We auditioned for about five months. I would never live down my position with Douglas, but I had to live with it.
One day, I arrived at practice and sat on the stage. I was early, about ten minutes, and no one else was there.
I was sitting on the stage, kicking my feet over the edge, then Mrs. M and everybody else walked in. Practice had actually gone really smoothly. I had a solo copied song, a duet copied song with Douglas, and I could perform one of my owen songs at the end with everybody else. Well, I wasn't the only singer. Douglas had a copied solo, Jessica had a copied duet with Caitlyn, Bryan and Rachel has a copied duet. So, pretty much, only one song wasn't copied.
Every thing had gone really well. There were almost no jouer la comédie mistakes, and if there was, someone sneezed ou coughed.
But that was about two months ago, and now everybody is flawless.
Douglas sat on the stage away from me. I stared down, and thought of my grandfather who died on 9/11. I started crying, and Doug scooted over to me.
"What's wrong, Brittani F?" he asked.
I didn't answer. Instead, I buried my face into his chest and cried into his shirt. He wrapped his arms around me, and I knew he was thinking "Thank you, God!".
I sniffed and pulled out of his arms. "I miss my grandfather." I said.
"Wherever he is now, he'd be very pround of you, Bella Ann." Doug put his hand on my shoulder to comfort me. If you've read my article Best Friends' Bonds Burned Down part 6, you'd know that my fanfic person's real name is Bella Ann Chippendale. Well, that's my real name in real life, too. Weird, huh?
I sniffled and nodded. "Thank you." I looked at him.
He nodded. "You're welcome, Bella Ann."
Now normally, if anyone called me Bella Ann, I would've punched them in the mouth ou kicked them in their balls, but I allowed Douglas to call me Bella Ann. He's the only one who's called me that and meant it as to comfort me. Usually if people call me that, it's to annoy me.
"OK, people! Places!" Mrs. M clapped her hands. We had stations at the beginning of the musical, and since the subject was Episode 12 of Total Drama Island, my station started outside at a cabin. We had built a small wood deck and used a cabine backround and cut a door in it for me to enter.
Mrs. M sat at a piano and started playing.
Douglas stood outside the cabin, gazing off toward the audience, although there wasn't one.
Well, suivant week was the real deal, and I made sure I aced the last practice, and I did.
SORRY THIS ONE IS SO SHORT, BUT TUNE IN suivant TIME TO SEE THEIR PERFORMANCES!!!!!!
