I know a lot fans didn't like it, but The X-files can do no wrong in my eyes, and it still better than some of the crap that is on T.V. now.

Ahh I hate to break up the love for the movie, but I'd hyped it up so much in my head and had been waiting for like, 10 years for this and was pretty disappointed. I just didn't like Scully's character at all really, and it just seemed like they had given up on the cause. At the end of The Truth you had that hopeful feeling as they travelled off into the desert together that they were gonna keep going and looking for a cure or a way to stop the invasion. Watching IWTB kinda ruined that for me.

That aside, I still watched it numerous times at the movies and bought it on DVD the day it came out and am really happy they did another movie, but I just get angry when I think what they could have done with the chance to finish (or continue) the story. And Skinner shoulda been in it more!

Absolutely NOT. I disliked it a lot. I can't even enjoy rewatching it at home on DVD. I wish it had never been made.
