Okay, so starting a review with a joke might not be the best idea. But never the less, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet rue is considered the first “Musical thriller.” It is one of composer Stephen Sondheim’s most well-known pieces of musique and has won a ton of awards and there are productions and tours everywhere…you get the drill.
