“How….” I a dit slowly, trying to get my head around what Katherine was telling me. I was her humanity? I was her SOUL? “How…” I a dit pathetically again. She sat down on the sofa and held her empty glass tightly. She looked up at me.
“When Emily removed my humanity, she locked it away. She told me that the only way I could ever get it back was if it was…born again. Then she would chant a spell and my souls would be united.” She stared sadly at the floor. “But Emily has gone. Her spell has gone. There’s no way I can get my humanity back…” Damon’s mouth stopped hanging open and he fumbled out his words.
“So, Elena is…you? She’s what toi were like when toi were human? What toi would have been like if those vampires hadn’t attacked you?” He rubbed his eyes and ran his hands through his hair. “So if toi were to rejoindre back with your humanity…what would happen to Elena?” He asked quietly, his face dropping as he guessed, just like I had already.
“Her body would die but the soul would remain. Like a ghost.” I shuddered.
“W-w-would I lose myself?” I asked, frightened. What if Katherine managed to do it? What if she managed to get her humanity back? Would she still remember everything that I had been through in my life? Would I be alive as her? I didn’t want to die.
“I don’t know,” she answered thoughtfully. “Well I don’t think so, seeing as toi are actually part of me.” Amazingly this commentaire didn’t make me feel any better.
“Oh my god, this is way too much…” I a dit faintly and I fell backwards onto the chair behind me. Damon rushed to my side.
“Are toi ok?” he asked softly, brushing my hair out of my face. His eyes were full of worry.
“I’m ok. Well, I guess I’ve been better. How is Isobel involved in all this though?” I asked Katherine.
“My soul was protected in a Charmed locket. If anyone opened it the soul would enter them. I always thought that the soul would just reside in their body, like the body jouer la comédie as a host, but it seems to me,” she a dit as she circled me, staring at me intensely, “that the soul took on the form of myself as a baby, and the person who opened the locket carried the baby. The locket could only be opened par a human. I kept the locket with me searching for someone to help me get my humanity back, a suitable human who would be happy enough to die, ou so I thought, to make room for my soul. It was until one fateful jour that my locket got stolen. A band of travelling vampire’s allowed Emily and I to rejoindre them, but one night, one of them a volé, étole my locket whilst I was sleeping and the suivant morning they were all gone. And they had taken my humanity with them. Of course none of them could open the locket, but it was devastating thinking that I may never get it back. I searched for them for years alongside Emily, who did everything in her power to try to find them. Eventually we ended up in Mystic Falls, where I met toi two,” she said, pointing at both Stefan and Damon and grinning. Damon’s face softened suddenly.
“Katherine, I’m so sorry. Now I understand everything. toi didn’t l’amour me because toi literally COULDN’T l’amour me, and toi can’t help but be the way toi are. That must be terrible.” He walked over to her and placed his hand on her shoulder, but she brushed it away instantly.
“I don’t need your pity, Damon,” she retorted. The fact that she couldn’t use most human emotions and experience most human feeling crushed me plus than I thought it would. It was like something was aching horribly inside me. I clutched my painful chest and breathed slowly. Damon was back at my side and he held my arm.
“Elena, what’s wrong, are toi ok?” he asked again.
“I just had a weird pain in my chest,” I breathed as I composed myself. He held me in his arms. Katherine cleared her throat.
“Anyway,” she began. “The locket must have travelled from vampire to vampire ou something. I’m not quite sure. But one jour Emily had a vision. She came to me and told me what she had seen. She a dit “…Isobel will save your soul.” She didn’t say anymore on the subject apart from that one little sentence. I never knew what she meant…until now.” She was in front of me in a blink, but stopped abruptly as Damon put his arm out to stop her coming any closer.
“Isobel was your mother, wasn’t she?” Katherine asked. I nodded and she sat down in the chair suivant to me. Stefan, who had been quiet for a very long time, also sat down. We all sat in silence for a while, taking in what each of us had learned in the evening of events. I was dumbfounded. All this information was a lot to take in. And thinking about the fact that I was only Katherine’s humanity made me feel…not completely human. It just made me feel like a kind of “storage box” for her soul.
“I’m okay” Stefan groaned as he pulled out the arrow.
“I’m so sorry, Stefan” Elena a dit upset as she ran his way. Damon was already with his brother, helping him getting up. “I didn’t mean to shoot you”
“Really, I’m fine” Stefan tried to reassure her. Elena still looked rather guilty and so Damon jumped to another subject.
“So…did toi find Rachel?” he asked.
“Yeah, I did” Stefan answered.
“Where is she? I thought toi were going to take her here” Damon a dit confused.
“Yeah” Stefan replied slow. “About that”
Rachel walked up to the door of the building....

