I honestly have no excuse for why this chapter is months late. -_- I told myself that this was going to take a long time editing, and I wanted to switch some things around. But, guess what? I didn't do that. So it's the same as it's been for years. -_- So, I'm really sorry. I know that probably no one is going to reply to this ou the rest of the story, but I'll keep posting. :)
Chapter 9- Don’t Stop the Music
I would say it was a pretty normal school week. I barely saw Sabrina and Puck at lunch for they kept getting lunch detentions. They kept chant to the teachers about having no homework ou canceling the tests. I thought the detentions were unfair. I mean, we are under a musical spell and we can’t help but sing our feelings out loud. We have no control over it! But, whatever. What is done is done.
Sabrina isn’t upset at me anymore, par the way. But from time to time she gives Puck and I suspicious looks.
Everyday after school I go to Puck’s room and give him plus advice. I really do want Sabrina to know what’s going on, so she’d stop giving me looks. Also because I trust her, but since Puck doesn’t want me to, I won’t. Also, one jour I went to his room and he asked me to borrow my digital camera. I let him borrow it, but he a dit I had to leave. When he was done using it, I asked if I could watch it. He a dit no, and I have to wait until he comes over to my house. I wanted to see it so bad, but I decided to wait anyway.
What was really on my mind most of the time was the Winter Wonderland dance. On the night of the dance, I got a ride from Victoria’s mom. We also picked up Kristen on the way. Once we were there we waited a minute before they let us in. When we were in the cafeteria, we talked a bit. Then I saw Sabrina and Puck walk in.
“Over here!” I called to them. They ran up to me.
“Hey Natasha!” Sabrina said.
“Hey!” I greeted her back.
“There’s barely anybody here,” Puck pointed out.
“I know,” I said. “Most of them are sixth graders.”
Once the lights went out, my Friends and I put our coats par the ice cream machine. Puck looked around the room.
“Aw man,” He said. “None of my Friends are here!”
I punched him playfully in the arm.
“Well, except for toi piggies of course,” He corrected himself fast.
“I thought so,” I muttered.
We decided to wait a little longer for plus kids to montrer up. No one else came.
“Might as well start dancing,” I sighed.
“But no one is dancing yet,” Victoria said.
She was right. Everybody was on the dance floor but nobody was dancing.
“They’ll start dancing when they play ‘The Cha Cha’ and songs like that,” Sabrina told us.
She was also right. Once the songs that everyone knew the dance moves to were on, everyone danced. My Friends and I hopped in and joined. When those songs were over, we danced freely to the rest of the songs. We basically did the same dance moves as we did on the Halloween dance we went to a couple months ago…except at that dance we had plus fun.
As we were dancing freely, Sabrina grabbed my arm and yanked me closer to her.
“Listen,” She whispered.
I put my ear closer to her.
“My stomach is bothering me. It’s probably because of what Granny made for dîner tonight. So I’m going to go to the bathroom for a while. toi can stay here and dance,” Sabrina told me.
“Okay. See toi later,” I called after her as she took off running.
“What’s wrong with her?” I heard Puck ask from behind me. I turned around to face him.
“She’s a little sick, she’ll be back in a little while,” I answered.
“Oh.”
As we continued dancing, I realized I felt the same temptation as I felt the last dance- to grab Puck close so we can dance side par side. Puck also looked really hot. Maybe it was his fantastic dancing that had me under his spell.
“Why are toi staring at me?” Puck asked me. I felt my cheeks go hot.
“Well…uh… I was just checking toi out,” I answered quickly.
“Checking my out?” Puck questioned. I saw one of his eyebrows was raised. We went back to back. When I swerved left, he swerved right. When I swerved right, he swerved left.
“Yeah, toi look good,” I replied honestly.
“Thanks.”
He swerved to the left.
“You’re a good dancer,” I told him.
He swerved to the right.
“You really think so?”
We swerved again.
“I know so.”
We stopped swerving and went face to face. He took my hand in his. Our arms went straight and he let me go. As I twirled he asked, “Well, what are toi feeling?”
Once I stopped twirling he grabbed my hand again and pulled me to him. He let me fall in his arms.
“You really want to know?” I asked in a soothing voice.
