While Damon was with Rose in Richmond and Elena with Katherine in the tomb, Stefan was at the Grill with Caroline, who was asked by Elena to keep him busy so he didn't know what she was up to.
And yes, he went to school but you seem to forget the scene where Elena is at the boarding house with Stefan, Damon and Rose where Stefan asks Elena where is she going and she says "school, I'm late" then Stefan says "let me grab my stuff, I'll go with you" and she answers "that's okay, I know where it is"... So as far as Stefan knows he was going to meet Elena at school, that's why he went. Once he's there he finds out that she didn't go to school because she "went home sick" and wanted to check on her.

You better check and re-check things when you want to hate on someone...

then mint he didn't see her at school he should have deashed school and went looking for her,insted of talking to carloine he should have fuigred it erlair that carloine was just destracting him because she alrdey did it once when kathrine was forcing her to,but all he did is talk to carloine and how she reminded him of lexie and the acting like the "hero" when he found what elena was doing,but he came at the end of everything so....

Your point here is that Stefan "just went to school" and you're admitting that he didn't... lame!
As soon as he found out Elena wasn't at school he was heading to the Gilberts' to check on her. And that's when Caroline told him that she told Tyler that she was a vampire, which was kind of a big deal back then, at that point of the season. When Stefan went with Caroline and stayed with her at the Grill he thought Elena was at home and talking to Caroline about the Tyler/werewolf situation. On the last part of their talk he figured it out and went right to Elena.

You want Stefan to be THE master mind of the universe, it seems. Always saying "he should've thought this, should've done that, should've thought that someone was thinking this"... I'd like to know how fast YOU think, how smart you are. And you're talking already knowing what happened. You're seeing it through the TV/computer or whater it is you watch TVD on, while Stefan is on Mystic Falls time...

And you're not saying facts, my dear, you adjust things to your point of view, adjust things to make Stefan look bad, and that IS a fact.

completely agree with "iandamonfan".it would be nice if you would stop that Stefan bashing stuff...please?can't we just enjoy TVD without something like this?everyone has a character he doesn't like that much but these things are unrespectful against the others.:( i am a Damon fan but this is so not good...
