Ending (Rapunzel reunites with parents, Corona have a confiture in the kingdom)

Practically, the global, ensemble consensus of this ending was that Flynn's dialogue of him getting drunk and them waiting YEARS AND MONTHS and such ruined it. They also thought that the flying cupid and such ruined the ending...

18. Snow White (Snow White)

Where do i start? She’s annoying and an idiot (no offense to anyone who likes her). She literally is dreaming and chant about getting married the first half of the movie. The girls 14! And then she goes and almost gets her self killed par taking nourriture from a stranger and would be dead if not for her prince. Over all she’s plain, annoying, boring and idiotic.

Rapunzel Mary Sue Test

Hi everyone! I found this Mary Sue test someone was doing for Percy Jackson characters and really liked it. I decided it'd be fun to put Disney princesses through it, since a lot of them are accused of being Sues (though I modified the test a little, adding and removing some traits). This test is great because it isn't unnecessarily long-winded and toi don't need to be the creator of the character to put them through it (though some of the traits do get repetitive). I had to remove some like "Naturally beautiful" and "Great chant voice" since that's pretty much a donné for all the princesses....
