Yes, Dark Shadows had its funny moments, and the visual aspects were a joy to look at (- that is the reason why I'm still a "fan".) But overall, I sadly have to admit that it was one of Tim Burton's not so great films... Additionally, I dare to say that it's - in my opinion - mostly the fault of the scriptwriter, Seth Grahame-Smith. It was funny, clever, with a great story and great acting. The people who said they hated it online said it was because it wasn't like the original. DUH!
