Christmas Chase

The Island Of Sodor was covered with snow. Everywhere the engines looked, they could see nothing, but snow. Sir Tophamm Hat had a special assignment for Thomas.

Sir Tophamm Hat: I got a Christmas arbre that will be arriving in Brendam Docks soon. Once toi get it, I want toi to bring the arbre right to Knapford Station.
Thomas: toi can count on me sir. *Goes to get tree*

However, on his way to get the tree, Thomas found out that it was missing.

Adam: *Arrives with a freight train*
Thomas: Adam, have toi seen any Christmas trees around here?
Adam: No, I haven't.
Salty: *Stops suivant to Thomas* I saw Diesel taking it. He a dit it was for everyone at the diesel works.
Thomas: Diesel! Whenever he does something, toi always know he's up to no good. I must get that arbre back. *Goes to the Dieselworks*

At the dieselworks, Diesel 10 was with Diesel, Arry, Bert, D261, D199, and Paxton.

Diesel 10: Haha! We have become succesful in stealing the christmas tree!
Arry: Well done Diesel.
Bert: toi did a great job on getting us this tree.
Diesel: Thank toi all.
Thomas: *Arrives* That Christmas arbre does not belong to you!
Diesel 10: Oh great. Here we go again.
D261: Where's Percy?
Thomas: He's being useful, unlike toi arbre stealing villains.
Paxton: Do toi still have that power to go over the sound barrier?
Thomas: Yes I do. *Quickly couples up to freight car with tree, and takes off*
Diesel 10: Stop him!
Arry, and Bert: *Going after Thomas*
Paxton: Oh no toi don't! *Blocking Arry, and Bert*
Bert: Get out of our way!
Paxton: toi can't go after him. He's too fast.
Arry: There's no way an engine like him can break the sound barrier. We're going after him.

Meanwhile, Thomas had to stop for plus fuel.

Thomas: *Looks around him* They're not chasing me. Good. I finally have enough time to get plus coal, and water.
Arry: *Looking in front of him*
Bert: Do toi see him?
Arry: I think so, but I'm not positive.
Thomas' Driver: *Finishes refueling Thomas* We're fully loaded Thomas. Let's get this arbre to Knapford quickly.
Thomas: Right. *Goes to knapford*
Thomas' Driver: *Looks behind* I see two pairs of headlamps, but no steam. It might be Arry, and Bert.
Thomas: How fast are they going?
Thomas' Driver: I think they're close to doing 100 miles an hour. We better go faster.
Thomas: *Goes faster*
D261: *On the track suivant to Thomas* Hello puffball.
Thomas: How did toi catch up to me?
D261: Shortcut. I was going to get revenge on Stepney for embarrasing me in front of that inspector with the melon, chapeau melon hat, but since he's not around, I'll have to go after you.
Thomas: toi may have caught up, but let's see if toi can keep up with me now. *Goes 300 miles an hour*
D261: *Stops, and is very shocked*
Thomas: I need to get this arbre to Knapford immediately.

Thomas was going so fast, that he was close to breaking the sound barrier.

Thomas' Driver: We're almost there.
Thomas: I hope so.

A loud banging noise was heard, and Thomas gathered plus speed.

Thomas: What was that?
Thomas' Driver: That was a sonic boom. toi did it Thomas. toi broke the sound barrier.
Thomas: Haha! *Applies his brakes*

Despite his very high speed, Thomas stopped safely at the station platform in Knapford.

Sir Tophamm Hat: Thomas, I heard that sonic boom toi created, and I also heard that toi got the arbre from Diesel 10, and his engines after they a volé, étole it. toi are a really useful, and Rebelle engine.
Thomas: Thank toi Sir Tophamm Hat.

The suivant day, the arbre was set up at Knapford, and everyone saw the decorations being put up. It was the most beautiful arbre on the island.
