This Is My Life Chapter Thirteen
"I went out." I stated. "Why does it matter?"
"Well, the woods are dangerous when a beautiful girl like toi goes in there alone." Nick said. "Just please be careful."
"Nick, I can defend myself against anything." I said. "I do not need toi to protect me."
"You are right, I am sorry. I am just being over protective." He stated.
"Why are toi being over protective?" I asked.
"It does not matter, toi probably have boyfriend back wherever toi lived." He a dit as I became surprised.
Nick, the guy that was standing in front of me, likes me.
"Are toi saying that toi like me?" I asked.
I watched as Nick took a deep breathe and a dit "Yeah, I guess I am".
"I am sorry but I have not known toi that long. But can we be friends?" I asked hopeful.
"Yeah, better than nothing." Nick smiled.
"I guess so." I laughed a little.
"Do toi want to come to church with me tonight?" He asked sort of fast.
"Church? toi go to church?" I asked in disbelief.
"I know it does not seem like I am the type of person to go to church. But it is not that bad; it is actually fun." He said.
"Sure, I will come. What should I wear to church?" I asked. "A dress?"
"Nah, toi can wear blue jeans and shirt." He shrugged.
"Okay cool." I said. "Have toi lived here all your life?"
"Sure have. Been living in that house for sixteen years." He stated.
"That is cool. I use to live here when I was really little ou so dad told me. But than we moved to my last accueil until dad wanted to déplacer here." I said.
"Oh, that sounds cool?" He asked.
"I guess." I shrugged.
"What did I all miss in school?" Nick asked.
"Here is all my notes, toi can copy them if toi like." I said.
"Okay cool. Thanks." He said. "What is your favori part about living here?"
"Hm, I am not sure. I guess the cliffs." I a dit thinking.
"You like rock climbing?" He asked surprised.
"Yeah, it is a hobby of mine. There were not many places back accueil to climb but here, there are so many different places!" I said.
"I bet, every rock is different." Nick smiled.
"That is true." I a dit agreeing.
"Well, I am going to go. But I will come over at 6:50 to pick toi up. Is that okay?" He asked.
"Sure, sounds good." I said.
"Okay, see toi tonight." He smiled.
Wow I think I have a rendez-vous amoureux, date with Nick tonight. Weird, oh well, it should be fun, right? I hope so.
