Summary: Jonah Grey is really getting on my nerves. Everyday at lunch he keeps on throwing Candy to my spot at the table, tableau with my friends. Why? He’s trying to aggravate me…or maybe not.
+
“He’s doing it again! Why can’t he stop!” I whined, swatting away a Candy bar.
“You should just talk to him, that’s all he wants.” Vivian, my best friend since pre-k suggested.
I scoffed. “All he wants is another reason to annoy me.”
Vivian glanced at me carefully. “You know he feels sorry.”
“Just drop it, okay.” I said, tiredly, rubbing my temples.
You see, over a few weeks ago, Jonah and I started dating, we were close Friends and we felt there was more. But during our précédant time of us being ‘together’ I caught Jonah s’embrasser another girl.
Kissing! Another! Girl!
Who happened to be a person I despised and made my life a living hell since middle school. So after that I broke up with Jonah as Friends and plus than friends.
He keeps on telling me that he’s sorry, that it didn’t mean anything, that she kissed him. But he kissed her back, he betrayed me, and I can’t see anything repairing between us too, I’m just done.

I walked to class and sat at my normal seat, suivant to Jessica, my preppy other friend in my group of friends. But don’t let her preppy-preppy I’m a goody two shoes appearance fool you, she can be pretty wild and she doesn’t like school that much.
As for me, I like school, I know totally nerdy and all, but I’m just fascinated here. We learn new things and make new friends, I owe school a lot, it’s a refreshing distraction. That is, if Jonah Grey didn’t exist.
“Hey nerdy boo!” Jessica squealed, hugging me.
“Hey preppy poo!” I squealed just as enthusiastically hugging her back.
“So did toi hear?” Jessica said, while putting her lip gloss on, we were early and the cloche, bell wouldn’t ring for about four minutes, so we had time.
“Hear what?” I asked. Jessica was the gossip one in our group, she knew everything and everyone that went around this school.
“That were having a pop quiz?” She raised an eyebrow at me.
I groaned. “How did toi know?”
“Nothing gets past me,” Jessica a dit mysteriously, winking at me. She turned her head and her grin dimmed a little. “Jerk coming this way.”
I turned my head, seeing no other than Jonah walk into class. His eyes landed on me, and we just stared at each other for a few seconds, before the cloche, bell rung and he quickly walked to his seat.
Jessica rolled her eyes. “When is he ever gonna get it through his head, poor thing still thinks he has a chance.”
When she looked pointedly at me, I looked away, squirming uncomfortably. I didn’t like that look in her eye, it was one of annoyance and jealousy. Jessica may be the populaire one in our little group, but she was also lonely, her relationships have never ended well, and she always has crushes on any guy who lands on her eye, convinced that he’s ‘the one’. But there always not, Jessica either gets used ou cheated on.
But that’s because she always picks the wrong guy, we warn her but she doesn’t listen. So of course she would be jealous of an ex-boyfriend who’s determined to win me back.
Classes went par in a blur and then it was time to head home. But as I was making my way to my bus an arm grabbed. Startled I turned and faced my attacker, ready to scream but I instantly scowled.
“What do toi want?”
Jonah rolled his eyes. “You already know what I want, ou plus accurately who I want.”
I felt my cheeks heat up as I looked away from his intense gaze. “Let me rephrase that, what are toi doing?”
“I just needed to talk to you,” he explained. “But gosh woman! toi déplacer fast, and I can’t keep up all the time, I had to get your attention.”
“By pretending to attack me!” I yelled incredulously.
“It got your attention didn’t it?”
Jonah went on ignoring my fiery glare, which wasn’t working it’s looks can kill magic. “I just…wanted to tell toi I’m sorry-”
“You already a dit this a million times!”
“Well I’m saying it again!” He yelled, glaring at me, but continued in a much softer voice. “Just let me finish, okay?”
I crossed my arms, but didn’t say anything.
“I messed up big time, Fawn,” he paused, and I felt the usual tingly sensation when he a dit my name. “I know I kissed her back, it was wrong, but it really didn’t mean anything. I l’amour you! Not her! Look, I’m not asking toi to get back with me, I just need to know toi forgive me.”
“I’ve already said-”
“But did toi really mean it? Were not Friends anymore, we barely talk anymore, and toi can barely look me in the eye.”
“Jonah, I don’t think I can.” I say, quietly, feeling tears pool my eyes.
“I’m not rushing you,” he whispered, tucking a lock of my hair behind my ear. “But please tell me what your answer is at lunch.”
“Lunch? What does lunch have to do with any of this?”
“You’ll know at lunch.”
With that he lightly brushed his lips on mine, and swiftly turned away, heading off in the direction I assumed he came from.
+
“Then he just kissed me, and walked away!”
“Interesting…” Jason, my adopted brother a dit after I told him everything that happened, rubbing his chin, eyes scrunched adorably up in thought.
“What am I going to do Jay? I mean, I want to forgive him, give us another try, but…”
“But what?” Jason asked patiently, as if he was a psychiatrist and I, his patient.
“I’m afraid if I let him back in my life, he’ll screw up again, I don’t thing anything can be repaired between us. Do you?”
“You say every single lunch time he throws chocolat bars at you, right?” He continued when I nodded. “Well, what if that chocolat bar symbolizes your relationship?”
I gave him a blank look.
Jason rolled his eyes. “The chocolat bar, is like your relationship, which is now up in the air falling ready to hit the ground and break and be gone forever. What if he wants toi to pick that chocolat bar up, as your way of saying ‘I forgive you, let’s start over’.”
“Do toi really think so?”
Jason shrugged. “Makes the most sense.”
“Is it worth a try?”
“It is, Fawn, take a risk.”
I grinned at him. “You should look into becoming a psychiatrist, your really good.”
Jason wrinkled his nose. “And listen to people’s problems when I have my own, no way, I’m only doing this because I l’amour toi sis.”
I hugged him hard. “I l’amour toi too buddy."

The weekend passed par quickly, and Monday rolled over soon and lunch came even faster. My cœur, coeur pounded as I saw Jonah who was busy talking to his cronies.
“I think it’s time,” I tell Vivian and Jessica, who nod at me encouraged. We get our nourriture and the time for Candy throwing comes, I’m impatient and occasionally look to his table.
But I soon get tired of turning my head, so I paid attention to my Friends and ate my lunch. As if rehearsed a Candy bar soars through the air, landing right in my tray of delicious food. Normally, I would’ve been angry at a good meal ruined. But today, I smile as I pick the Candy bar up, and hold it in the air.

He woke up all alone in the darkness. He felt something
cold and metallic around his wrist. What the hell? What's going on? He had been handcuffed before, but not like this. He's an escape artist, illusionist even. He's a very famous man, living in the sinful and colorful city of Las Vegas, Nevada. Yet, why is he locked in this room all alone? He looked down and noticed he was shirtless. Where's my shirt? His muscular tanned abs were exposed in the dark room, as he felt his long dark hair touching his shoulders and below his neck. He pulled on the handcuff. Damn it! I've escaped out of these before! Why isn't it working now?
He heard footsteps coming, as his cœur, coeur started to race. He heard a giggle, as a blonde girl wearing his symbols and clothing line stood before him. She smiled in a sinister way, "Hello, Mr. Angel! We've been expecting you!"
