I guessed it was about time I made a couple confessions. The easy part was telling my parents; at least if they threw me out I could find a place to go. Telling my friends, well let’s just say whole different story.
It’s not that I was worried about losing my popularity; I mean I cared a bit. The main reason it was plus challenging telling them was for the team’s sake. Having a gay captain does not blow over well....
