It was a good finale.

I liked pretty much everything. The fight scenes were cool, but too dark, as usual.

I really loved the moments we got between Carol and Lydia, I hope there's more to that in the future episodes.

CONNIE LIVES!!! I'm so happy about that, but kinda bummed out that Virgil is the one that found her.


Things I was disappointed about:
- Beatrice dying. She was an interesting character.
- The fact that they didn't make more comments on the fact that Beta was a famous singer, just barely grazed by Negan's comment.
- Beta's death being taking away from Aaron. Though I kinda saw this coming that they would give it to Daryl instead.
- Maggie saving Gabriel. Urgh. I finally thought he was gonna die!
- Not finding out who the masked person is.
- Seeing the Commonwealth guards without showing Mercer!

I probably should have watched a recap of the season, because I had no idea what was going on lol.

Overall, I was pretty bored. I did like that there were some heavy horror elements, but nothing was terribly exciting.

"The fact that they didn't make more comments on the fact that Beta was a famous singer, just barely grazed by Negan's comment" - OOOOOHHHHHHH that's what that moment was about lololololol. I was racking my brains trying to think what that meant because I was pretty sure everyone knew Beta was Alpha's second-in-command, so recognising Beta as a famous person pre-apocalypse makes that moment make a lot more sense. They were way too subtle with that one lol.

^and then on Talking Dead they laughed at the fact that Daryl didn't seem to know who he was and Reedus said that Daryl needed to update his Spotify.

In the comics he's actually a famous football player. But in the show they went with country singer. Magna listens to one of his albums earlier in the season.

Yeah, I remembered how they set all that up as soon as I saw your comment, but the moment in the show was waaaaay too subtle. Probably also my bad for not watching or reading any season recap to remind me of what the heck was going on lol.
