Darry and Dally looked at (Y/N) from the couch. She was talking with Soda on the front porch, smiling, laughing at what he said. They both thought toi had a beautiful laugh, and that toi were completely adorable.
Darry was jealous of Soda, he thought he could take better care of you, provide a better life.
Dally thought he could protect toi more, and l’amour toi better.
Their hearts both broke as Soda leaned down to Kiss you.

toi groan and turn over. toi had the flu. toi were really sore,tired, and cold. toi thought nothing could make toi feel better.
“Hey, (Y/N), toi hungry?” Your boyfriend Soda asks from the doorway.
toi shake your head. “I’m just cold.” toi sniffle.
“Well that can be fixed.” He says smiling.
He gets onto the bed, and snuggles close to you, and puts all the blankets on haut, retour au début of you.
“Soda, you’re gonna get sick and…”
“I don’t care… All I care about is you, and that you’re gonna feel better.”
The cars zoomed by.
“This makes me so nervous.” toi say.
“Why?” Soda asks, smiling.
“What if the cars blow up, and we die? ou what if they crash? Or-“
“Hey it’s going to be fine,” He interrupts you. “Have some popcorn.”
“But what if I’m eating pop corn, maïs soufflé and the cars blow up and we die?”
“Then I’ll blow up and die eating pop corn, maïs soufflé with the girl I love.”
And he kisses toi on the lips.
“Darry, how do toi feel about kids?” toi ask.
“About having kids?” He asked. toi were nervous.
“Yeah.”
“I’ve never told anyone this really… But it’s been my goal in life to be a better father figure than I ever was to Soda ou Ponyboy… I thought I did a good job, but I know I could’ve done better.” He scratches his neck. “So yeah I’d want to have kids.”
“Well that’s good.” toi smile.
“Why?” He asks. “You aren’t…” He starts, but then looks at you. “You are aren’t you?” His smile lights up the whole room.
toi nod your head. He picks toi up in a big ours hug.
“Daddy, do I look ok?” Grace asks. I put down my newspaper to look at my 15 an old daughter. Wow.
“You look beautiful, sweetheart.” It pained me to see her going on her first date. But I was smiling.
“I’ll be good, Daddy, I promise.”
I grin. Exactly what her mother a dit to her dad on our first date.
“I know.” I manage to say. “You’re a good kid.”
“Not like Faith,” Grace grins. Oh my Faith. Nine years old and already had a “boyfriend”. She was completely hilarious.
“Not like Faith.” I smile.
I get up off the canapé to give her a hug.
“I l’amour toi Daddy.”
“Love toi too, sweetheart.”
“You’re still going to be the first boy I fell in l’amour with.”

Darry’s P.O.V
“Daddy?” Danny asks from the back seat. He was six now, and Olivia was one.
“What happened to your mommy and daddy?” He asks.
I don’t answer for a minute, just keep driving. What do I say?
“My mommy and daddy are hanging out in heaven.” Is all I can think of to say.
“They’re partying with Jesus?” Danny asks. “That’s cool!”
“Yeah, bud,” I smile. “Partying with Jesus.”
“Yes I do.” She says in that you’ve-told-me-a-million-times voice.
“Ok… Well are toi sure toi want to do this?” I ask nervously.
“I’m positive.” She says as she gives me a quick Kiss on the lips.
“I swear, if toi hurt yourself…” I shake my head.
The motorcycle starts, and goes forward. Instead of going with the motorcycle., she flips off backwards from it.
I immediately rush to (Y/N).
“Oh my god, (Y/N), are toi ok? Are toi hurt? Where are toi hurt?” I say, head spinning. If she’s hurt badly I’ll just…
“Dally I’m fine.. The motorcycle-“
“Steve can fix the motorcycle. Are toi ok? Where are toi hurt? Do we need to go to the hospital?”
“Dally I’m fine!” She laughs.
“You worry me,” I say, as I scoop her into a hug.
