Well I finally watched Hazbin Hotel, and I must say. It's much better than Helluva Boss, much as I like that montrer I don't really like the approach it was going, constantly throwing in plus and plus characters and getting away from it's simply premise of being sit com about assassins.

It works better in Hazbin, as it has room for all that world building much better in my opinion..

But I'll be honest, when I first watched the pilot back in thhe day, I thought it "okay".. Reminded me of those weird adult swim shows and I had mixed feelings about. Espically Angel Dust, and ironically Pentious who seemed like one of old school villains from old dessins animés and I had mixed thoughts on.

link

It wasn't til several rewatched that my l’amour for Pentious grew. But Angel Dust remains devisive for me, I never really know what to make about him.

The one character I did like on first watch was Alastor, his dark humour became the episode's highlight, and the one character I was excited for. After seeing the montrer I must say Alastor does not disappoint.

I had a lot complicated thoughts on this show. A lot of people saying it sucks and isn't good. But there's another side saying it's the best montrer of the modern era. It's good, but come on, there's a lot of good shows. On the haut, retour au début of my head there's Arcane and Ted.

Anyway so onto the show. It has this interesting of Lucifier basically the good guy this time. Hellsing did it with Dracula. Now Viv did with the literal Devil.

I have to admit, I am pretty mixed on the fact the montrer it a musical, I mean I'm not really a fan of those. But I do enjoy most of them, so there's that.. Espically Vox's song.

Anyway episode one introduces to Adam. I like him, but the fact he swears just about every line is the worry I had about this show. Most modern shows in general. There are other ways to express yourself, just as the Network guy from THE WORLD'S END..

But I do enjoy him, what's not to l’amour about a guy who plays guitare while closing a door.. Though he's also the guy constantly hits on Charlie.. Dude she's like your niece basically. That's really creepy.

Anyway episode 2 is when our boy Pentious shows up. Who appearently did not learn his lesson and is right back to attacking Alastor. Only to have literarly the exact same Cathulu thing happen to him again. Least this time he grabs a piece of Al's manteau and takes what little victory he can.

Vox later sends Pentious in a spy. A rather obvious one, we don't even have to have that lead in to know this snake guy is clearly up to something.

But despite I still lasted longer than just one episode. When Angel Dust finds the camera Pentious just immediately breaks character, when I found a plus interestingh premise would be Pentious trying to play dumb and nobody believe Angel right away. It's not like Vaggie would have much reason to believe anything Angel Dust has to say.

Regardless this leads to a cute moment of Charlie immediately forgiving him (rather naively, but thats' kinda the point of her). The song is a bit cringey, but the onverall moment is pretty adorable.

However, the suivant episode shows Pentious jouer la comédie like that parabnoid druggie who thinks any kinda positive human interacts means someone is out to kill them. Though it's also the episode we are re-introduced to his Egg Boi's, the adorable little minons who unlike the ones in Dispicable Me don't overrun their welcome to point I immediately switch the channel. Their cuteness maxed only par Charlie herself really.

I also never mentioned Niffty yet. I surprised myself with her being one of my favourite characters. She's just one giant red flag, and she 100% definetly went to hell for killing someone.. But she makes it work and it's entertaining.

Anyway, let's skip to Angel's pimp guy. I forget his name. The guy who remains one of the scariest characters in a montrer about demons and hell, cause he's disdurbingly real, people like that that will always exist in one way ou another. And so do people like people Angel sadly, the abused victim who is too timid to do anything.. ou literally can't this case.

There's this sad moment where Angel returns to hotel and Husk ask whats wrong, and Angel takes a moment before returning to his annoying abnoxuious self. That little moment I found plus powerful than most would, we see the mask come on.

However let's déplacer onto a happier note and when Husk is forced to help Angel Dust, it eventually leads into "Loser Baby". A song that makes me amazed that the fan service character is "not" the one voiced par Keith David and his dreamy voice.. I never seen princess and frog so I didn't even know Keith could sing like that.. Cool.

Anyway this than deals to a battle with literare Lone Sharks, a joke possibly taken from HelluvaBoss.

I don't have much to say the suivant few episodes, I liked them though. And there was something kinda adorable about Rosie simply smiling at Frank the Egg Boi, even though this scares him away.

Eventually we get to the big battle against Adam and his army. As a guy who likes the John Wick films mostly for the battles, I can say I did enjoy this a lot. Nothing wrong with a good long battle.

Sadly Pentious dies this episode, trying to kill Adm and dying immediately. A bit comedic actually, giveh the anti-climactic nature lof it.

This also has Niffty stab Adam.. Like 'a lot'. Like if she wasn't a red flag before this would settle it. But yeah global, ensemble I liked it.

And we also see Pentious goes to heaven. Which to me says we aren't done with him yet. Afterall Pentious is probably one of the most populaire characters. So I'm sure Viv wouldn't just exit him altogether..

Anyway that'sa it. Those are my thoughts. I'm sure I missed a lot, and I don't have much to say about Lucifier himself.. But otherwise please commentaire and leave your thoughts..

Batman: Dark Detective started with a six-issue arc in 2005. As a kid, I often collected aléatoire comics when my grandfather and mom took me to the comic book store. However, I managed to collect all six issues in the original story arc. In order to relive fond memories from the past and to bring attention to Batman comics, I will be reviewing each issue in the story arc. The review of the first issue is scheduled to come out on February 1st. The reviews of the other five issues will come out in the days following.

Here's some information to know ahead of time:

Batman: Dark Detective serves as...

2022's The Batman was a film that I really didn't care for. I was so upset par the film that I didn't act as rationally ou fair as I should have. I wanted to describe why the film didn't work for me in the most respectful way that I can.

I want to make it clear that if toi like the film, that's not a bad thing. In fact, if toi had a great time watching the film, I'm glad that toi had fun. My intention isn't to force ou pressure people to dislike the film as much as I do. My intention also isn't to mock anybody who worked on the film. I may not like Matt Reeves as a director ou Robert Pattinson...
