I know Twilight is so old now. I mean I still like Twilight but Hunger Games is so much better. i am obbsessed with it.

It's just a natural thing. Choosing your team doesn't really have anything to do with Twilight. It's just if toi like Gale more, toi support Gale. And if toi like Peeta more, toi support Peeta. So toi just say "Team _____" to let everyone know who you're rooting for. :) Saying Team ____ didn't originate with Twilight.
