Since Rick Riordan gave us a glimpse of the new story, speculations and theories have been flying from all directions. I'm here to sort and sift through some good theories about Piper. In case, toi haven't read the sample chapterslink and enter "newhero" in the mot de passe field.
Piper seems to be the lead female character, and an interesting one at that. She is half Native American (Cherokee) and half Olympian! She smells of cinnamon and according to the "popular clique" of The Wilderness School she's a Klepto. I know what you're thinking, daughter of Hermes, right? Not...

I looked at Athena, confused. I'm not a spider! That's when she pointed to her statue and screamed.

I cringed, then looked at the statue. How bad could it be? The worst thing that could happen is it could be a- "SPIDER!!" I screamed.

So hi, well I've been thinkin' about my chapter story The Somewhat Less Important Chronicles of Elle Trick, and how there's just soo much stuff that toi guys should know to really get her. So here it is,

December 21, 1993- Elle and her twin Missy are born, although both have different mothers. Missy and Elle are twins entirely on accident. They never meet until they are seventeen.

While she was thinking, she didnt even notice Jason inching vers l'avant, vers l’avant until his lips were on hers. Her cœur, coeur was thumping so loudly she could barely contain it. Extreme Analasis of the Mark of Athena (spoiler possibility)

Some critical points in the development of Rick Riordan's manipulative écriture style are easily apparent in the Mark of Athena. The majority of the plot consistently backs up my past theories, (see my article Rick Riordan) and manages to suggest that Rick holds even plus control over his readers minds than I had ever imagined.

Strategies Used To Keep Readers On Their Toes:

1. Increase in tension between characters

2. Added complications to plot

My Thoughts on "Mark of Athena"

Percy's last meeting with Juno went like this:
Juno warns Percy that Annebeth might be a setback in saving Rome.

Hm, a bit suspicious. No way that's mere coincidence.

And Ella's prophecy did say something about the Mark of Athena.

On haut, retour au début of all of this, the cover of the book "Mark of Athena" is quite scary aswell.
It depicts Jason with his Imperial or gladius riding Tempest (the horse he had tamed in the run-down mansion) on a nuage of thunder and lightning charging Percy who is holding Riptide riding on Blackjack on waves of water with an owl (the literal emblem of Athena) in the background.
