Stefan and Elena were sitting at the bar in Mystic Grill, Stefan with a beer, Elena with a coke. Elena put the straw in her mouth and blew, creating bubbles in her glass, causing the coca to spill on the bar.
“Elena!” Stefan groaned and frowned his eyebrows. He waved at the bartender. “Can we get something to clean this up?” The bartender took a cloth and cleaned the coca up himself. “Thanks” Stefan said. “I’m really sorry” He rotated to Elena. “Please try to behave yourself” Elena pulled a face. “I’m bored. I thought we’re going to have fun, but we’re just sitting here. I might as well go back accueil and watch a Buffy marathon”
“Look, I called Bonnie. She will be here any minute and then toi can throw a party” Stefan sighed.
“Bonnie doesn’t know how to throw a party” Elena muttered and drank from her coke. “Caroline’s the party girl and she’s not around. I bet even Katherine’s better than Bonnie, but I can’t invite Katherine. That would be disrespectful towards Bonnie. I would call your brother, but since I’m not allowed to see, hear ou speak him today that’s not an option either. Guess I’ll won’t make it to my suivant birthday, because par then I’ll be death of boredom”
“Well, we can’t let that happen, can we?” Bonnie a dit behind Elena. Elena turned around on her tabouret and jumped off. “Bonnie! You’re here!” she a dit and she threw her arms around her friend.
“How could I not be here?” Bonnie a dit and she handed out a package. “This is for you”
“Oooh, presents!” Elena clapped and unwrapped it. “Snow Patrol, I l’amour that band! Thank toi so much, Bonnie!” She looked at the bartender, montrer the CD. “Can toi play this?” she asked. “Please?” Bonnie added. The bartender took the CD and put it in the musique player. A few secondes later Snow Patrol sang through the boxes. Bonnie took Elena’s hand. “Come on, let’s dance” and she pulled Elena to the center of the lounge.
As soon as Elena left her tabouret was taken par someone else.
