It was called New Walking Dead Promo Reveals Major Tragedy | Vanity Fair
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:

Things are looking very grim for our heroes. What else is new?
Season 6. At first glance it seems spoiler-free, but if you look a little deeper, several clues about the tragedy awaiting our scrappy band of zombie survivalists become clear. “This image gives a look at tiny pieces of a larger world our group is about to discover,” show-runner Scott Gimple said in a statement. “In the new world, they’ll find hope, possibility, tragedy and the terrifying cost of change.” Here’s a spoiler-free look at the image, with some deeper analysis of what that cost may be, below the photo.
The first thing that jumps out is, obviously, the hand motif. The most recognizable image is one we’ve already seen on the show and again in the teaser for the second half of Season 6: Carl and Jessie holding hands.
As we’ve already covered in detail here, this is likely hinting at the deeply sad comic-book story where Jessie, grabbing Carl’s hand during the panic of a zombie onslaught, forces Rick to cut her off at the wrist. Rick chooses his son over his new girlfriend and Jessie goes down.
But in the upper-right-hand corner we also have Carol’s hand oddly clutching a crucifix. (We know it’s Carol’s hand from the telltale jacket cuff.) Will Carol find religion? Unlikely. But she
be the one to finally put the rather useless Father Gabriel out of his misery. We haven’t seen anyone wearing a rosary on the show yet, but
Then we also have what looks like a walker wearing a wedding ring in the upper-middle section. That’s clearly Deanna (you can tell by the necklace) come back from the dead and it looks like Michonne may be restraining her (you can tell by the gloves). So don’t be surprised if we see a reanimated Deanna come for Rick’s group (or maybe her own people?) in the bloody mid-season premiere.
There are plenty of other tantalizing images to chew over here like the shot of Alexandria burning in the distance, Morgan on horseback, and the satellite dish teasing the prospect of connection with the larger world. Most intriguing of all is the scar underneath Rick’s eye. That’s a new battle wound that might end up matching the more serious one heading Carl’s way.
Just be glad there’s no hand clutching a baseball bat.
SEASON 1: The first time we’re introduced to a cheeky good-natured pizza delivery boy named Glenn (and his adorable baseball cap), he goes out of his way to riskily save Rick, who gets himself stuck in a military tank surrounded by walkers. His rescue proves successful but leads to Glenn and his group being helplessly surrounded by an endless horde of walkers after their gunshots become the closest thing to a dinner bell for these angelic little flesh-eaters. It’s only when Rick creates a makeshift camouflage of walker guts that they make it out alive.