“Isn’t it kind of weird and ironic that Alaric who is a vampire hunter is now teaching us to kill a vampire hunting army?” Caroline pointed out.
“Ironic, maybe, but not weird” Elena commented. “Ric can teach us their weaknesses. Besides we’re not going to kill anyone”
“Except Veronica” Damon added dark and bitter. Elena slapped his chest. “We’re not killing anyone” Damon raised his eyebrows. “I’m serious, Damon. I don’t want anyone to get hurt” Elena a dit sharp.
“Not even her? toi know she wouldn’t hesitate to kill you, so why are toi so determined to keep...

Jeremy parked his car at the address Veronica had donné him. She was waiting for him outside.
“What are those signs?” Jeremy asked, pointing at the signs on the wall.
“They’re to keep ghosts out” Veronica explained.
“Ghosts?” Jeremy asked skeptic.
“Yeah, toi know, dead people” Veronica said. “You can’t see the signs during the day, because it’s fluorescent paint”
“So, ghosts can’t enter” Jeremy a dit slowly.
“Well, they can travel with mediums, but you’re not a medium” Veronica replied obviously. She squeezed her eyes and cast Jeremy an exploratory glance....

The suivant morning
Grumpy and irritated Klaus entered Ric’s loft. Even with Tyler dating Veronica, Caroline was still clinging onto her ex-boyfriend. He should’ve never turned Tyler. He should’ve just killed him.
“Nik”
Klaus reluctantly looked up at Rebekah who came off the stairs.
“We need to talk” she a dit with her hands on her hips. She waited for Klaus to say something back, but he just raised his eyebrows. “You have to tell Stefan what happened in the past. We are losing him, Klaus. Katherine is weaving her web around him and we need to get him out before it’s too late”...

Okay, for all of toi Delena and Klaroline shippers, I am going to FIX this NOW!

"You're going to do WHAT?!" Caroline was trying to keep her voice down.
"Haylee found a witch strong enough to do the body jump spell, ya know, the Klaus specialty." Tyler explained, fake snow falling all around them in the town square.
"So you're going to put him into someone else's body and then what?"
"We'll encase the body in concrete, then bury it."
"Why not just desiccate him like Bonnie did?"
"Because to do that spell toi have to stop a human cœur, coeur and I was a little short of volunteers." Tyler a dit the obvious....

Bonnie and Damon were in the living room of the Boarding House. Bonnie was placing white candles in a triangle. As she lit each of them she mumbled Latin words. When she was done, she blew out the match and looked at Damon.
“So, here’s what we’re going to do” Bonnie said. “You have to step into the triangle and sit down”
“And what are toi going to do?” Damon asked, quite insecure.
“I’m going to stay outside the triangle” Bonnie answered. “I will put toi under some sort of hypnosis. I will be with toi in your subconscious”
“Very reassuring” Damon a dit sarcastic.
“Now...

