There were some bits about the TV series that I liked better than the books, and bits about the books that I liked much better than the TV series. I guess I just loved the story. lol posted il y a plus d’un an.

	Flambardienne picked The TV series: I love both. K.M. Peyton writes so beautifully, and Yorkshire Television incorporated some wonderful humour into the TV series, giving both Will and Christina a more lighthearted personality than is depicted in the novels. I especially love the fun exchanges between Will, Sandy, Christina and Dorothy. The characters became more human as a result. But Flambards was K.M. Peyton's 'baby' and what a wonderful story and characters she created. In particular, 'Flambards in Summer' had me in tears from the very first page.
