After lunch, the family spent the remainder of the afternoon par playing a friendly football game. They also went on another hike, and Laura collected some pinecones which were scattered along the trail. par the time evening commenced, they lit up another campfire and toasted marshmallows over its flickering amber waves. George's mother said, "There's nothing like the taste of golden brown mallows." Peter said, "I agree with that, mum. It brings back memories, too." Laura asked, "Is your new song ready now, daddy George?" He replied, "You bet it is, Laura, darling! Let me sing it for you." He then got his ukulele and told her, "This is a very special song, and I want toi to listen to the lyrics carefully." She replied, "Okie dokie!" With that, George began strumming and his new song went like this: "You don't realize how much I need you. l’amour toi all the time and never leave you. You're such a joy to me. I'm happy as can be. I need you. Since the jour we met I loved toi dearly. I saw that toi were so sad and lonely. I soon realized as I looked in your eyes. toi told me, oh yes, toi told me, about all those things toi went through. That's when it hurt me but it's all over now and we belong to each other. Please remember how I feel about you. I could never really live without you. So, come to my arms and see just what toi mean to me. I need you. But when toi told me, about all those things toi went through. That's when it hurt me but it's all over now and we belong to each other. Please remember how I feel about you. As he finished singing, happy tears were streaming down Laura's eyes. She said, "T-that was so beautiful, daddy George! I'm deeply touched." He hugged her tightly and replied, "I'm glad toi l’amour it, me darling! I wrote this song in honor of my close bond with toi as an adoptive father." Laura said, "Aw! I l’amour you!" George said, "I l’amour toi more, sweet Laura!" Harry said, "That was a lovely song, little brother! You've certainly gotten better in your songwriting skills." Peter clapped and exclaimed, "Bravo!" Lou added, "Indeed! The fans are going to enjoy it." His parents nodded in agreement. George replied, "Thank toi veddy much! I'm looking vers l'avant, vers l’avant to sharing it with me mates." He then sang his new song one plus time before telling the others an imaginative, yet humorous camp story.

The Beatles took their girlfriends out for a fancy dîner in a nice restaurant with dark, secluded tables where no one could see them to bother them. All four Beatles felt a little uncomfortable in the back of their minds, knowing this was the first time they had even not shown up when their fans were expecting to see them. But sitting here in the candlelight with their best girls, these thoughts seemed somehow unimportant, and were pushed aside.
“Let’s go back and get the car,” Paul said, as they stepped out into the chilly night air a few hours later. “I can drive us up to your house.”...

For the rest of their week in town, the Beatles spent every free minute with their new girlfriends. They took long walks in the chilly late-fall air, the Beatles holding their girlfriends’ hands after receiving cool nods of permission. This activity, though, meant that the fans could see them, and many of them made it clear that they were not happy about the Beatles’ choice of girlfriend at all.
“Stupid girls,” muttered Emily again, as she and John passed a small crowd of teenagers who glared at Emily and cast pleading looks at John.
“These ignorant teenagers should be locked away for...

Paul hoped the subject of names wouldn't come up again; the whole thing was making him very uncomfortable. He didn't like having to pretend like this, but he didn't see what else he could do. He steered the conversation to anything else that popped into his head as he, Ringo, and Winston took their adjoining seats on the plane. Winston grinned at these increasingly aléatoire topics with a teasing expression, and Paul, hastily casting his mind around for a topic that would be completely natural to bring up, said, "Do toi like rock-and-roll music, Ringo?"
Ringo perked up. "I l’amour it! That's what...
