PART 21: STELLA'S POV
"No way! toi guys actually kissed!?" Claire nearly shouted as we walked down to the bus stop.
"Yep." I answered simply. I smiled when I could see David waving from a distance. "Ohmygosh! What does this mean? Are toi guys like a couple?!"
She skipped beside me, excited, unable to walk like a normal human being.Well...HALF human being. "Claire, calm down! I..i don't really know yet. It all just happened so fast." We hushed up once we reached the stop. "Hi." I a dit shyly. He kissed me on haut, retour au début of the head and whispered "Good morning." Claire could barely contain herself. "Hey, Claire. I think Macy wants to talk to toi later." She stopped hopping around and looked confused. "About what?" He smiled and shook his head. "You'll see."
"Is it a good thing?" She asked, cautiously.
"Well, I think so." I looked up at him with questioning eyes. "Tell toi later" he said, catching a loose strand of my hair that was fluttering in the wind and tucking it behind my ear. I blushed and looked away. He released me when the bus pulled up and we all got on. As usual, I sat with Claire and listened to her babble, while David sat with a few of his bandmates in the back. Alright, We kissed and we were maybe sorta kinda a couple now, but we weren't about to change our seating arrangement. "Ooh! I just thought of something! Picture Piper's face when she sees toi with David! Ahh! She'll die!" I thought about that for a minute. So, I was pretty sure that Piper only wanted Will because he was..or used to be, mine. Now that David was mine, would she try to take him, too? I wanted to think that she wouldn't, but I knew better. Of course she would! David was practically the whole reason Piper came back from wherever the hell she was before! "Stella! Are toi listening to me?" Claire scolded, turning off my mind chatter. "What? Um, yeah!" She rolled her eyes. "Sure toi were." The bus pulled to a stop at Bayside High and kids piled off. I walked to first period, holding David's hand. I wanted Piper to see us! I wanted Will to see us! I knew David didn't want piper so there was no way she could take him from me...and i really just wanted Will to hurt! I passed several kids who stared at us in the hall. Tasmin gave me a thumbs up and a little wink as if to say "Way to déplacer on!" Good. If Tasmin Porter knew, so would the rest of the school in a matter of minutes. Including Piper and Will. The jour went on and David continued to walk me to all my classes. We sat at our usual lunch table, where everyone there (even the boys plage vollyball team) shunned Will. The only person who even still talked to him at our table, was Ethan. He thought it was terrible what Will did, but he was still his best friend. Claire scolded him for it daily. David squeezed my hand tight, making me look up. Standing in front of me was Piper Goodfair, gawking at us. She was so pretty, it hurt. I took a deep breath to get my courage. "What do toi want?" I asked with the coldest tone I could manage. She snickered. "What do I want? Nothing, but an explanation. Is it true, are toi two dating?" She tapped her fake nails on the table, leaning vers l'avant, vers l’avant so we were eye to eye. Before I could answer, David did. "Yeah, but what the hell is it to you, Piper?" She froze, an evil grin stretching across her face. I wanted to claque, smack her. "I do believe I was talking to Stella." His face went expressionless. "Look, Piper. If your trying to ruin my life, it's not going to work. So toi can take your bony cul, ass back over there-" I pointed to her table. "And stay there." She smiled again and stood up, bushing off her revealing red dress. "Fine, I know when i'm not wanted." She turned to walk away. "Obviously not." Claire hissed under her breath. Piper stopped abruptly and turned back around. "Oh, and Stella.." She a dit loud enough for the whole cafeteria to here. "No hard feelings about Will, right?"