Damon poured himself a glass of bourbon and drank it out. He spit it out.
“Yeah, I put vervain in all your drinks” a familiar voice said. Damon turned around and saw Katherine standing in the doorway of the living room. “I told toi toi had to drink vervain again. I thought Elena would’ve convinced toi par now”
Damon looked away.
“That’s right. Trouble in paradise” Katherine said. “If I were toi I’d try really hard to make things okay. We don’t want her to run back to Stefan, do we?”
Damon looked up angry. “She wouldn’t do that. Elena isn’t like that. I just…need to...

Bonnie was sitting with Keith in the cafeteria, having lunch, when a nurse came her way. “You have a visitor”
“I’m eating” Bonnie replied.
“He a dit it was urgent” the nurse said.
“Fine then” Bonnie a dit and she stood up and followed the nurse. When she got back at her room she had to pinch herself to make sure she was not hallucinating.
“What are toi doing here?” Bonnie asked very surprised.
“You thought I wouldn’t figure it out?” Damon asked arrogant.
“You didn’t” Bonnie shook her head. “Katherine did”
Damon made a step forward. “How do toi know that?...

Elena was leaning against the door trying to hear what was being a dit when Damon pushed the door open. Elena rubbed her temple and looked angry at Damon.
He frowned, then got the picture. “Sorry” he mumbled.
“Where’s Kat?” Elena informed.
“Gone” Damon a dit short. “She won’t bother to come here…ever”
Elena gave him a weird look, but decided not to ask any further. Not about Kat, anyway. “Was that Caroline? I thought I heard her voice”
“Yeah, but she’s gone too” Damon said.
“Why?” Elena asked.
“I sent her away” Damon said, avoiding Elena’s look.
Elena shook...

Rachel was cleaning her house. It was the only way for her not to think about what she had done. She was vacuuming when someone rang the doorbell. She unplugged the vacuum-cleaner and walked to the front door. When she opened she came face to face with the person she least expected.
“Hi, Rachel.” Veronica said. “I’m back”
“I wasn’t expecting you” Rachel a dit sheepish. Ronnie conjured a huge smile. “Can I come in?”
Rachel couldn’t come up with an excuse to send her away and thus she stepped away, letting her pass.
Veronica walked to the cuisine and noticed the vacuum-cleaner....

The suivant morning.
It was still very early and the sun hadn’t gone up completely yet. Nevertheless, there seemed to be quite some activity down in the woods. The night before sheriff Liz Forbes had received an anonymous phone call, giving her the exact location of where to find the body of Gabe Lindy. Liz had heard the voice before. It had been the same person who told her where the bodies of the Lindy sisters were. So it was pretty obvious that whoever the caller was, they were the murderer ou at least they knew who did it.
“What do toi got here?”
Liz would never get used to her daughter...

Matt parked the car on the parking lot of the clinic and looked at Caroline. “What are we doing here?”
“Visiting a friend who can help Elena” Caroline a dit avoiding.
“What friend are toi talking about?” Matt asked careful, though he had a suspicion. And since Caroline consciously looked away, he knew his suspicion was true. “Wow. She’s been here all this time? No wonder we haven’t seen her anywhere”
Caroline turned to Matt. “You can’t tell anyone” she a dit sharp. “If Elena finds out, she won’t be happy”
Matt raised his hands. “She won’t hear it from me”

Jeremy ran through the hallway of the hospital. Stefan had donné him a call to fill him in and he had also mentioned in which room Elena was ‘staying’. Ignoring the reproaching of several doctors and nurses and other medical staff he opened the door and stopped to breathe.
“Jeremy, why aren’t toi at school?” Elena asked a little harsh.
“I was there” Jeremy said. “But then Stefan called me, saying toi were sick”
Elena looked away. “He shouldn’t have a dit that” she a dit grumpy. Jeremy walked to the lit and sank down. “How are toi feeling?”
“I’m fine” Elena said...

