My friend, Frank, has a 360. I go over to his house sometimes to game with him, and I became extremely interested in getting my own. When I researched the console online I became even plus convinced this was the console to get. But one tiny, little thing completely disintegrated all of my thoughts of getting a 360- the still un-released game, inFamous. This game had me amazed and since it was a PS3 exclusive and was produced par my favori studio, I decided to get a PS3 instead. And I am sooooooo glad that I did.

First off, simply unboxing this beautifully designed console was a marvelous experience. It was easy to get it out of the box and it wasn't covered in stupid plastic stuff and the like. toi simply pull it out, set it on a counter, and appreciate the sharp-looking console for a moment before plugging it in. The thing looks a lot plus sophisticated than both the Wii and 360. toi have to go over a few steps to set up the information for it, but once toi get that done everything's a cinch. Pop a game into the vacuum-like insertion slot and sit down. Unlike the PS2 toi don't have to press the reset button, which is great.

seconde off, the liste of games isn't massive, but most of the exclusives are absolutely awesome. Games such as LittleBigPlanet and MotorStorm that are designed especially for the console really montrer just what the PS3 can handle and provide. It's a very powerful console, and a lot of the graphics look even better than the 360's (Which are also pretty, but just aren't usually as impressive.)

The PS3 controller's batteries don't last as long as the 360's, but here's the good side- they're rechargeable, and toi just connect the controller to a plug that can be attached to the PlayStation and it'll do the rest while toi play one of your great games.

I am shamed to say, however, that I'm not yet connected to the PSN. As soon as I get an Ethernet cable hooked up in my room I'll review it.

Okay. It's time for the ultimate decision making. The PS3 ou 360?

First. Design. 360- I admit, it's pretty ugly. As well as rather bland. PS3- On the contrary this console is absolutely beautiful and has a slick design. Unfortunately all of that polish attracts dust and makes fingerprints, and you'll find the polished look of the console will decrease within even the first heure of play.

Second. Games. The 360 has a larger amount of games, but besides the games such as Halo 3 and Dead Rising, it's exclusives are mostly pretty underwhelming. The PS3 definetely has a smaller liste to choose from when it comes to your gaming experience but oh man, are those exclusives good. LittleBigPlanet will keep toi entertained for hours, MotorStorm is a hell of a racing experience, and inFamous- oh, inFamous- this game will absolutely have Microsoft begging for Sucker coup de poing Productions to make games for them. And ya know what? SP will refuse.

Third. Controllers. The 360 controller doesn't feel very comfortable in your hand alot of the time, but the PS3 controller is light and toi can adapt easy to it if you've played on the PS2 ou PS1 because they're the exact same with each console. PS3 is rechargeable, but 360 lasts longer... yet, toi have to get batteries for it... I'd say the PS3 controller, because even though it has a shorter life it can be recharged and ready to go in no time.

PS3- An elegant and stylish design, powerful technology, marvelous exclusives, rechargeable controller, and, of course, free-pretty-much-everything will l’amour toi over.
