I've seen other people write articles on this, and I thought I should make one as well. It combines two of my favori things, musique and the Disney Princesses. At the end of each description I will liste my favori songs from that soundtrack in order from favori to least favori song. I didn't include my favori instrumentals in this article; I'm écriture a seperate article on my favori scores :)

10. The Princess and the Frog

Like the film itself, I don't find the musique from The Princess and the Frog to be that memorable. Most of the songs actually sound the same to me. I used to think the reason I didn't like the musique from this film was because I didn't grow up with this movie, like I did with many of the others; but after I saw Raiponce I realized that was no longer the case!
1. "Never Knew I Needed"
2. "Friends On the Other Side"
3. "Ma Belle Evangeline"
4. "Almost There"
5. "When We're Human"
6. "Dig A Little Deeper"
7. "Gonna Take toi There"
8. "Down In New Orleans"
9. "Down In New Orleans (Reprise)"

9. Sleeping Beauty

Like the movie itself, I find the soundtrack to be a snooze fest. I only like two songs; but they are wistful, and romantic...the perfect "Princess" songs.
1. "I Wonder"
2. "Once Upon A Dream"
3. "Sleeping Beauty"
4. "The Gifts of Beauty and Song"
5. "Hail to the Princess Aurora"
6. "Skumps"

8. Mulan

Like Sleeping Beauty, I only like two songs from Mulan. I l’amour this movie, but some of the songs take away from the epic storyline that it has.
1. "Make a Man Out of You"
2. "Honor to Us All"
3. "Girl Worth Fighting For"
4. "Reflection"
5. "True to Your Heart"

7. Aladdin

I like most of the songs from Aladdin. They are fun, catchy and extremly memorable. The only one I'm not so crazy about, is "A Whole New World". It's sweet and romantic, but borderline generic.
1. "One Jump Ahead (Reprise)"
2. "Friend Like Me"
3. "Prince Ali"
4. "One Jump Ahead"
5. "A Whole New World"
6. "Prince Ali (Reprise)"

6. The Little Mermaid

Like Aladdin, I find myself liking most of the songs from The Little Mermaid; they are all catchy and fun as well. The songs from this movie are very easy to get stuck in your head, which can be a good thing, but after time gets old!
1. "Part of Your World (Reprise)"
2. "Part of Your World"
3. "Poor Unfortunate Souls"
4. "Kiss the Girl"
5. "Under the Sea"
6. "Daughters of Triton"
7. "Fathoms Below"
8. "Les Poissons"

5. Tangled

I really enjoyed the musique from this film. It's happy, and upbeat. My expectations for this soundtrack were low, because I didn't like the musique from the Princess and the Frog, but I was pleasantly surprised when I heard the musique from Tangled. I fell in l’amour with its music.
1. "Healing Incantation"
2. "When Will My Life Begin"
3. "Mother Knows Best"
4. "When Will My Life Begin (Reprise)"
5. "I See the Light"
6. "Mother Knows Best (Reprise)"
7. "I've Got a Dream"
8. "Something That I Want"

4. Pocahontas

I l’amour this soundtrack. It has SO many great songs. They all just seem to fit perfectly into the movie, and help to tell the story.
1. "Just Around the Riverbend"
2. "If I Never Knew You"
3. "Colors of the Wind"
4. "Listen With Your Heart"
6. "Savages (Part 1)"
7. "Listen With Your cœur, coeur (Part 2)"
8. "Savages (Part 2)"
9. "The Virginia Company"
10. "Steady As the Beating Drum"
11. "Steady As the Beating Drum (Part 2)"
12. "Mine Mine Mine"

3. Beauty and the Beast

This was my favori soundtrack for years. The musique in this film is pure genius. It flows along the storyline perfectly. It gives me chills.
1. "Belle (Reprise)"
2. "Beauty and the Beast"
3. "Something There"
4. "Be Our Guest"
5. "Belle"
6. "Gaston"
7. "The Mob Song"

2. Cinderella

I adore the musique from my favori childhood movie. It's sweet and heartwarming. Whenever I hear the musique from Cendrillon I feel like I'm a little girl again.
1. "A Dream Is a Wish Your cœur, coeur Makes"
2. ""Cinderella
3. "So This Is Love"
4. "The Work Song"
5. "Oh, Sing Sweet Nightingale"
6. "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo"

1. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

I l’amour to listen to the musique from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Each song is sweet, and cheerful and almost ALWAYS puts me in a good mood. I can honestly say I enjoy every single song.

1. "One Song"
2. "One Song (Reprise)"
3. "With a Smile and a Song"
4. "Whistle While toi Work"
5. "Someday My Prince Will Come (Reprise)"
6. "The Silly Song"
7. "Heigh Ho"
8. "Someday My Prince Will Come"
9. "Bluddle-Uddle-Um-Dum"

THE Princess and the Frog” does not open nationwide until December, but the buzz is already breathless: For the first time in Walt Disney animation history, the fairest of them all is black.

Princess Tiana, a hand-drawn throwback to classic Disney characters like Cendrillon and Snow White, has a dazzling green gown, a classy upsweep hairdo and a diamond tiara. Like her predecessors, she is a strong-willed songbird (courtesy of the Tony-winning actress Anika Noni Rose) who finds her muscle-bound boyfriend against all odds.

“Finally, here is something that all little girls, especially young...

Okay I'm a week late but here it is, finally!

If I can be honest this is a movie I'm not really that excited about watching again. Any time I watched it in the past I wasn't that interested but now that I've been watching plus Disney again lately maybe I'll enjoy it!

Tonight's rewatch: The Princess and the Frog
Last time watched: 2013

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
When I first watched this movie I was 16 years old and kinda going through a "I hate Disney" faze. It wasn't that I hated all the Disney films since during that time I was still watching the classics like Hunchback of Notre...

My issues with these two aside, they do have pretty cool designs
My issues with these two aside, they do have pretty cool designs
I already shared some of these grievances in a mur post so the adrenaline is down but at least now I can somewhat organize my thoughts. In some ways this kind of a part two to my first rant.

Now, if toi ask me the golden age of the Disney Princess lineup was that sweet spot when it was 10 princesses, I mean it was the first eight characters and films that most of us knew and loved, and grew up with, plus the two who kinda pretty much revived (no pun intended) the franchise and they fitted in quite nicely.

We even had a really cool website where the princesses talked to you, toi could dress each...

Hi guys, so this article is literary my first impressions on the 2017 live-action reboot of the Disney Classic that we all grew up with it.

The Cast

I was initially a little disappointed that Disney didn't get either Emmy Rossum ou Anne Hathaway for Belle, but one problem with the latter is that Anne will be typecast as a royalty. So, Emmy would be the possible choice due to her chant experience.
Whereas the Beast may either be play par Gerard Butler, Patrick Wilson ou Joaquin Phoenix, but with Emmy as Belle. It would be like Gerry has played the Phantom's ancestor while Emmy is Christine's...

 Coronation Moments.
Coronation Moments.
Since 5 princesses were originally commoners, what you're going to read is actually a few coronation musique that will suit when the these 5 commoners became princesses!

1. Royal Coronation Overture (Patrick Brill)

So the composer is modern, but this musique sounds French and Baroque. I personally think that Belle and Cendrillon will use this musique since they are French.

2. Marche de Triomphe (Marc-Antoine Charpentier)

Another French Coronation, only this time par a French composer! Considering that this piece was use for the coronation of King Louis XIV of France (AKA The Sun King), it sounds pretty...
