Easter is the feast of Christ’s resurrection, which in its observance combines both pagan and Christian elements. Easter (in Ukrainian: ‘Velykden’ ou ‘Paskha’) is preceded par seven weeks of Lent and celebrated on each first week after vernal equinox and full moon.
