After Summer found out that her family had decided to attend the therapy appointments with Kyle and herself, it was Kyle’s turn to find out wha his family had decided and they told him at Nicole’s school play what their decision was. “Kyle? toi a dit that your therapist would like to see both sets of families along with the two of you. It’s time that we, the Abbotts, accept the fact that your loyalty is no longer to just us but Summer and the family the two of toi are creating together as well which involves the Newmans since she obviously will be taking our last name once you’re married.” Jack told Kyle.
    Hearing that their families had agreed to come to sessions with them, Kyle and Summer decided that they needed to call their therapist to make an appointment for the first session with both sets of families in addition to the two of them. “You’ve reached the office of Doctor Jason Roberts, who is a board certified couples therapist. May I ask who is calling?” the receptionist asked.
    “This is Kyle Abbott and Summer Newman. We would like to inform Doctor Roberts that our families have agreed to attend therapy with us and we need to schedule the first appointment with both sets in addition to us. He a dit for us to call and let him know once we had their decision.”
    “Of course, Mr. Abbott and Miss Newman. Let me patch toi through to Doctor Roberts.”
    “Thank you.”
    Once they were patched through, Kyle and Summer had decided that she would be the one who would inform their therapist about the decision that their families had made. “Dr. Roberts? This is Summer speaking. Kyle and I would like to inform toi that we spoke to our families and both sets have agreed to come in for some sessions. Where do we go from here?”
    “See if your families would be willing to come in when the two of toi have your suivant appointment. If they can, we’ll start from there and either one of toi could inform them about what we’ve talked about so far regarding them and their war. If they can’t, find out a time when they’ll be willing and tell me at your suivant appointment.”
    “We’ll do that. Thank toi for your time, Dr. Roberts. We will see toi at our suivant appointment.”
    “You’re welcome, Summer.”
    After hanging up from Dr. Roberts, Summer told Kyle about what he had a dit and they decided that they would ask their families after Nicole’s school play was done. Both Kyle and Summer hade made the decision after they had heard the news about Kyle’s divorce that they would finally start making wedding plans. What Summer didn’t tell Kyle was that she already had their dream wedding planned in a notebook that she had made as a little girl after they had met and started getting to know each other. “Kyle? We should write our own wedding vows again because I know that your vows will be romantic just like mine will be romantic.”
    “I thought we had already agreed that we would write our own wedding vows.”
    “We did but I wanted toi to know for sure.”
    Since they knew that winter was fast approaching, Kyle and Summer had made the decision that they would enroll Nicole in both figure skating and ice hockey because they had asked her what winter sports she would want to learn and those were the two that she told them. Kyle was hoping that Nicole would grow to l’amour hockey like him while Summer was hoping tha Nicole would like figure skating like her. “Kyle? I’m going to ask my father if he remembers where we put all of my skating things because I wanted Nicole to have them if they fit her. Obviously, we have to buy her hockey stuff which toi can get with her but I was hoping not to buy skating gear.”
