Well, Edward is a mythical character, and Taylor Lautner is an ACTUAL person. But, I would definately chose Edward. There is just something about his feirce protectiveness and charming personality that makes him my pick. He always cares for Bella and puts her needs first. He always gives her what she wants/needs (or BOTH!) and won't stop until he does. That makes his special. Don't get me wrong, Taylor Lautner is hot and all, but I go Edward all the way. Jacob's hot, but Edward, well, he's sexy. :)
Edward from the book is par far hotter than Taylor Lautner because he is one of a kind and described as perfect as no other guy could ever be. But with Robert Pattinson as him i'd say Taylor is hotter cause he has a nicer chest even if he does sound like a pof. global, ensemble Edward