He pushed me a little and I twirled out of his arms to a few feet away from him.
“I do,” Puck said.
To my surprise, I started singing.
I sang, “It’s getting late. I’m making my way over to my favori place. I gotta get my body movin’, shake the stress away.”
I shimmied a little. Then I sang, “I wasn’t lookin’ for no body when toi looked my way. Now I wanna say, ‘Yeah’.”
I walked closer to him and sang, “Who knew? That you’d be up in here lookin’ like toi do? toi makin’ stayin’ over here impossible.”
I pointed to the floor.
“Baby, I’m sayin’ your aura is incredible. If toi don’t have to go, don’t!”
Then I stood right in front of him. “Do toi know what ya started? I just came here to party. Now we’re rockin’ on the dance floor actin’ naughty.”
He turned me around and pulled my body to his. He put his hands on my waist. We swayed a bit.
I continued, “Your hands are on my waist. Just let the musique play.”
He grabbed my hands and spun me around.
“We’re hand in hand, chest to chest, and now we’re face to face!” I sang.
I stepped back and my Friends went behind me dancing with me (like back-up dancers).
I continued, “I wanna take toi away! Let’s escape into the music. DJ let it play!”
I pointed to our dance’s DJ.
“I just can’t refuse it!”
My Friends and I raised our hand up to our face with our index finger pointing up. While we sang the line “reuse it”, we made our heads go right while out index finger went left. When our heads went left out fingers went right.
“Like the way toi do this. Keep on rockin’ to it!”
We jumped in the air while we pushed our hands in and out.
I continued, “Please don’t stop the- Please don’t stop the music.”
“I wanna take toi away!” I repeated. But then something weird happened. I looked down and realized that the clothes I wore to the dance we gone. Now a pretty blue dress took its place. The bottom part was like a mini skirt. The haut, retour au début had a v-cut with an inch of strap on my shoulders. Where the v-cut ended was a diamond circle. My hair was in the best style I could have it in at that moment. Also, my glasses disappeared and I could see everything clear. I knew this had to do with the musical spell. I glanced at my Friends and saw the same thing happened to them. Victoria had on a rose dress and Kristen had on a purple one (by the way, we also had on matching shoes!).
Suddenly going out of my shock, I continued chant doing the same moves as before. “Let’s escape into the music. DJ let it play! I just can’t refuse it! Like the way toi do this! Keep on rockin’ to it! Please don’t stop the- please don’t stop the- please don’t stop the music!”
I walked close to Puck again.
“Baby are toi ready cause it’s gettin’ cold?” I sang.
I hugged Puck and swayed. Then I let go and stepped back a foot.
“Don’t toi feel the passion ready to explode?”
While I was chant that, I was moving my hips. Then I spread out my arms a little and sucked my upper body in. suivant I put my body out again, with my arms going back with my hands closed. Then my arms went forward; my hands opened up when I sang “explode”.
I walked really close to Puck and put my finger on his lips. I sang, “What goes on between us no one has to know. This is a private show. Oh, oh!”
I backed up a little and put my body sideways. I put my left hand on my left hip and swerved slightly at Puck while I sang, “Do toi know what toi started? I just came here to party. Now we’re rockin’ on the dance floor actin’ naughty.”
Like before, Puck pulled me close to him and put his hands on my waist.
“Your hands are on my waist. Just let the musique play,” I continued.
I spun around and held Puck’s hands.
“We’re hand in hand. Chest to chest.”
I pulled myself closer to Puck.
“And now we’re face to face!”
I let go of his hands and backed up moving my hips.
“I wanna take toi away!” I sang. “Let’s escape into the music!”
Victoria and Kristen went on one side of me and back flipped in the air. Some other aléatoire girls flipped around me too.
“DJ let it play!” I continued.
Then a bunch of girls went behind me and danced with me.
“I just can’t refuse it! Like the way toi do this! Keep on rockin’ to it! Please don’t stop the- please don’t stop the music!”
I left the group and went to Puck. I took one of his hands.
“I wanna take toi away! Let’s escape into the music!”
We both jumped together forward.
“DJ let it play! I just can’t refuse it!
I let go of his hand and raised my two arms above my head. I put my two hands together forming a triangle over my head. I swung my head left and right.
