A twenty-three an old woman entered the Grill. She was wearing a sleeveless mid-dark blue chemisier of which she left the three upper and lower buttons open so her belly button was seen, a black leather mini jupe and high heels. Her dark red hair was tied up loosely and she wore heavy makeup. She headed to the bar, very well aware of all the eyes on her back.
“I hear you’re looking for a new bartender” she a dit to the man behind the bar. He nodded. “You’re signing up?”
“I need a job” the woman said. “And I like to socialize. I like to talk. I’m a good listener”
“Do toi have any experience in the hotel and catering industry?”
The woman placed her hands on the bar, pushed herself up and threw her legs over the bar, ending suivant to the bartender. She took six small glasses and quickly put them on the bar, orderly suivant to each other. She took a bottle of tequila, opened it and poured all six glasses in a row.
“Okay, can toi start tonight?” the man asked.
“Absolutely”
“Good. Go home, change your clothes and get rid of whatever it is you’ve put on your face. I’m looking for a bartender, not a hooker” the man said. “What’s your name?”
“Veronica Chambers” the woman said. “But toi can call me Ronnie”
