It is confirmed today that a live-action film based on halyosy\'s vocaloid song "Sakura no Ame" (
), originally released with Hatsune Miku\'s vocals in February 2008, is in the works. The graduation-themed song\'s original PV has been viewed over 2.6 million times on Nico Nico Douga.
Now it has become one of the most popular graduation songs in Japan, and has been used at many junior and senior high schools\' graduation ceremonies. While no staff and cast are confirmed (will Miku be in the story?), the film is scheduled to be released before the end of this year.

Meanwhile, PHP Institute has published five novel adaptations based on halyosy\'s original stories, the
latest 5th volume "Fire◎Flower: Kimi wo Suki de Irarete Yokkata" (
written by Hiromi Amamiya is just published today on March 7.
