Matt? I ask. 
Samantha, wow toi look beautiful. He said. 
Thanks. I said. 
I ran down the stairs and gave him a hug. 
What are toi doing here? I asked. 
I came for your birthday. He said 
Wow, thanks. I said. 
Come on Sam, toi have to see the backyard! Alice said. 
Okay. I a dit while laughing. 
Alice always gave me the giggles when she was happy. 
Alice covered my eyes and walked me out to the backyard. 
She stood me in one place and then took her hands away from my eyes.  When I open my eyes I heard a crowd of people yell surprise!  I didn't have any words to say after everyone screamed surprise. Everyone that I had known of somewhat knew was here. Of course all of the Cullens were here along with the whole loup pack and of course Matt was here. It was so beautiful outside the trees had little lights in them and the tables were under a big tent that didn't have any snow under. There was a feu that, I'm guessing Emmett built because he was throwing wood in there as I was looking at everyone.  I felt someone put a veste around me. 
Thank you. I said. 
Your welcome. Matt said. 
I pulled my arms iinto my veste and zipped it up. My hair was down so I could put on my hat if I wanted to. I went around and told everyone thanks for coming and then I went and sat par Matt who, was sitting in front of the fire. 
Hey. I said. 
salut Samantha. How are things.? Matt asked. 
Pretty good. Oh I've missed toi so much. I a dit giving him a hug. 
I've missed toi too. He said. 
How are things back home? I asked. 
Pretty good, I see your brother almost everyday surfing. He said. 
Oh, cool. I said. 
He put his arm around me and I layed my head on his shoulder. I saw a camera flash and for sure Alice was taking pictures. 
I just smiled and than turned around to see Matt looking at me. 
Your beautiful. He told me. 
I blushed and a dit thanks. 
I started thinking about the age difference it was big just par a an and a half so Matt was eightteen and I was finally seventeen. 
Let's go get some cake. Matt a dit breaking my thoughts up. 
Okay. I said. 
We went and got some cake and then we went and sat back down par the fire. 
I want to montrer toi something. I a dit after we finished our cake
Okay. He said.
Follow me. I a dit taking his hand.
We walked a little bit into the woods and then I told Matt to stand in a spot and then I walked off further to shift.
I came back shifted in my loup form and walked closer to Matt.  
Samantha, where are you? Matt a dit frightened
I gave a soft bark, hoping that he would know that the loup was me.
Samantha, come on quit joking around, the woods are dangerous. He said.
I gave a softer bark this time almost wimpiering.Luckily Edward came into the woods.
Edward, please tell him that this is mean. I thought.
Matt, this is what Sam wanted to montrer you. Edward said.
What a cute baby wolf? He said.
Matt, that is Samantha. Edward answered.
No, its not. He said.
Matt, she's a shape shifter. She is a wolf. Edward said.
I wimered again to let them know I was still here.
Matt glanced over at me again ad took off running towards the house. I slowly ran behind him but I didn't get to far until I felt I cold pair of arms around me. They wouldn't let me run out of the woods. I shifted back to my human self and put on a Rebelle face for all of the guest that had come to celebrate my birhtday. I was smiling on the outside and about to break down on the inside.
Samantha, what's wrong? Jasper asked as he came up to me. 
I cant talk about it right now. I'll start crying. I wispered. 
Oh, okay. Come and get me when your ready to talk. He said. 
I will. I told him. 
Alice and Rosalie had a dance floor and I was yet to dance. Rose was dancing with Emmett and they looked so cute together. I went par the feu and sat down. There was stick near the feu so I started playing in the fire, I just played with all the ashes.  
Samantha, toi want to dance? Jacob asked. 
Sure. I said. 
He led me to the dance floor and Lucky par Jason Mraz came on and started playing. Alice and Rose had dine a fantastict job getting a playlist of all of my music. 
What's wrong? Jacob asked as we danced. 
I tried telling Matt what I was. I said. 
He didn't react well did he. Jacob said. 
No, he ran into the house. I said. 
toi should go talk to him. He said. 
I don't know what to say. I told Jacob. 
Just tell him the story and the way toi feel. He said
But wonder if he doesn't like me that way? I said.
Then be there for him as a friend, a sister and soon he will feel the same way about you. Jacob said. 
Okay. Thanks. I said.
He let go of my hand and I ran towards the house. I found Matt sitting par the piano. 
Matt. I said. 
Samantha, don't come near me.  He a dit getting up and taking a few steps backward. 
I won't hurt you. I promise. I said. 
Yes toi will. He said. 
I haven't ever hurt anyone. I said. 
Yeah, toi did. He said. 
No I haven't. I a dit almost in tears. 
toi hurt Oakley. He said. 
We were in the car coming from surfing, we hydroplaned. I didn't have anythig to do with that. I said. 
Your dangerous, my mind is saying to stay away from you. He said. 
But I won't hurt toi ou anyone, I haven't ever hurt anyone and I promise. I said. 
Matt ended up walking away after I had sat down on the floor and started crying. He was the only guy that I had ever had really true deep feelings for and that isn't because of my loup gene. I had always like him as a brother but I knew that I always had plus feelig there than I ou anyone knew about. I felt a pair of cold arms around me and pick me up. I continued to cry even once I was in my bedroom. How could I have such deep feelings for someone who didn't even care about me. Emmett was the one who had picked me up and carried ke upstairs to my room but somehow I managed to get out of his arms and run downstairs and shifting before he could catch me. I could hear Emmett telling me to stop, telling me that running isn't going to solve the problem. I knew that and so dis my shoulder. I was in elbow deep snow and was having a hard time to run. Even though I was a loup I didn't have the hot gene in me so I got cold very soon. I nocticed that Emmett had stopped running after me. I finally had to stop because my shoulder was broken now, I had felt it snap, pop ou whatever. I layed down par a arbre and cried all night. 

When I woke up the suivant morning I was lying in my own lit with blankets on haut, retour au début of me. I was still in my loup form too. O tried to get up but I felt a pair of hot hands push me gently back down. I looked over and it was Jacob.
Take it easy, Samantha. He a dit to me. 
I looked around and saw Emmett and Rose sitting in the corner of the room and Edward was par my side. 
I'm sorry. I just freaked out and didn't know how to respond. I thought. 
It's okay. Edward said. 
What did she think? Emmett asked. 
She a dit she is sorry for freaking out. Edward explained. 
Oh, it's okay Samantha. Rose said. 
Where's Matt? I thought. 
He is downstairs. He doesn't know that your hurt. Emmett said. 
I knodded my head so Emmett would know that I understood what he was saying. I was so cold, that the haleating pads that Carlisle had put under the blankets weren't working that great. 
Jacob can toi give her some of toi body heat? Edward asked. 
Jacob came over to me and lifted the covers and got underneath them. 
Thanks. I thought. 
Thanks. Edward said. 
No problem. Jacob a dit looking at me. 
I fell back asleep and sleept for a long time. 
Your awake, that's great. Carlisle said. 
Your going to be fine, toi have a fever and toi broke toi shoulder but your going to heal. He said. 
Can I shift to my human form. I asked but thought to Edward. 
She wants to know if she can shift back. Edward said. 
I would wait and change back when toi shoulder is healed. It should only take two days max. Carlisle said. 
Can I get up? I asked/ thought. 
Can she get up? Edward asked for me. 
toi can see but I don't want toi putting weight on toi shoulder. Carlisle said. 
Edward lifted the covers off of me and I stood up on my lit not putting any of my weight on my shoulder. Edward than lifted me off the lit so I wouldn't have to jump down.
