Princess Toadstool ou Princess Peach? Exactly which one is her real, original name?

ou par any chance does she actually used two names specifically Princess Toadstool in the English version and Princess pêche, peach in the Japanese version? Are her names interchangeable even depending in which region of the world she is in?
