I'm a bit bored, and obviously I'll be accueil tonight, so I decided I might use some of my already doomed to be useless time to write an article. And what's a better article than the timeless Favorite Disney Princess List... So sit back, relax and enjoy the montrer :-)

Just a side note first: I am not trying to offend anyone with the jokes in the text, ou the captions under the pictures. They are put for the sole purpose of making the article a bit plus entertaining. So please do not feel offended par them!

10. AURORA
It's not that I hate Aurora. But I am not really fond of her. And it's not because she's in her movie for only 18 minutes. It's because I cannot connect to her at all. She doesn't seem to be strong-willed, she's not sarcastic, she's kind of useless. And she doesn't seem very intelligent. If fact if they asked her to write the dialog for a porno movie, she wouldn't be able to complete the task... Of course she has her beauty, and I consider her really elegant, but her global, ensemble presence in the movie was quite frankly unexciting.

9. ARIEL
Ok, I have a really long relationship with Ariel. She was the princess I loved the most for many years... I remember watching her movie every jour when I was little. What happened then, why is she number 9 now? Well, because I grew up, and I started seeing her in another light. When I was little I admired her because she was a mermaid, and I loved this. I still l’amour it now, but I also consider many other factors now. For example now I see she is incredibly selfish. I know some people consider that as something good, because she followed her dreams and so on, blah blah blah... I still consider it incredibly rude and self-absorbed. Also she, like Aurora is not very intelligent. Making a deal with a sea witch, and accepting her terms?? This is the moment when I start thinking that Ariel's sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others... And I really don't consider her beautiful, she's cute at the most...but I'll talk about that in another article.

8. TIANA
I had really high expectations just before The Princess and the Frog came out in 2009. I knew what Disney films were during the 1990s and I was really looking vers l'avant, vers l’avant to that one. Unfortunately it disappointed me quite a lot. And the princess also disappointed me. I admit that Tiana is hard-working and always keeps her eyes on the prize. And I respect that. However she lacked the dreamy, fun side that all the princesses before her possessed. As Naveen (whom I also dislike) said, she is really "a stick in the mud". Not letting herself to have fun even for once - this is something that really makes me put Tiana so low on my list. Apart from that I don't find Tiana attractive as well.. But she has a great chant voice.

7. SNOW WHITE
For years and years Snow White has been my least favori princess. I thought she lacks personality and she is boring. However, as I started considering princesses and their behaviors a bit more, I found out that I actually like Snow White. She is this perfect, sweet and caring princess, that every little girl wants to be. She is really modest and global, ensemble adorable. The thing with Snow White is that the is so fairy tale like, that I can ever accept her l’amour to the Prince to be true. The whole scene has a hint of magic: she wishes for a prince, and he's there. I can't stop myself from thinking that their relationship is plus like a game for her and plus like a romance for him. He'll ask her to get married, and she'll make a veil out of arbre leaves ou whatever. If he wishes to be plus intimate with her, she'll probably let him Kiss her and that would be it. Ok, I won't go there, but she's exactly like a child, with some hints of a teenager behavior here and there. And her voice...well, I'm not exactly fond of it, but I don't consider it awful as well. Overall, she's an amazing fairy tale character, but maybe sometimes a bit too naive.

6. CINDERELLA
Number 6 is saved for one of the most-well known princesses ever. Cendrillon is really nice, loving, caring and tender. She looks fragile and is also very optimistic about the future. I admire her for her strong beliefs that someday her dreams will become true and she'll be happy, regardless of that she's under a lot of stress in the current moment. The reason she's so low is that she barely does anything in order to get her happy ending. For years and years she obeyed her stepmother and stepsisters, without a single complain. I know this shows a real character, but it requires far plus determination the desire for change in order to change the stars and create a different destiny for herself. She is not really able to stand up for herself. I almost feel like she teaches people that when they have a problem they can either stand here like Cinderella, ou they can do something about it. The fact is, if it wasn't for the magic of the Fairy Godmother, Cendrillon would have probably stayed a maid for her entire life. On another note, I think her appearance is nice, and her voice is ok.

