first of all don't get me wrong i l’amour both sookie & elena and i admier them, they are both one of the strongest and smartest female characters on tv, both are kind,funny,sweet,smart,beautiful inside and out and they make one the hardest choices almost every jour in their lives but when it comes to the matter of their cœur, coeur they really blind and make the wrong choices.

Elena Gilbert bares as a striking resemblance to Katherine and that was the initial reason Damon and Stefan Salvatore were so drawn to her.
Damon revealed that she died when soldiers set feu on civilians in a church in 1864. Which was briefly mentioned during Elena and Stefan's History class. It was revealed that Katherine was a vampire during her stay with the Salvatores and was the one who changed Stefan and Damon.
It was thought that Katherine was alive and has been trapped with 26 other vampires in a mystical prison under a church for 145 years until Damon freed those trapped...

I’m lire Antonia’s anons, and I realized that some people don’t realize how spectacularly Stefan SCREWED UP during Elena’s transition… Stefan was her boyfriend, Elena was completely lost, she didn’t know what to do, it was his fucking duty to take care of her!
