Jealousy, an evil emotion
I am going to kill a certain girl named Meredith Baxter! She’s totally after my guy Cal, during the whole jour today, she’s always suivant to him, flirting with him, touching him, smiling at him. And every time she looked my way she smirked at me, she knew what she was doing!
But I don’t know why I’m getting the bad treatment from her, I didn’t do anything. Unless toi extract the fact that I totally set Grey and Beth up for a rendez-vous amoureux, date this Friday. But how could she know that? It happened just before school started, and no one else was there but us.
And she must know because she’s giving Beth the frost treatment to, she’s giving all my Friends a hard time!
“That stupid suck up! Thinks she can treat us like trash! Oh! Let me tell you, when I get my hands on her-”
“Pam!” Beth cuts off my angry yells. “Your parents will hear you!”
“They aren’t home,” I huff, as I fall on my bed.
“Come on, bubs, we’ve endured the cruel treatment of Meredith Baxter, we totally can handle this,” Ali said, while looking at my computer. She’s the radar today, which basically means, whenever were on the phone ou at each other’s houses, someone will check for computer status, but so far all Meredith wrote was the awesome time she was spending with Cal.
I’m burying her.
“Ali’s right Pumpkin, don’t let her get to you, that’s what she wants.” Sage says rubbing my arm.
“But she’s going after my guy, the guy I’ve liked since forever, she’s never been interested before, but now she is,” my tone takes a amer edge.
“Jealousy,” Beth shudders. “An evil emotion, it’ll make toi do horrid things Rosebud, don’t let it.”
I smile as Beth says my favori nickname she’s donné me. “Okay. I’ll try.”
“Keyword on being try,” Ali says, making us all laugh as I throw my oreiller at her.
“So anything else that she demon posted?” I asked Ali, who snorted.
“No, the girl’s totally horrible on here as she is in school. She’s way boring to, she has absolutely nothing planned today.”
“Because she’s spending time with my future boyfriend,” I say. “But just yesterday she threatened me to stay away from Grey.
“Chick’s got some issues,” Sage says, pausing.
Beth pats me comfortingly on the back. “Like I said, being jealous is the worst toi can feel right now. Your going to get yourself into a huge mess, just calm down.”
“I’m calm, I’m calm.” I say, but we all know that’s a lie.
Beth sighs as she stand up, she grabs hold of my shoulders and shakes me a bit. “Pamela Ardianna Jones, don’t toi dare let that witch get to you, she has nothing on you. Your prettier, funnier, and way nicer, toi can make a friend just par saying hi, she needs her daddy’s money to.”
Beth pauses. “Okay, so sure Cal may be hot, ou whatever, but right now he’s just a crush. Your going to ruin yourself for one boy, just because a spoiled self absorbed brat is jealous. Are toi going to let her get you?”
“Am I?” I say, still Lost at the nothing on toi part.
“You’re a smart girl, Pammy, toi may not be smart smart-”
“Hey!”
“-but your still smart. And we l’amour toi just the way toi are, it’s kind of hard not to, your just too likeable.”
“You called me Pamela?” I asked, still shocked.
Beth nodded. “Yeah, so? I’ve been your best friend since forever, the least toi could let me do is get the privilege of having being able to say it once without your fist meeting my face.”
I sighed. “Okay, I’ll be calm, I’ll humor toi for a bit.”
“Really!” Sage’s eyes brightened. “Pamela!”
“Pamela!” Ali yelled.
“Pamela!” Beth joined in.
Soon enough they were chanting it as if they were possessed and I have them this exasperated/ bored glare.
A few minutes later.
“OKAY! YOU’VE HAD YOUR FUN, I a dit A LITTLE WHILE, NOT AN ENTERNITY. SO SHUT UP!”
Like I told you, I have some major anger issues.
Instead of being frightened the girl’s all shared one look that I knew too well. Oh no…
“PAMELA!” They all yelled at the haut, retour au début of their lungs before tackling me on my bed.