5. JASMINE
I l’amour Jasmine. She's smart, bold, beautiful, witty, and sassy. She takes no shit from anybody and knows exactly what she wants. She's stubborn and she knows how to get things her way. Plus she gets the best out of all the Disney princes. And she is one of the hottest animated females (Esmeralda still being #1 for me). What I don't like about jasmin is that she is a bit too spoiled. Palace life has certainly made her bossy and demanding. However I l’amour how bitchy she is to prince Ahmed, to the guards (especially Razoul), to Jafar and sometimes to Aladdin. She reminds me a lot of me actually, my personality is very similar to hers, and I am also really thin. She seems like the type of person, who can l’amour with all her heart, but if she has to deal with separation I can also imagine her saying something like this: "We cannot do this like adults and go our separate ways. We need to argue first! Now fight me for three days, cause I'm bored". Still, I think jasmin is gorgeous, and I also l’amour her chant voice.

4. RAPUNZEL
After The Princess and the Frog disappointed me in 2009, my expectations for Tangled were even higher. And it lived up to them! I found Rapunzel adorable. She was sweet, naive, determined, but also romantic and caring for those she loved. I didn't place her higher, because I thought she is a bit too unsure in herself and her abilities. For years and years she had one dream, but she needed someone, like Flynn to come along and to boost up her courage and desire in order for her to go and make that dream come true. I really admire her for being so down to earth - while she was in the tower the only human she had contact with was Gothel, but she was so nice to everybody in the town, and the way she started dancing and made other people dance as well was adorable. I think she really grows up as a character, and in the end she even offers her freedom and happiness in exchange for Flynn's life. She reminds me a lot of Snow White, with her perfect personality and nice attitude. However, her lack of self-confidence and the fact that she's sometimes a bit too naive put her on spot #4 on my list.

3. POCAHONTAS
I've been in l’amour with the Native Americans for a long time. And this is one of the reasons I have Pocahontas as one of my favori Disney princesses. I l’amour her in the first part of her movie, when she's fun, bold and free-spirited, and I like her in the seconde part, when she's serious, Rebelle and determined to bring peace. I always adored her for being independent and adventurous. And I also really like how she always fought for what she believed in. She never gave up on what was truly important to her. The thing I don't like that much about her is that she never really puts her thoughts into words until it is absolutely necessary to do so (which sometimes is a bit too late). For example if she knew she doesn't like Kocoum , it would have been a lot plus noble and honest, if she just lets him know, something like "The voices in my head don't like you. Oh, and my best friend the arbre doesn't like toi either". Instead she leaves him without an answer, and instead breaks his cœur, coeur when he sees her with John Smith. But global, ensemble she's an awesome character.

2. MULAN
Mulan is one of the best characters Disney has ever created. She's strong willed, fearless, determined to prove herself and to make her family proud. But she is also selfless and modest - she takes up her father's place in the army, even though she knew if she's revealed, she'll be killed. However, the pain to know that her father will die was even greater for her. I l’amour the way her story goes - she starts as clumsy and unpopular, she doesn't do well in the army at first (Here I can imagine Chi Fu saying something like "I think we a depriving a village somewhere of its idiot" to Shang about Mulan). However her determination and her desire to montrer that she's worth respect help her achieve something that not even the trained male soldiers can do - she manages to defeat Shan Yu and save all of China from the Huns. She's clever and decisive, she can quickly come up with a plan and execute is perfectly well. I also l’amour her relationship with her father. She is truly a great heroine!

1. BELLE
Ok, I guess it won't surprise toi who my favori Disney princess is (points at my username...waits a bit...nods head). Yeah, that's right! Belle has been my favori princess for a couple of years now and I highly doubt any Disney princess will be able to overthrown her, at least in the near future (here naturally don't include Anastasia, who's Fox, and who's been my favori animated female for a long time now). What I l’amour about Belle is that she is smart, charming, sassy, sophisticated and a dreamer, all in the same time. She's also really pretty. I admire her for taking her father's place and sacrificing her freedom for him. I also admire her for helping the Beast realize what it means to l’amour and to be loved in return. I would describe Belle as a brilliant character! I'm not really fond of her voice (at least in the English version of the movie though). Sometimes Paige sounds too old for the character. Nevertheless, there are plenty of ways in which I can relate to Belle, and for all these reasons listed in this paragraph cloche, bell is, and will continue to be my favori Disney character♥.

Here's how fans have chosen the favori wedding dress among Disney princesses.

9. Mulan's Official Wedding Dress (with Prince Jeeki):
In initial round, it was tied with Jasmine's and her wedding dress with Shang. It was surprising to note that while it was a tie, there were hardly any commentaires for Jasmine's dress.
Finally the tiebreaker results determined the first elimination with Mulan's official wedding dress. Most fans were put off with its unusually big headgear.