“Like the way toi do this!”
I put my hands apart and my arms went down slowly, jerking my head from left to right.
“Keep on rockin’ to it! Please don’t stop the-”
I raised my hand like if I was saying, “stop”.
“Please don’t stop the- please don’t stop the music!”
I walked up to Puck and we walked in circles. Most of the girls on the dance floor made a huge cercle around us, putting Puck and I in the center. They walked in that cercle they made around us.
“Mamma se mamma sa ma coo sa. Mamma se mamma sa ma coo sa,” They chanted.
“Please don’t stop the music!” I sang.
“Mamma se mamma sa ma coo sa. Mamma se mama sa ma coo sa.”
“Please don’t stop the music!” I sang.
The word “music” echoed around us. Then there was only dance music. Puck pulled me to him. When I heard two claps in the music, I switched my butt twice. I popped my butt suivant to him, causing my mini jupe to bounce on Puck’s leg.
“Please don’t stop the music,” I sang again.
The musique still continued. Puck and I were dancing together an inch apart from each other. We were side par side, moving together. When I felt his hand sliding up my leg, I pushed his hand down. The people kept circling around us. I then backed away a little from him and sang, “I wanna take toi away! Let’s escape into the music. DJ let it play! I just can’t refuse it! Like the way toi do this! Keep on rockin’ to it. Please don’t stop the- please don’t stop the music!”
“Mamma se mamma sa ma coo sa. Mamma se mamma sa ma coo sa,” The people around us chanted again.
I danced my way slowly back to Puck.
“Mamma se mamma sa ma coo sa. Mamma se mamma sa ma coo sa.”
“Please don’t stop the music!” I sang.
Then there was no plus musique in the background. The people circling around us stopped in one spot. Puck took both of my hands and yanked me to him. Still holding my hands he slid me in between his legs.
“Mamma se mamma sa ma coo sa. Mamma se mamma sa ma coo sa,” The people still sang.
He twirled me around and dragged me back up. Then I went back down again, doing the same thing as before.
“Mamma se mamma sa ma coo sa. Mamma se mamma sa ma coo sa.”
“Please don’t stop the music!” I sang for the last time.
Puck had pulled me back up again. I had jumped when I was back on my feet. I had jumped straight into Puck’s arms with one leg on each side of him, holding me up. My hands were spread across his face and we were one inch away from kissing, though of course I would never do that.
Then from the corner of my eye, I saw someone had pushed their way through the cercle of people around us. Now the person was staring directly at Puck and I. I hopped off of him and saw who it was- an angry Sabrina Grimm.
“It’s not how it looks ‘Brina!” I said. “We were just dancing together, that’s all!”
“Sure toi were,” She said. But I could tell she didn’t believe me. In the dark I could still see the anger flaring in her eyes and her red face. Then we just stood there, looking at each other.
“Whatever,” Sabrina finally said. “I came here to dance and have fun, not stand around. So that’s what we’re going to do.”
I looked down and saw I was back in my original clothes and hairstyle. My glasses were also back.
As we started to dace to another song, Sabrina whispered to me, “Oh yeah. And my stomach feels better now, just so toi know.”

Hello! Here's a little poem I wrote a couple of months ago! Tell me what toi think. :)
“Moon To My Night”
toi are the moon to my night
A bright shining star
Your brilliance is light
And beautiful toi are
toi are the sun to my day
Like a bird toi fly
I cannot stay away
I wouldn’t even try
toi are the warmth to my summer
A fleur that blossoms in the spring
My cœur, coeur pounds like a drummer
When toi start to sing
toi are the first étoile, star to my night’s eve
On my cœur, coeur toi leave a shining mark
From now on I will forever believe
That toi will always light my dark
“Moon To My Night”
toi are the moon to my night
A bright shining star
Your brilliance is light
And beautiful toi are
toi are the sun to my day
Like a bird toi fly
I cannot stay away
I wouldn’t even try
toi are the warmth to my summer
A fleur that blossoms in the spring
My cœur, coeur pounds like a drummer
When toi start to sing
toi are the first étoile, star to my night’s eve
On my cœur, coeur toi leave a shining mark
From now on I will forever believe
That toi will always light my dark
