I know its not out yet until January 28th 2011 but I have a funny feeling that this might be a great flick and here is why:

#1 Alan Menken doing the musique for Tangled

#2 Looks to be a good plot only it’s a tiny bit like Shrek in a way.

#3 Rapunzel could be my new princess(I dunno)

#4 That Flynn Rider guy looks cute.

#5 First CGI fairytale from Disney.

#6 l’amour fairytales

* Kirsten Chesworth was suppose to voice Rapunzel but Mandy Moore got the part shortly after

* musique is par Alan Menken

* First CGI fairytale from Walt Disney Pictures ever.

pietruszka I was super-exited about this movie, but then I saw the trailer in my country - and it's like whole movie ruined. The voices and songs in polish versions are horrible. I wrote emails for cinemas if the will be an option for subtitled version - and NO! So now I have to wait another half of the year for DVD... I'm really upset :(

Mandy Moore (she's great in everything she does) John Lasseter - executive producer (hasn't let me down yet) Alan Menken (Newsies! among others) Ergo, the acting will be great, the story will be original, and the music will be stuck in my head for days.

Takuya Sounds like thiswill be a great movie ^^ But why do you think that it will be like Shrek? You are not the first one who says that but i just dont get it.

LisaForde Well I saw the trailer for it and it looked like a rip off of Shrek. God does Disney love Shrek or what. They took the piss out of it with Enchanted(minus the ogre and the transformation with the princess)but seriously its getting bloody annoying how Disney is comparing itself to DreamWorks.

ALetterToElise ^More like the opposite. Dreamworks is comparing itself to Disney. Enchanted was 100 xs better than Shrek, and to be honest I hope Tangled is not like shrek at all. I was hoping more like TLM or Aladdin: Fairtale Romance, with NO twists like The Princess and the Frog or Enchanted(love both of these movies, just in the mood for a fairy tale.

gbug4ever Uhm, what is TLM? Also, I don't understand the similarities between Shrek and Enchanted.

princess_joy I'm most likely late in commenting, the DVD having already come out and all, but, unlike others, I didn't see Tangled in theaters, instead, I bought the movie, having heard that it was good.