Okay so I really want to do this, but I really am not going to explain why. Because, well, I believe there is plus to liking a princess than just looks. But other than that, I just feel like I'm just going to keep saying "oh she's so pretty" ou "I just never found her attractive" over and over again in different words. So, I'm sorry for not leaving a description.

I probably should've put this article on the fanpop fan club, but this club has been my accueil for years. It's where I've made a lot of memories, have been part of a community that talks about plus than just Disney Princesses, has felt like a family, and has helped me A LOT through the years. So this article being published anywhere else on fanpop won't do any justice if it's not on this club. So without further delay, here is what being on fanpop has meant to me.

First of all, it's only fair to say that I did NOT get off to a good start when I first came here. It's embarrassing to talk about...

Hi everyone, I'm ApplesauceDoctr here today with a short article that's purely for fun. A while back I posté a vote where I associated some of the mushrooms in the game Plants vs. Zombies with the DPs, and now I wanted to expand on that while also providing some brief reasoning for my choices. Note that I'll be generalizing these characters quite a bit here, mostly looking at just one quality. This is all in good fun though, so let's begin! I'm actually going to start off with an unofficial princess:

Hi everyone, for those of toi who don't know, both films share a common theme with each other that I notice! Aside from being the most highest grossing films ever, here's my review base on my observations.

Titanic

In case toi guys might be watching the movie, during the scene where Jack and Fabrizio are playing poker just moments before the ship takes off. The 2 characters to whom they challenge are 2 Swedes name Olaf and Sven, when I watch this scene for the first time in many years. I keep thinking that the 2 Swedes are going to transform into a snowman and reindeer respectively!

 Which is your favourite?
Which is your favourite?
Since Korean entertainment has dominated the whole of Asia, here are the Disney Princesses' favourite Korean dramas and why they l’amour it!

Iris (Mulan & Shang)

This Korean drama is about spying and espionage, this drama reminds me of both Mulan and Shang because it teaches them about spying.

My Princess (Rapunzel & Flynn)

Although the story is very similar to the Princess Diaries, Rapunzel did not find out that she is a princess until later of the story.

Winter Sonata (Elsa, Kristoff & Anna)

As the titre mentions, this drama is very old but it Suits – Avocats sur Mesure the trios. Both stories are set...

My liste hasn't changed all that much but I thought after rewatching Aladin I would write an updated list.

13. Merida- Not a fan, I'm all for female empowerment but I don't like her attitude. She is just so rude & I do not find her likeable.

12. Elsa- She just really bugs me. I can't think of any other reasons but she just aggravates me.

11. Anna- Not keen on her either. She is not as bad as the other two but I'm not a fan, moving on.

10. Tiana- She is too much of a workaholic. I get that she has dreams to run her own restaurant but she can have fun once in awhile.

9. Jasmine- jasmin has really...

Here's my liste of Disney Princess couples, it's primarily based on what connected with me in their relationship and what i find admirable. I do have some ifs and buts with few couples but that's just my way of looking at how a relationship grow

1. Mulan and Shang:
Theirs a relation that I actually look up to with great admiration and respect. They both were mature to handle a relationship before falling for each other. Their l’amour grew out of mutual trust, understanding and respect rather than romantic feelings. It is to not say that romantic feelings are not true ou valuable, it's my personal...

Because I am still in a musical mood but also ready for the "autumn/Halloween" mood, I'd like to incorporate the two! There aren't many DP villain songs global, ensemble but I came up with at least 9 that were good enough to use for the sake of this countdown. I rated each of the songs against how villainous the lyrics were, how villainous the musique sounds, how villainous the scene that accompanies the song in the film is and how villainous is the goal of the villain (or just the villain itself) chant the song? I ranked each song in the 4 categories and then ranked them global, ensemble par accumulative "evil"...

Ah, feminism and Disney Princess. Such a complicated relationship. Now I'm not an expert, especially being a guy but the topic of feminism in relation to the DPs has always intrigued me. I'm gonna try my hand at ranking the princesses in terms of agency, independence, heroism and other aspects to figure out which one of them is the most feminist. I'm trying to expand my écriture skills so this is gonna be divisé, split into three parts, starting with the bottom four.
