Chapter 28
Everyone loves Friday
I don’t know if Meredith was angry with the cafeteria’s outburst, I haven’t talked to her since that incident, not that we talked much. Sometimes I’d walk past and she’d give me the normal sweet yet lethal look she always did. She’s been skipping some class, one time when she skipped gym some girl’s in the locker room were talking about how vicious she’s gotten. Then one a dit how Grey totally rejected her and she isn’t happy.
But luckily the days passed on happily, school became uneventful and I was excited for the event to come. What event? Stop jouer la comédie like toi don’t know, bub’s.
Guess what jour it is?!
It’s Friday! The glorious jour before Saturday and after Thursday! Excited? Heck yeah! My gal’s were just as excited, they even surprised me par giving me this outfit they bought the jour before. It’s gorgeous, not too dressy but casual.
And par dressy I mean this hideous dressy dress you’d wear to something formal, no it’s simple and totally me. It’s a nice dark forest green blouse, with these nice shorts (black) complete with the same dark green knee socks and cute mellow heels. I know, I am a big fashionista!
Plus, to add to the cute effect factor, Beth put this cute little bow in my hair, making me look cuter and prettier to look at. suivant came the make-up which, well…make-up and I, bad history, Ali did that.
Sage did my hair, which looked awesome, for the first time curly, and looking perfect. And Beth, well she picked the outfit, and styled me up a bit, giving me a bourse, sac à main to put my belonging’s in. I was ready to go.
And I was losing it.
“Should I go? I look awful. Will he like it? He’s a college man! Look at me, I’m pre-school! Oh, this’ll end horrible, I just know it!” I yelled, freaking out, the gal’s were trying to calm me down, keeping me in my chair to not reck their beautiful creation.
There words, not mine.
“Stop it!” Sage hissed, throwing an annoyed glance. “This took a lot of time no way are toi ruining it!”
Ali nodded. “Or we’ll get the cuffs.”
Beth, being the sweet person of the group, was the only one trying to soothe me. “Look, I know you’re a bit scared Rosebud, and super nervous. I know how toi feel because I was put in that seat. Remember, my rendez-vous amoureux, date with Grey?”
I nodded fervently.
Beth smiled. “I was super nervous, and I didn’t know what to wear, and this and that. But, I just picked an outfit and went there, and it turned out to be awesome. Grey was really sweet, and…well not thinking about the interruption, everything was just…nice.”
“Nice,” I repeated.
“Yes! Nice,” Beth patted my arm. “Your going to have a great time, know stop being such a baby Rosebud. Your Pammy Jones, not some girl who freaks out and treats first dates like it‘s the most important thing in the world. Don’t overdose it.”
I nodded. “Your right. My name is Pam…ela, and I will not back down and be a baby. Gal’s! This rendez-vous amoureux, date is happening!”
The girl’s cheered, and I grinned cheekily back. Only a few minutes to montrer time, and I believed, (hoped plus like it) that I was ready.
