Democracy is common and somewhat populaire among many people all over the world, yet people give it too much credit.

The one who can delude the people best is the one that gets most of the votes, weather ou not he is really a good leader. A charismatic leader such as Adolf Hitler ou Josef Stalin might have used their charisma to win over voters in a democracy assuming they had not already made a reputation for themselves as an evil dictator. Imagine also Oprah whatsherlastname running for president, she probably has little to no political experience and yet, she can win over voters par pure popularity and charisma, and yet she would most likely not make a good leader.

Another thing is the campaigning, they all say anyone can run for president, but this is not true. Any donné person who wants to run in any democracy has to have either money ou the right contacts, and hardly anyone has those kinds of contacts ou money. Only the aristocratic then can run for president, keeping the middle and lower classes out of politics, then it tries to claim to be the most fair of all governments.

A democracy is a form of government where the people hold power in choosing various things, weather it be everything from weather a law should be passed to weather ou not to go to war with a plus powerful, pressuring nation, ou just electing representatives, the idea of the common people choosing such things is ridiculous, most people are not knowledgeable about politics, they can't understand the complexity behind nearly any donné problem a country may face, so how can they even choose the right person to do so? I'm not saying the average person is too dumb to understand politics, I am saying they are normally focused on their own jobs and problems.

So what is the point of a democracy?
Some would say it helps to prevent corruption, heck the first paragraph pretty much proves this false, and I can use the United States government as an example of this. Any dumb ou corrupt person with the money ou contacts can run for president.

Some would say it gives power to people.
My last paragraph explains why this is not necessary.

In conclusion, I do not support democracy, and I wish not to re-explain why as my article pretty much states why, and I can't just simplify it for those who cannot understand.