Rachel looked around her at the police station when someone called her.
“Can I help you, ma’am?”
Rachel looked up and saw Sherrif Forbes standing a few yards away from her. “Eh, yeah, I want to rapporter a disappearance”
“Maybe we should talk about this in my office?” Liz offered and she guided Rachel to her office. “Have a seat” she a dit when she placed herself behind the bureau. Rachel sat down.
“Someone went missing?” Liz asked, staring sharply at Rachel.
Rachel, feeling uneasy, moved on her seat. “My husband, Gabe. He hasn’t been accueil in a few days. We had a fight...

Elena, Jeremy and Ric were sitting at the cuisine table, tableau having dinner. Well, Jeremy was eating. Elena was stirring in her nourriture and Alaric was looking at her.
“If toi wanted mashed potatoes toi could’ve asked” he said. Elena looked up distracted. “What? No, it’s good. It’s really nice” she said.
“How would toi know?” Alaric asked. “You didn’t eat yet”
“It looks really nice” Elena a dit shrugging.
“If you’re not hungry, that’s fine” Alaric said. “You don’t have to eat. But if there’s something else, I want toi to tell me”
Elena looked down at her plate,...

Rebekah was sitting on the canapé in Stefan’s loft, while Stefan himself was trying to reach Katherine.
“Come sit with me, Stefan” Rebekah demanded. Stefan lifted his hand to shut her up. Rebekah frowned, insulted. She whistled and when Stefan turned around annoyed she poured her glass of blood on the couch. Stefan turned around again and stopped his attempts to get a hold of Katherine.
“Why am I even trying?” he mumbled.
“She’s not worth it” Rebekah scoffed.
Stefan turned to the cuisine and searched through the cupboards. He then came back with a bucket with water, a sponge and...

Caroline took her livres she needed for the suivant few classes and closed her locker. Elena leaned against the lockers and looked at her. She saw the red underneath Caroline’s eyes. “Hey, have toi been crying?”
Caroline shook her head. “No” she a dit with a small voice. She swallowed and forced a smile. She sighed and looked at her friend. “No” she repeated a little steadier. “I saw Tyler at the Grill today”
“Oh” Elena blinked. “And how was he? Did he tell toi what happened?”
Caroline shook her head again. “Not exactly. He…said it’s none of my business what he does...

“What are toi doing?” Derek asked curious at Damon who was sitting between the wooden planks in his bedroom.
“I’m trying to fix the bed” Damon a dit obvious.
“Can I help?” Derek asked excited. Without awaiting an answer he kneeled and picked up a nail and hammer. While he hammered he tried to make a subtle conversation. “So, toi and your girlfriend, how long have toi been together?”
“Two months and a half” Damon said. “Why?”
Derek shrugged. “Nothing. Just curious” he said. “And have you…you know?”
Damon looked at Derek, frowning. “No, and I wouldn’t tell...

Ronnie opened the door to let in whoever was knocking. “Seriously, flowers? Can toi say cheesy?”
Tyler put the fleurs in Ronnie’s hands. “This is me saying I’m sorry”
“And it took toi seven days to get those words over your lips?” Ronnie asked sarcastic.
“No, I just hoped you’d be plus forgiving par now” Tyler answered. “Can I come in?” Ronnie looked around as if she wanted to check if he’d come alone. “How did toi find me?”
“Eh, Caroline’s mom is the sheriff of Mystic Falls. It was pretty easy” Tyler confessed.
“Oh, I see” Ronnie sighed. “Well, I suppose...

“Caroline?” he a dit when answering.
“Damon, can I speak to Elena?” Caroline asked. “She won’t answer my calls”
“She’s a little distracted” Damon said. “Maybe I can help” he offered.
“You could, but I don’t think toi will” Caroline sighed.
“Try me” Damon a dit a little tired.
“Would toi come to the station and call Bonnie so we can find out where she is? I tried, but she won’t answer my phone calls. Maybe she will answer you” Caroline a dit not very hopeful.
“I won’t have to see her, right? Just call...
