I held the note in my hand, my palms were sweating causing the paper to go damp. It was my detention slip.
My first detention.
I have never gotten one, and I was not hoping for one. A straight A+ student, learning lessons that are 2 grades higher then my actual grade, and two parents who were proud to have a son like me. I think I would have been dead par now. But something made me plus nervous then scared. The thought sickened me.
