Has anyone read the books? Maryam sacrifices Sam? How she dies?

In the livres she doesn't want ou try to sacrifice Sam (they just hook-up).
Nor does anybody try to kill her, she doesn't die in the book.

The livres can't help us with that, It never happened. Not only (in the books) does Sam like the Maenad and she likes him, she doesn't die in the book, she just gets paid her tribute and leaves, she is only a minor plot point in the book

Yeah, in the book once she has her tribute she is satisfied and she leaves Bon Temps. I very much doubt that the montrer is gonna be anywhere that easy.

All the previously mentioned réponses to this questions are reasons I would say, read the book! they are light reads and fun, if toi hate reading, pretend your lire the script of the upcoming season (even though the book will be 100x different then the show). the detail in the book and plots are just as appealing, exciting and interesting as the montrer itself.
