"Hi Jamie," I say with a bit to much enthusiasum, I blush. "my name is Burning Of The Wind, um, ou well Windy for short." I blushed deaper, I had never been so nervous. Jamie is handsom. I try to ignore his looks and stare at the soup. Wanda nugges me forward.
"Go ahead, toi are welcome to anything," She tells me. I nod and walk towards a woman who is surving the soup. Ian nods at her and she fills a bowl of soupe for me, looking worried. Two little boys walk over to Wanda and grab her hands, moving Ian aside. Ian looks at bit jealous but turns to me as Wanda talks to the boys.
"Dont be worried Windy, no ones gonna hurt toi here. If they try I will help you," He tells me, I nod and try to fight my question back par bitting my toung. It works.
ugh Windy, get ahold of yourself! I tell myself. I sit down at one of the empty tables and Wanda, Ian and Jamie sit suivant to me.
"Wheres Melanie and Jared?" I ask curiously. Wanda laughs.
"Birds and the bees," Jamie says. I blush and wish I hadnt a dit anything. I hide my face and start sipping the red soup. It tastes like tomatos with garlic and bazil. Yum.
Before I know it my bowl is empty and I walk back for more. The woman surves me plus with a worried look on her face. I hurry back to the table.
"Did I do something wrong?" I ask. They all shake their heads.
"Lucinda is just worried, she doesnt really like souls that much," Jamie assures me. I sigh. I am already unwanted.
After a few plus bowls of soupe I find myself full but my stomach still flat. I am glad too. I look down at my hands, chapped and bloody. I hide them under my legs, forgeting my jeans would be stained. Jamie yawns and rests his head on Wanda's shoulder. I get tired myself and rub my eyes.
"Well theres something I forgot to arrange," Wanda says, "I dont know where toi can sleep Windy!" I shrug.
"Anywhere is fine with me," I reply. Wanda and Jamie sigh.
"Okay then, come with me," Jamie says, grabbing my hand and pulling my farther away from the dinning hall. He pulls me into a cave. I sit.
"Well, at least I have something other than cactus to rest my head on," I joke. For the past week I had laid my head on cactuses, getting past the thorns. Jamie laughs.
"We will get toi a mat and oreiller Windy. Dont worry." I nod. He walks out of the cave and I lay down on a bag of...rice? I'm not sure exactly. I drift away into a nap and before I know it I am dreaming.
